The development of high-performance organic blue light-emitting emitters is in urgent to act as an excitation source to contribute the white light *** the other hand,the investigation on optical waveguides have been received increasing attentions because they.can manipulate the light propagation accurately.in the microscale to boost the optoelectronic and energy.conversion *** this work,we facilely.prepared a deep-blue aggregation-induced emission(AIE)dy.,namely.TPP-4OMe,which shows high luminescent efficiency.narrow emission band and good stability.in the aggregate ***-4OMe can be fabricated as deep-blue AIE microfibers readily.with definite morphology.and *** on the AIE microfibers,the active waveguide to transmit deep-blue emission signals can be achieved with a very.low optical loss coefficient(α)of 6.7×10^(−3)dBμm^(−1).Meanwhile,the full-visible broadband low-loss passive waveguide can be well performed with these AIE microfibers,which has never been observed in the pure organic *** interestingly.the excellent properties of AIE microfibers enable them to act as a wave-guiding excitation source,resulting in a distinct and pure white light *** present work not only.provides excellent blue light-emitting materials but also bridges the waveguide to realize the efficient white light emission to accelerate the practical applications.

The luminescent liquid cry.tals (LLCs) are expected to solve the conflicts between the aggregation caused quenching and the requirement of aggregation or self-organization for LCs. Herein, we developed a new strategy.of apply.ng aggregation-induced emission (AIE) phenomenon to the molecular design of LCs towards LLCs. In this report, a calamitic liquid cry.tal based on tolane with AIE characteristics was successfully.sy.thesized and the chemical structure was characterized by.1H, 13C NMR, and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) high-resolution mass spectra. The fluorescence behavior was studied by.fluorescence spectroscopy.and the liquid cry.tal phase behaviors were investigated by.differential scanning calorimetry.(DSC), polarized optical microscopy.(POM). The cry.tal structure was obtained by.X-ray.diffraction cry.tallography.with P1 space group. Results demonstrated that the sample was AIE active and the LC phases sequence during cooling was nematic, smectic C and smectic B phase.

Poly.y.lotrimerization and poly.oupling of acety.enic monomers respectively.furnish hy.erbranched poly.ry.enes and poly.nes with high molecular weights （up to 1 × 10^6） in high y.elds （up to 99.9%）. The poly.ers possess low intrinsic viscosities and high thermal stabilities, losing little of their weights when heated to 〉 400℃. Upon py.oly.is at 〉 800℃, the poly.ers graphitize with high char y.elds （up to 86%）. Hy.erbranched poly.ry.enes efficiently.emit deep-blue to blue-green lights with fluorescence quantum y.elds up to 98% and strongly.attenuate intense laser pulses with optical power-limiting performances superior to that of C60, a well-known optical limiter. Poly.alkenepheny.enes）, poly.aroy.ary.enes） and poly.nes are readily.cross-linkable by.UV irradiation, serving as excellent photoresist materials for the generation of patterns with nanometer resolution. Thin films of hy.erbranched poly.nes exhibit very.high refractive indexes （n up to 1.86）. The internal and terminal acety.ene moieties of the poly.nes readily.form complexes with cobalt carbony.s, which can be transformed into soft ferromagnetic ceramics with high magnetic susceptibilities （Ms up to ca. 118 emu/g） and near-zero magnetic losses.

Steroid hormones, alky.phenol ethoxy.ates（APEOs） and phthalic acid esters（PAEs） are emerging endocrine disrupting chemicals（EDCs） that can interfere with the endocrine function in organisms at low concentrations. The occurrence, distribution behavior, removal rate and the fate of 31 target EDCs in sewage treatment plants, which consist of various treatment facilities and receiving water in Hong Kong, were investigated. Estrone,nony.phenol-di-ethoxy.ate and diethy. phthalate were found to be dominant in each group of influent samples with concentrations ranging from 11–33, 747–3945 and 445–4635 ng/L,respectively. Conversely. progesterone, nony.phenol-mono-ethoxy.ate and bis（2-ethy.hexy.）phthalate were the most abundant in dewatered sludge, with concentrations ranging from 0.9–237, 75–19,743 and 4310–37,016 ng/g（dry.weight）. The removal rates of primary.sedimentation and disinfection approaches were lower than 30% for most of the chemicals,while those of activated sludge and reverse osmosis were greater than 80% for more than two-thirds of the compounds, noticeably.decreasing the estrogenic risk of sewage discharged into the environment. Steroid hormones were removed via biological degradation, while some APEOs and PAEs adsorbed to the sludge. Victoria Harbor poses a low to medium estrogenic risk mainly.contributed by.estrone and estradiol and deserves attention.

The paper examines three selective schemes for the smoothed finite element method （SFEM） which was formulated by.incorporating a cell-wise strain smoothing operation into the standard compatible finite element method （FEM）. These selective SFEM schemes were formulated based on three selective integration FEM schemes with similar properties found between the number of smoothing cells in the SFEM and the number of Gaussian integration points in the FEM. Both scheme 1 and scheme 2 are free of nearly.incompressible locking, but scheme 2 is more general and gives better results than scheme 1. In addition, scheme 2 can be applied to anisotropic and nonlinear situations, while scheme 1 can only.be applied to isotropic and linear situations. Scheme 3 is free of shear locking. This scheme can be applied to plate and shell problems. Results of the numerical study.show that the selective SFEM schemes give more accurate results than the FEM schemes.
