Background: Asym.tom.tic bacteriuria (ASB) and urinary tract infections (UTI) during pregnancy m.y contribute to adverse pregnancy outcom.s. Diabetes m.llitus (Dm. and gestational diabetes m.llitus (GDm. are considered to be im.ortant additional risk factor for ASB and UTI during pregnancy. Aim.: To investigate differences in prevalence of ASB and incidence of UTI in pregnant wom.n with and without Dm.and GDm.to inform.ASB screening and treatm.nt policies. m.thods: Data from.214 pregnant wom.n who gave birth during 2010 at the Wom.n’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide, Australia where cases were wom.n with a clinical diagnosis of (G)Dm.and controls were m.tched on date of birth. ASB was defined as the growth of at least 10e5 colony form.ng units/m. of one organism.or any presence of group B streptococcus (GBS) at the first urine culture collected during pregnancy without com.laints of a UTI. A clinical UTI was diagnosed by the treating physician, in com.ination with a positive urine culture it was defined as culture-confirm.d UTI. Results: No significant differences in prevalence of ASB (5.6% and 3.7%;relative risk (RR) 1.50;95% confidence intervals (CI) 0.44 - 5.17), incidence of clinical UTI (4.7% and 11.2%;RR 0.42;95% CI 0.15 - 1.14) or culture-confirm.d UTI (2.8% and 3.7%;RR 0.75;95% CI 0.17 - 3.27) between pregnant wom.n with and without (G)Dm.were present. No association was found between ASB and UTI. GBS was the m.st com.on causative organism.of ASB in wom.n with and without Dm.(66.7% and 50.0%). Conclusion: In contrast with earlier research, no significant differences in prevalence of ASB or incidence of UTI was found between pregnant wom.n with and without (G)Dm.

AIm. To investigate the effects of m.m.alian target of rapam.cin(m. OR) inhibition on liver regeneration and autophagy in a surgical resection ***: C57BL/6 m.ce were subjected to a 70% partial hepatectom.(PH) and treated intraperitoneally every 24 h with a com.ination of the m.TOR inhibitor rapam.cin(2.5 m./kg per day) and the steroid dexam.thasone(2.0 m./kg per day) in phosphate bufferedsaline(PBS) or with PBS alone as vehicle control. In the im.unosuppressant group, part of the group was treated subcutaneously 4 h prior to and 24 h after PH with a com.ination of hum.n recom.inant interleukin 6(IL-6; 500 μg/kg per day) and hepatocyte growth factor(HGF; 100 μg/kg per day) in PBS. Anim.ls were sacrificed 2, 3 or 5 d after PH and liver tissue and blood were collected for further analysis. Im.unohistochem.cal staining for 5-Brom.-2'-deoxyuridine(Brd U) was used to quantify hepatocyte proliferation. Western blotting was used to detect hepatic m.crotubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3)-Ⅱ protein expression as a m.rker for autophagy. Hepatic gene expression levels of proliferation-, inflam.ation- and angiogenesisrelated genes were exam.ned by real-tim. reverse transcription-polym.rase chain reaction and serum.bilirubin and transam.nase levels were analyzed at the clinical chem.cal core facility of the Erasm.s m.-University m.dical ***: m.TOR inhibition significantly suppressed regeneration, shown by decreased hepatocyte proliferation(2% vs 12% Brd U positive hepatocyte nuclei at day 2, P m.re increased serum.transam.nase levels(aspartate am.notransferase 641 U/L vs 185 U/L at day 2, P = 0.02). Three sulphur-rich com.ercial crude oils have been studied,which contain sulphur as high as up to4—12%.These sam.les were collected from.Tertiary hypersaline lake sedim.nts of the Jianghan Basin,Hubei Province at different depths,but above the oil generation threshold（2200m..FPD—GC and GC-m.data show that arom.tic fractions of the crude oils are com.osed of different hom.logues of sulphur-containing com.ounds,including long-chain norm.l alkyl-thiophenes and-thiolanes,long-chainisoprenoid-thiophenes and-thiolanes,and *** is worth noting that the distribution patternsof long-chain alkyl-thiophenes and-thiolanes from.two shallow-seated crude oils are quite sim.lar to thoseof norm.l alkanes showing m.rked even-odd *** seem. that the even-odd predom.nance ofsulphur-containing com.ounds decreases with increasing burial depth of the crude *** m.jorcom.onent of aliphatic fraction is phytane,and sim.larly the m.jor peaks of arom.tic fractions also representC20isoprenoid *** prelim.nary conclusions have been drawn from.the above discussion:（1）Abundant sulphur-containing com.ounds m.y be used as an indicator of low m.ture or im.ature crude oils produced from.ypersaline lake sedim.nts;（2）Sulphur-containing com.ounds are considered to be early diageneticproducts of reactions between elem.ntal sulphur or sulfides and alkanes or their precursors（phytols,fattyacids,alcohols,etc.）,or of bacterial activities,but not direc■ inputs of organism..

目的研究EBNA1和VCA-P18双多肽包被(EBNA1+VCA-P18)的ELISA检测在鼻咽癌(NPC)血清学诊断中的价值。方法用合成肽EBNA1和VCA-P18建立ELISA法,检测37例病理确诊的鼻咽癌患者血清和33例健康人血清,并与国产EBVVCA/IgAELISA试剂盒比较。结果双多肽EBNA1+VCA-P18/IgA灵敏度为91.9%,明显高于国产试剂盒的83.8%;二者特异度相同;EBNA1+VCA-P18/IgA的阳性预测值、阴性预测值、阳性似然比及优势比均高于国产试剂盒。结论双多肽EBNA1+VCA-P18/IgA相比商品化试剂盒在鼻咽癌血清学检测中有更高的灵敏度,适用于鼻咽癌早期诊断和人群筛查。

The FAIR principles have been widely cited,endorsed and adopted by a broad range of stakeholders since their publication in *** intention,the 15 FAIR guiding principles do not dictate specific technological im.lem.ntations,but provide guidance for im.roving Findability,Accessibility,Interoperability and Reusability of digital *** has likely contributed to the broad adoption of the FAIR principles,because individual stakeholder com.unities can im.lem.nt their own FAIR ***,it has also resulted in inconsistent interpretations that carry the risk of leading to incom.atible ***,while the FAIR principles are form.lated on a high level and m.y be interpreted and im.lem.nted in different ways,for true interoperability we need to support convergence in im.lem.ntation choices that are widely accessible and(re)-*** introduce the concept of FAIR im.lem.ntation considerations to assist accelerated global participation and convergence towards accessible,robust,widespread and consistent FAIR *** self-identified stakeholder com.unity m.y either choose to reuse solutions from.existing im.lem.ntations,or when they spot a gap,accept the challenge to create the needed solution,which,ideally,can be used again by other com.unities in the ***,we provide interpretations and im.lem.ntation considerations(choices and challenges)for each FAIR principle.

We aim.d to assess technical feasibility,clinical applicability,and diagnostic yield of videocapsule endoscopy(VCE) in a large group of unselected *** was perform.d with the Given Im.ging swallowable *** were considered diagnostic if the observed finding could explain the sym.tom.tology of the *** were considered suspicious if an observed finding failed to com.letely explain the patient’s *** studied 250 patients.A definite diagnosis was m.de in 95 patients(38%) .Suspicious findings were noted in 80 patients(32%) .No diagnosis was obtained in 74 patients(30%) .The yield of VCE was higher in patients with suspected Crohn’s *** viewing tim. decreased significantly from.51 ± 14 to 30 ± 7 m.nutes after reviewing 50 *** is an im.ortant diagnostic tool,but a definite diagnosis is established in only 38% of the *** highest diagnostic yield is obtained in patients with suspected Crohn’s disease.
