Naturalﬁbre(NFR)reinforced functional polymer composites are quickly becoming an indispensable sustainable material in the transportation industry because of their lightweight,lower cost in manufacture,and adaptability to a wide variety of ***,the major difﬁculties of using theseﬁbres are their existing poor dimensional stability and the extreme *** assessing the mechanical properties(MP)of composites,the interfacial bonding(IB)happening between the NFR and the polymer matrix(PM)plays an incredibly signiﬁcant *** compared to NFR/syntheticﬁbre hybrid composites,hybrid composites(Hc)made up of two separate NFR are less prevalent;yet,these hybrid composites also have the potential to be valuable materials in terms of environmental issues.A new dimension to theﬂexibility of composites reinforced with NFR is added by the cost-effective manufacture of hybrid composites utilising *** purpose of this study is to offer an over-view of the keyﬁndings that were presented on hybrid *** emphasis was focused on the factors that inﬂuence the performance of the naturalﬁber composites,diverse approaches to enhancing MP,physical,electri-cal,and thermal characteristics of the *** study in polymer science gains interest for applications in con-struction and automotive industries.

The cost of acquisition of a passive house is a little higher than that of a conventional *** design of a passive house should include not only thermal protection and stability of the construction,but it must also take into account the price demands on each of the proposed structures and solution of *** paper deals with the financial comparison of the traditional method of a foundation on the foundation strips of plain concrete and the modern method of founding a passive house as brick construction on the reinforced concrete slab base with a compact subsoil layer of thermal insulation in the form of granules of foamed glass.

BAcKGROUND Medical treatment for crohn’s disease(cD)has continuously improved,which has led to a decrease in surgical recurrence *** these advancements,25%of patients will undergo repeat intestinal *** of cD com-monly occurs on the mesentery side of the anastomosis *** To compare the new anti-mesenteric side-to-side delta-shaped stapled anasto-mosis(DsA)with the conventional stapled functional end-to-end anastomosis(csA).METHODs This retrospective study included cD patients who underwent ileo-ileal or ileo-colic anastomosis between january 2020 and December *** DsA technique employed a stapler to maintain the concept of anti-mesentery side-to-side ana-stomosis by performing a 90°vertical closure of the open window compared with the csA *** the corner where the open window is closed,the DsA avoids forming a pouch and creates an anastomosis resembling a delta shape within the intestinal *** compared demographics,preoperative condition,operative findings,and operative outcomes for the two *** The study included 175 patients,including 92 in the DsA group and 83 in the csA *** two groups were similar in baseline characteristics,preoperative medical treatment,and operative findings except for the Montreal classification *** 30-days postoperative complication rate was signi-ficantly lower in the DsA group compared with the csA group(16.3%vs 32.5%,P=0.009).Ileus incidence was significantly lower in the DsA group than in the csA group(4.3%vs 14.5%,P=0.033),and the hospital stay was shorter in the DsA group than in the csA group(5.67±1.53 days vs 7.39±3.68 days,P=0.001).cONcLUsION The DsA technique was feasible and showed comparable postoperative outcomes with lower short-term complic-ations compared with the csA *** studies on cD recurrence and long-term complications are warranted.

BAcKGROUND Hypothermic machine perfusion(HMP)has demonstrated benefits in terms of early kidney transplant function compared to static cold *** longer preservation times have shown detrimental effects,a previous paired study indicated that longer pump times(the second kidney in a pair)might lead to improved *** To revisit the prior paired study's somewhat unexpected results by reviewing our program's *** A total of 61 pairs of transplant recipients who received kidneys from the same donor(2012-2021)were *** were divided into two groups depending on whether they were transplanted first(K1)or second(K2).Therefore,the patients in each pair had identical donor characteristics,except for time on the *** analyses included Kaplan-Meyer analysis and paired tests,including McNemar's test,student's paired t-test,or Wilcoxon's test,as *** The two groups of recipients had similar demographics(age,body mass index,diabetes,time on dialysis,sensit-ization and retransplants).cold ischemic times for K1 and K2 were 8.9(95%cI:7.9,9.8)and 14.7 hours(13.7,15.8)(Psy-proven acute rejection at 1 year(P=0.015).Delayed graft function was less common in K2,12/61(20%)than in K1,20/61(33%)(P=0.046).Finally,K2 showed a higher graft survival than K1(P=0.023).cONcLUsION Our results agree with a previous study that suggested possible advantages to longer pump *** studies should encourage further research into HMP's potential anti-inflammatory effect.

Microbes that are beneficial to plants are used to enhance the crop growth,yield and are alternatives to chemical *** and Bacillus are the predominant plant growth-promoting fungi and *** objective of this study was select,characterize,and evaluate isolates of Trichoderma *** Bacillus *** from the northern region of sinaloa,Mexico,and assess their effect on growth promotion in maize(Zea mays L.).In greenhouse conditions,four Trichoderma isolates and twenty Bacillus isolates,as well as two controls,were tested in a completely randomized design with three *** selected the two best strains of Trichoderma and Bacillus:TB=Trichoderma asperellum,TF=Trichoderma virens,B14=Bacillus cereus sensu lato and B17=Bacillus cereus,which were evaluated in the field in a completely randomized blocks in factorial arrangement design with three replicates applying different rates of nitrogen fertilizer(0,150 kg N/ha,and 300 kg N/ha).Treatments 5(B17=***)and 11(TF=***)both fertilized with 150 kg N/ha showed similar yields and they did not reveal significant differences from the treatments fertilized with 300 kg N/*** indicated that treatment 5(B17=*** with 150 kg N/ha)and treatment 11(TF=*** with 150 kg N/ha)were efficient as growth promoters,by not showing significant differences in root volume and dry weight of *** results indicated a reduction of 50% in the rate of nitrogen to fertilizer required for maize(Zea mays L.)*** microorganisms Trichoderma and Bacillus could be an alternative to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in maize.

Mechanical Behaviour of composite Bioactive Bone cements consisting of Two Different Types of surface Treated Hydroxyapatite as Filler

Bioactive bone cements based on a paste-paste system for orthopaedic applications were developed consisting of hydroxyapatite （ HA ） filler panicles in a methacrylate matrix comprising urethane dimethacrylate （ UDMA ） and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate （ TEGDMA ）. To improve the interface between inorganic filler and organic matrix the HA panicles were subjected to two different surface treatment methods, using polyacrylic acid （PAA） and γ-methacryloxy propyl trimethoxy silane （γMPs）. The aim of the present study was to determine the influence of surface treatment and the inclusion of multifunctional methacrylates on the mechanical properties, namely 3-point flexural strength （Fs） and fracture toughness of the cements and the effect of ageing in simulated body fluid. comparing the mechanical properties of the two cements, the γMPs- HA cement showed that the fracture toughness of the experimental bone cements were significantly greater （ p 〈 0.001） compared to that of the PMMA cement, whereas PAA-HA containing cement had strength vollues around 20% lower. Interestingly, PAA was found to be more effective in improving the interface as the PAA treated HA cement （ UTHAPPA ） maintained its strength on immersion in sBF, suggesting that PAA provided a coupling, which was less sensitive to moisture, a similar trend was also observed with the inclusion of the carboxyl containing multifunctional methacrylates.

We report on the application of Laser Induced Breakdown spectroscopy(LIBs)technique to the study of ca,P,Zn and sr evolutions for adult caries-affected teeth using nanosecond laser *** aim of this work is to better understand the behaviors of Zn and sr as trace-elements in the caries eruption with respect to the behaviors of one of the main compounds of the hydroxyapatite crystal which is the *** study was focused on the investigation of these elements’evolutions from three parts of the enamel surfaces of twenty two adult caries-affected teeth;the healthy part,the dental plaque part and the caries-affected *** decrease rates of Zn,sr and P was,also,compared to the ca *** concerned normalized emission line *** every species,normalization was done relatively to the emission line intensities of the healthy *** showed that abundances of these elements decrease similarly from the healthy parts to the affected-caries *** higher decrease rate was noticed for the *** evolutions of Zn and sr for the three parts of the teeth surfaces cannot inform about the substitution of the calcium by these trace-elements,however the comparison of their decrease rates to the calcium one can be considered as a valuable index of this substitution.

It is generally accepted that jasmonate-ZIM domain(jaZ)repressors act to mediate jasmonate(ja)signaling via cORONATINE-INsENsITIVE1(cOI1)-mediated ***,we report a cryptic signaling cascade where a jaZ repressor,FvjaZ12,mediates multiple signaling inputs via phosphorylation-modulated subcellular translocation rather than the cOI1-mediated degradation mechanism in strawberry(Fragaria vesca).FvjaZ12 acts to regulate flavor metabolism and defense response,and was found to be the target of Fv MPK6,a mitogen-activated protein kinase that is capable of responding to multiple signal ***6 phosphorylates FvjaZ12 at the amino acid residues s179 and T183 adjacent to the PY residues,thereby attenuating its nuclear accumulation and relieving its repression for FvMYc2,which acts to control the expression of lipoxygenase 3(FvLOX3),an important gene involved in ja biosynthesis and a diverse array of cellular *** data reveal a previously unreported mechanism for ja signaling and decipher a signaling cascade that links multiple signaling inputs with fruit trait development.
