Wavelength-tunable structural colors using stimuli-responsive materials,such as chiral liquid crystals(CLCs),have attracted increasing attention owing to their high functionality in various tunable photonic ***,on-demand omnidirectional wavelength control is highly desirable from the perspective of wavelength-tuning ***,despite numerous previous research efforts on tunable CLC structural colors,only mono-directional wavelength tuning toward shorter wavelengths has been employed in most studies to *** this study,we report the ideally desired omnidirectional wavelength control toward longer and shorter wavelengths with significantly improved tunability over a broadband wavelength *** using areal expanding and contractive strain control of dielectric elastomer actuators(DEAs)with chiral liquid crystal elastomers(CLCEs),simultaneous and omnidirectional structural color-tuning control was *** breakthrough in omnidirectional wavelength control enhances the achievable tuning freedom and versatility,making it applicable to a broad range of high-functional photonic applications.

Background The intestinal epithelium performs essential physiological functions, such as nutrient absorption, and acts as a barrier to prevent the entry of harmful substances. Mycotoxins are prevalent contaminants found in ani-mal feed that exert harmful effects on the health of livestock. Zearalenone(ZEA) is produced by the Fusarium genus and induces gastrointestinal dysfunction and disrupts the health and immune system of animals. Here, we evaluated the molecular mechanisms that regulate the effects of ZEA on the porcine intestinal *** Treatment of IPEC-J2 cells with ZEA decreased the expression of E-cadherin and increased the expression of Snai1 and Vimentin, which induced Snail1-mediated epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT). The increasing demand for short charging time on electric vehicles has motivated realization of fast chargeable lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,shortening the charging time of LIBs is limited by Li^(+)intercalation process consisting of liquid-phase diffusion,de-solvation,SEI crossing,and solid-phase ***,we propose a new strategy to accelerate the de-solvation step through a control of interaction between polymeric binder and solvent-Li^(+)*** this purpose,three alkali metal ions(Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))substituted carboxymethyl cellulose(Li-,Na-,and K-CMC)are prepared to examine the effects of metal ions on their *** lowest activation energy of de-solvation and the highest chemical diffusion coefficient were observed for ***,Li-CMC cell with a capacity of 3 mAh cm^(-2)could be charged to>95%in 10 min,while a value above>85%was observed after 150 ***,the presented approach holds great promise for the realization of fast charging.

Background Advancements in neonatal care have increased preterm infant survival but paradoxically raised intraventricular hemorrhage(IVH)*** study explores IVH prevalence and long-term outcomes of very low birth weight(VLBW)infants in Korea over a *** Using Korean National Health Insurance data(NHIS,2010-2019),we identified 3372 VLBW infants with IVH among 4,129,808 live ***-related claims data,encompassing diagnostic codes,diagnostic test costs,and administered procedures were sourced from the NHIS *** results of the developmental assessments are categorized into four groups based on standard deviation(SD)*** characteristics and complications were compared among the *** regression models were employed to identify significant changes in the incidence of complications and to calculate odds ratios with corresponding 95%confidence intervals for each risk factor associated with mortality and morbidity in ***-term growth and development were compared between the two groups(years 2010-2013 and 2014-2017).Results IVH prevalence was 12%in VLBW and 16%in extremely low birth weight(ELBW)*** the past decade,IVH rates increased significantly in ELBW infants(P=0.0113),while mortality decreased(P=0.0225).Major improvements in certain neurodevelopmental outcomes and reductions in early morbidities have been observed among VLBW infants with *** percent of the population received surgical treatments such as external ventricular drainage(EVD)or a ventriculoperitoneal(VP)shunt,with the choice of treatment methods remaining consistent over *** IVH with surgical intervention group exhibited higher incidences of delayed development,cerebral palsy,seizure disorder,and growth failure(height,weight,and head circumference)up to 72 months of age(P<0.0001).Surgical treatments were also significantly associated with abnormal developmental screening test *** The neurodevelopmental outcomes of infa
