AIM:To identify genetic defects in a Chinese family with congenital posterior polar cataracts and assess the pathogenicity.METHODS:A four-generation Chinese family affected with autosomal dominant congenital cataract was recruited.Nineteen individuals took part in this study including 5 affected and 14 unaffected individuals.Sanger sequencing targeted hot-spot regions of 27 congenital cataract-causing genes for variant discovery.The pathogenicity of the variant was evaluated by the guidelines of American College of Medical Genetics and InterVar software.Confocal microscopy was applied to detect the subcellular localization of fluorescence-labeled ephrin type-A receptor 2(EPHA2).Co-immunoprecipitation assay was implemented to estimate the interaction between EphA2 and other lens membrane proteins.The mRNA and protein expression were analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and Western blotting assay,respectively.The cell migration was analyzed by wound healing assay.Zebrafish model was generated by ectopic expression of human EPHA2/p.R957P mutant to demonstrate whether the mutant could cause lens opacity in vivo.RESULTS:A novel missense and pathogenic variant c.2870G>C was identified in the sterile alpha motif(SAM)domain of EPHA2.Functional studies demonstrated the variant’s impact:reduced EPHA2 protein expression,altered subcellular localization,and disrupted interactions with other lens membrane proteins.This mutant notably enhanced human lens epithelial cell migration,and induced a central cloudy region and roughness in zebrafish lenses with ectopic expression of human EPHA2/p.R957P mutant under differential interference contrast(DIC)optics.CONCLUSION:Novel pathogenic c.2870G>C variant of EPHA2 in a Chinese congenital cataract family contributes to disease pathogenesis.

电信隐性转移支付对工业企业资本循环的影响

文章结合2003—2015年中国工业企业微观数据和省市宏观数据,对电信隐性转移支付进行定义和测度,并从理论和实证上探究了其对工业企业资本循环的影响。结果表明:(1)各省份电信隐性转移支付呈现出明显的时序变化和空间分布特征,总体上东部地区存在电信资源隐性转出,中西部地区存在电信资源隐性转入。(2)理论和实证分析表明,电信隐性转移支付对工业企业资本循环存在正向影响,并且在进行内生性分析和稳健性检验后结论依然成立。(3)异质性分析表明,相对于出口企业和发达地区企业而言,内销企业和欠发达地区企业资本循环受到电信隐性转移支付的提升效应更大,从而在一定程度上有利于促进国内大循环、缩小区域发展差距。

中国农田土壤重金属污染分析与评价

为掌握中国农田土壤八大重金属元素(As、Cd、Cr、Cu、Hg、Ni、Pb和Zn)的污染现状,探究其时空变化和在不同耕地类型之间的差异,通过中国知网和Web of Science收集并整理了2005~2021年449篇相关文献数据,采用基于“样点数”、“研究区面积”和“标准差”的加权方式进行Meta分析.结果显示,中国农田土壤八大重金属的含量平均值为:ω(As)11.00 mg·kg^(−1)、ω(Cd)0.3502 mg·kg^(−1)、ω(Cr)62.91 mg·kg^(−1)、ω(Cu)28.87 mg·kg^(−1)、ω(Hg)0.1351 mg·kg^(−1)、ω(Ni)28.91 mg·kg^(−1)、ω(Pb)34.67 mg·kg^(−1)和ω(Zn)90.24 mg·kg^(−1).与土壤背景值相比,中国农田土壤中各重金属元素(除As外)均存在一定累积,其中Cd和Hg的累积量最大,分别超过对应土壤背景值177.9%和340.3%.污染评价结果表明,我国农田土壤重金属污染以Cd和Hg为主,人类活动是造成其在土壤中累积的主要影响因子;从时空变化上看,云贵高原和东部沿海是污染案例最集中的区域,污染重心随时间变化由长江中游向西南地区偏移;不同耕地类型之间土壤重金属含量存在差异,蔬菜地和水田中重金属的累积量明显大于其他耕地类型.

In recent few years, significant improvement has been made in developing largescale 3 D printer to accommodate the need of industrial-scale 3 D printing. Cementitious materials that are compatible with 3 D printing promote rapid application of this innovative technique in the construction field with advantages of cost effective, high efficiency, design flexibility and environmental friendly. This paper firstly reviews existing 3 D printing techniques that are currently being used in commercial3 D printers. It then summarizes three latest development of largescale 3 D printing systems and identifies their relationships and limiting factors. Thereafter, critical factors that are used to evaluate the workability and printable performance of cementitious materials are specified. Easy-extrusive, easy-flowing, well-buildable, and proper setting time are significant for cementitious material to meet the critical requirements of a freeform construction process. Finally, main advantages, potential applications and the prospects of future research of 3 D printing in construction technology are suggested. The objective of this work is to review current design methodologies and operational constraints of largescale 3 D printing system and provide references for optimizing the performance of cementitious material and promote its responsible use with largescale 3 D printing technology.

How moisture loss affects coal porosity and permeability during gas recovery in wet reservoirs?

Moisture in coal seams changes gas adsorption capacity, induces coal deformation, and affects coal porosity. However, fewer studies have investigated the dynamic process of moisture loss. In this study, a fully coupled multi-physical model for coal deformation, gas flow and moisture loss was implemented. It validated the coal-gas-moisture interactions of the decay of gas adsorption capacity and the coal shrinkage.Subsequently, the proposed model was applied to a simulation of coal seam gas recovery from wet reservoir and solved using the finite method in COMSOL Multiphysics 3.5. Analyses of the component factors and the sensitive parameters of moisture loss on coal porosity and permeability were comprehensively studied at last. The results reveal that moisture loss enhances coal porosity and permeability. The decay of gas adsorption capacity decreases coal permeability while the coal shrinkage promotes it. The decrease of the adsorption decay coefficient and the increase of the initial density of saturated water vapor and water evaporation constant can enhance the permeability of wet coal seams.

Impact of hydraulic perforation on fracture initiation and propagation in shale rocks

To enhance the oil and gas recovery rate, hydraulic fracturing techniques have been widely adopted for stimulation of low-permeability reservoirs. Pioneering work indicates that hydraulic perforation and layout could significantly affect fracture initiation and propagation in low-permeability reservoir rocks subjected to complex in-situ stresses. This paper reports on a novel numerical method that incorporates fracture mechanics principles and the numerical tools FRANC3 D and ANSYS to investigate the three-dimensional initiation and propagation behavior of hydro-fracturing cracks in shale rock. Considering the transverse isotropic property of shale rocks, the mechanical parameters of reservoir rocks attained from laboratory tests were adopted in the simulation. The influence of perforation layouts on the 3D initiation of hydro-fracturing fractures in reservoir rocks under geo-stresses was quantitatively illuminated. The propagation and growth of fractures in three dimensions in different perforating azimuth values were illustrated. The results indicate that: 1) the optimal perforation direction should be parallel to the maximum horizontal principal stress, 2) the crack plane gradually turns toward the direction of the maximum horizontal principal stress when they are not in parallel, 3) compared with the linear and symmetric pattern, the staggered perforation is the optimal one, 4) the proper perforation density is four to six holes per meter, 5) the optimal perforation diameter in this model is 30 mm, and 6) the influence of the perforation depth on the fracture initiation pressure is low.

Microwave based detector for continuous assessment of intracerebral hemorrhage

Continuous detecting of the rate and size of hematoma expansion is crucial for intracerebral hemorrhage management and treatment. To continuously assess intracerebral hemorrhage in human head, a novel nondestructive microwave head detecting system is presented in this study. An open-ended cylindrical waveguide is employed as sensing antenna, which is operated associated with a coaxial cable for signal transmission and data acquisition. Measurement of amplitude data over the frequency range of 100–400 MHz is processed to evaluate the changes in intracerebral hemorrhage, based on the system's operating principle that the sensor functions as a resonant cavity. Furthermore, 3D printed anatomically and dielectrically realistic human head phantoms with different lesions are fabricated to verify the efficacy of this proposed hemorrhagic stroke assessment system.It is worth noting that the quantitative results show that the system operating in TE_(111) mode is able to detect intracerebral hemorrhage size change as small as 1 cm^3, demonstrating the possibility of this proposed head evaluating system in future preclinical trials.
