We report a high-power single-mode InP-based 2μm distributed feedback(DFB)laser with a second-order buried grating and corrugated sidewalls.A second-order semiconductor grating is used for in-plane feedback and vertical *** corrugated sidewalls are used to eliminate higher-order transverse *** the DFB laser with a 2 mm long cavity and 15μm wide ridge,the maximum continuous-wave edge-emitting and surface-emitting single-mode powers at 300 K are up to 81 and 42 m W,respectively.A single-lobed far-field radiation pattern with a low divergence angle of approximately 8.6°is achieved by a device with a ridge width of 15μ*** single-longitudinal-mode emission wavelength of the fabricated laser can be adjusted from2003.8 nm at 288 K to 2006.9 nm at 313 K without any mode *** single-mode emission with a side-mode suppression ratio of 30 dB is achieved under all injection currents and temperature conditions.

The Xiluodu(XLD)reservoir is the second largest reservoir in China and the largest in the Jinsha River *** occurrence of two M>5 earthquakes after reservoir impoundment has aroused great interest among seismologists and plant *** comprehensively analyzed the seismicity of the XLD reservoir area using precise earthquake relocation results and focal mechanism solutions and found that the seismicity of this area was weak before *** impoundment,earthquake activity increased *** occurrence of M≥3.5 earthquakes within five years of impoundment also appear to be closely related to rapid rises and falls in water level,though this correlation weakened after five years because earthquake activity was far from the reservoir *** in the XLD reservoir area are clustered;near the dam(Area A),small faults are intermittently distributed along the river,while Area B is composed of multiple NW-trending left-lateral strikeslip faults and a thrust fault and Area C is composed of a NW-trending left-lateral strike-slip main fault and a nearly EWtrending right-lateral strike-slip minor *** geometries of the deep and the shallow parts of the NW-trending fault *** the action of the NW-trending background stress field,a series of NW-trending left-lateral strike-slip faults and NE-trending thrust faults in critical stress states were dislocated due to the stress caused by reservoir *** two largest earthquakes in the XLD reservoir area were tectonic earthquakes that were directly triggered by impoundment.

A new method is proposed to analyze the pore-scale mechanisms and characterization of light oil storage in shale nanopores,which is based on the Hydrocarbon Vapor Adsorption(HVA)and Pore Calculation Model(PCM).First,the basic principle of the HVA-PCM method is introduced,and the experimental/mathematical analysis processes are ***,the HVA-PCM method is applied to shale samples to analyze the mechanisms and characterization of light oil storage in shale *** results provide insights into the pore-scale oil storage mechanisms,oil storage structure,oil film thickness,oil distribution within different sized pores,and the oil storage ***,the advantages and limitations of the HVA-PCM method are discussed,and suggestions for further improvement are ***,the HVA-PCM method is a powerful tool for extracting quantitative information on the light oil storage in shale nanopores.

Marine-continental transitional shale is a potential energy component in China and is expected to be a realistic field in terms of increasing reserves and enhancing the natural gas ***,the complex lithology,constantly changing depositional environment and lithofacies make the quantitative determination of the total organic carbon(TOC)suitable for marine shales not necessarily applicable to transitional ***,the identification of marine-continental transitional organic-rich shales and the mechanism of organic matter enrichment need to be further *** a typical representative of transitional shale,samples from Well MY-1 in the Taiyuan Formation in the southern North China Basin,were selected for TOC prediction using a combination of experimental organic geochemical data and well logging data including natural gamma-ray(GR),density(DEN),acoustic(AC),neutron(CNL)and U spectral gamma-ray(U),and TH spectral gamma-ray(TH).The correlation coefficient,coefficient of determination,standard deviation,mean squared error(MSE)and root mean squared error(RMSE)were selected to conduct the error analysis of the evaluation of different well log-based prediction methods,involving U spectral gamma logging,ΔlogR,and multivariate fitting methods to obtain the optimal TOC prediction method for the Taiyuan transitional *** plots of TOC versus the remaining volatile hydrocarbon content and the generation potential from Rock Eval show good to excellent potentials for hydrocarbon *** integrated results obtained from the various log-based TOC estimation methods indicate that,the multivariate fitting method of GR-U-DEN-CNL combination is preferable,with the correlation coefficients of 0.78 and 0.97 for the entire and objective interval of the Taiyuan Formation respectively,and with the minimum MSE and RMSE ***,the U spectral gamma logging method based on single logging parameter is also a better choice for TOC prediction of the high-q

Types and Characteristics of the Lower Silurian Shale Gas Reservoirs in and Around the Sichuan Basin

This study analyzed the characteristics and types of the Lower Silurian shale gas reservoirs in and around Sichuan Basin through field observations, slices, Ar-ion-beam milling, scanning electron microscopy, and x-ray diffraction analysis of 25 black shale outcrops and samples. Two main types of shale gas reservoirs were determined, i.e., fractures and pores. Fractures were classified into five categories, i.e., giant, large, medium, small, and micro, according to the features of the shale gas reservoirs, effect of fracture on gas accumulation, and fracture nature. Pore types include organic matter pores, mineral pores（mineral surface, intraparticle, interparticle, and corrosional pore）, and nanofractures. The various fracture types, fracture scales, pore types, and pore sizes exert different controls over the gas storage and production capacity. Pores serve as a reservoir for gas storage and, the gas storage capacity can be determined using pores; fractures serve as pathways for gas migration, and gas production capacity can be determined using them.

To facilitate the development of on-chip integrated mid-infrared multi-channel gas sensing systems,we propose a high-power dual-mode(7.01 and 7.5μm)distributed feedback quantum cascade laser based on stacked 3D monolithic *** mode control is achieved by preparing longitudinal nested bi-periodic compound one-dimensional Bragg gratings along the direction of the cavity length in the confinement ***,transverse coherent coupling ridges perpendicular to the cavity length direction are fabricated in the upper waveguide layer to promote the fundamental transverse mode output when all ridges are in *** dual-wavelength simultaneous emission with a side-mode suppression ratio of more than 20 dB was achieved by holographic exposure and wet *** entire spectral tuning range covers nearly 100 nm through joint tuning of the injection current and heat-sink *** peak power and beam quality are guaranteed by the parallel coherent integration of seven-element ridge *** device operates in a fundamental supermode with a single-lobed far-field pattern,and its peak output power reaches 3.36 W in pulsed mode at 20℃.This dual-mode laser chip has the potential for in-situ on-chip simultaneous detection of CH4and C2H6gases in leak monitoring.

活蛹缫丝对家蚕综合经济性状的影响

【目的】探明活蛹缫丝对家蚕杂交组合及其亲本的健康性、茧丝质量、品种特性等综合经济性状的影响,为家蚕新材料的创制、筛选和固定以及突破性新蚕品种的定向培育提供理论依据。【方法】2019—2022年,以亲本造A和兰B为试验材料,连续4代对亲本进行活蛹缫丝试验并进行继代保育,同时随代制备杂交组合,以未进行活蛹缫丝的亲本和杂交组合为对照,调查龄期经过、四龄病小蚕数量、产茧量、全茧量、茧层量,观测茧形情况并分粒计数、缫丝茧个体重量和范围、切断、纇节、丝长、丝干重,调查母蛾产卵量、不良卵粒数及孵化情况。【结果】活蛹缫丝亲本(造A和兰B)饲育成绩中结茧率、虫蛹率和全茧量3项指标与对照差异显著(P<0.05),部分指标的提升与饲育季节相关。亲本的纇节与切断次数随活蛹缫丝不断深入而逐代明显减少,茧丝长度明显增长。活蛹缫丝导致亲本的产卵量减少,产附变差。产卵量变化在亲本间及亲本与对照间差异均显著(P<0.05)。杂交组合(造A×兰B)饲育指标中发育经过(五龄和全龄经过)、普茧率和结茧率与对照无显著差异,健蛹率较对照有一定增加,万头蚕产茧量较对照有不同程度减少;全茧量和茧层率因季节呈动态变化,总平均与对照基本持平;万头蚕产茧量和虫蛹率与对照差异显著(P<0.05)。杂交组合缫丝成绩中清洁和净度与对照无差别,上车茧率和解舒率随活蛹缫丝不断深入而逐代提高,茧丝长、茧丝纤度和万米吊糙呈动态变化,总平均与对照基本持平;茧丝长和解舒率2项指标与对照差异显著(P<0.05)。【结论】经活蛹缫丝处理亲本(造A和兰B)的纇节与切断次数随缫丝不断深入而逐代明显减少,茧丝长明显增长,普茧率和茧层率与对照基本持平。亲本结茧率和健蛹率较对照均有不同程度提高,结茧率造A和兰B春季分别提升3.69%和3.76%,秋季分别提升8.13%和1.70%;健蛹率造A和兰B春季分别提升4.55%和6.19%,秋季分别提升8.23%和0.98%。亲本经活蛹缫丝的杂交组合(造A×兰B)的普茧率、健蛹率、茧质成绩较对照均有不同程度提升,春季的普茧率、健蛹率、解舒率和丝长分别较对照提高3.73%、0.84%、3.00%和4.34%;秋季的普茧率与对照基本持平,而健蛹率、解舒率和丝长分别较对照提高0.67%、3.90%和1.62%。

Lacustrine Shale Deposition and Variable Tectonic Accommodation in the Rift Basins of the Bohai Bay Basin in Eastern China

Organic-rich lacustrine shales are widely distributed in China and have significant potential for unconventional shale gas and oil production although the primary factors controlling the deposition of lacustrine shale are disputed. This work clarifies the different characteristics of tectonic evolution and shale among sub-basins in the Bohai Bay Basin in eastern China as a case study by studying basal subsidence, tectonic subsidence rate, basin extensional proportions and shale chemical characteristics. The paper summarizes the correlation between structure and shale deposition, and concludes that tectonic activity is the primary controlling factor for shale development. Episodic tectonic activity controls not only the timing of shale deposition（with the greatest shale deposition occurring primarily during the peak period of basin tectonic activity） but also the spatial distribution of shale（located mainly in areas of maximum subsidence）, the migration pattern of shale（conforming to that of the basin subsidence center）, and shale strata thickness. Tectonic activity also affects the total organic carbon content and organic matter type in shale. When the tectonic activity was the most active and basal subsidence was the maximum, the total organic carbon content of the shale reached its highest value with organic matter type mainly Type I. As tectonic activity weakened, the total organic carbon content decreased, and the organic matter type changed from Type I to Type I-III.
