The dynamical behavior of surface catalytic oxidation reaction of Pt(1.0)/CO+O2 modulated by colored noise, under the condition of specific temperature, has been investigated when the partial pressure of CO gas is near the supercritical Hopf bifurcation point. By computer simulation the oscillation and stochastic resonance induced by colored noise are observed. The influences of the intensity and correlation time of colored noise on stochastic resonance are discussed. The range of sensitivity of the system to the environmental fluctuation is analyzed.

Internal noise stochastic resonance in CO oxidation on nm-sized palladium particles

Based on a stochastic mesoscopic model, the influence of internal noise on the oscillatory kinetics of the catalytic oxidation of CO on nm-sized palladium particles is studied, using the chemical Langevin equations, Poisson approximation algorithm, and exact stochastic simulation algorithm. The reaction rate oscillations are of stochastic nature due to considerable internal noise in such mesoscopic systems. It is found that the performance of the stochastic oscillations undergoes a maximum with the variation of internal noise level for a given CO partial pressure, which demonstrates the occurrence of internal noise stochastic resonance. This phe-nomenon implies that optimal internal noise would favor the reaction rate oscillation of CO oxi-dation on nm particles. Such a phenomenon is robust to the change of external parameters, such as CO pressures.

Network failures occur frequently, and self-healing ability of existing routing protocols cannot guarantee fast route convergence under these failures without impacting packet forwarding. During routing convergence, network routes may be incorrect and even routing black holes and loops occur, which will result in extensive packet loss and thus influence network performance. To solve this problem, several improved routing solutions have been proposed. In this paper, we propose the concept and model of self-healing routing and analyze the key problems in current intra-domain and inter-domain self-healing routing protocols after briefly reviewing the characteristics of network failures. We classify the different self-healing solutions into two categories based on their design principles: routing restoration and routing protection, and systematically analyze these different typical solutions. Finally, we discuss several key issues in self-healing routing and propose a hybrid protection and restoration based routing scheme.

The influence of external noise on intracellular Ca2+ oscillations dynamics in a single cell of rat hepatocytes is *** coherence of noise-induced intracellular Ca2+ oscillations reached two maxima for multiple external noise intensity,indicating the occurrence of external noise stochastic bi-resonance (SBR).This phenomenon is compared with our previous result that was induced by internal ***,the deterministic bifurcation character of the system was also discussed.

In order to seek the co-adaptability solution to conflict events in construction engineering projects, a new method referred to as segmented hierarchical algorithm is proposed in this paper by means of comparing co-adaptability evolution process of conflict events to the stackelberg model. By this new algorithm, local solutions to the first-order transformation of co-adaptability for conflict events can be obtained, based upon which, a global solution to the second-order transformation of co-adaptability for conflict events can also be decided by judging satisfaction degree of local solutions. The research results show that this algorithm can be used not only for obtaining co-adaptability solution to conflict events efficiently, but also for other general decision-making problems with multi-layers and multi-subsidi-aries in project management field.

First-principles calculations on implanted TiO_2 by 3d transition metal ions

3d transition metal (V, Cr and Fe) ions are implanted into TiO2 by the method of metal ion implantation. The electronic band structures of TiO2 films doped 3d transition metal ions have been analyzed by ab initio band calculations based on a self-consistent full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave method within the first-principle formalism. Influence of implantation on TiO2 films is examined by the method of UV-visible spectrometry. The results of experiment and calculation show that the optical band gap of TiO2 films is narrowed by ion implantation. The calculation shows that the 3d state of V, Cr and Fe ions plays a significant role in red shift of UV-Vis absorbance spectrum.

This paper discussed two methods to enhance the electrical conductivity of the carbon fiber（CF） electrically conductive concrete. The increase in the content of stone and the amount of water used to dissolve the methylcellulose and marinate the carbon fibers can decrease the electrical resistivity of the electrically conductive concrete effectively. Based on these two methods, the minimum CF content of the CF electrically conductive concrete for deicing or snow-melting application and the optimal ratio of the amount of water to dissolve the methylcellulose and marinate the carbon fibers were obtained.

Software structure is the most important factor affecting the quality of a *** evaluation of software structure is a foundational technique for software ***,the traditional evaluation criteria,such as "high cohesion and low coupling",are no longer appropriate for the new web applications,which are designed with a hierarchical framework.A novel approach is proposed in this paper to evaluate software quality based on the interaction and encapsulation of *** particular,two criteria for high quality software,the functional and hierarchical structure,are proposed to support widely used web *** cohesion and coupling and layer matching ratios between methods within a software package are calculated to determine whether the package is well implemented in terms of functional or hierarchical *** approach enables us to quantify the quality of a software system according to the structural types of its *** were carried out on 1. versions of Struts and six open-source software *** evaluation concurs with the intuition that minor upgrades,aimed at fixing bugs and adding minor functionality quickly,reduce software quality,whereas major upgrades,which normally clean up messy code and re-construct the software,improve software quality.

We calculate the magnetic properties of small Fe N clusters( N =2～7,9,1.,1.) by using a parameterized Hubbard tight binding spd band model Hamiltonian, with the parameters obtained from nonorthogonal Hamiltonian parameters. the average magnetic moments, and the spin polarized charge distribution within clusters are in agreement with those obtained by first principle and tight binding calculations. The effect of the nonorthogonal basis is discussed.
