As a fundamental surface property of two-dimensional(2 D)materials,surface potential is critical for their emerging electronic applications and essential for van der Waals heterostructure ***,we report the surface potential of few-layer *** effect of layer count,light intensity and different deposited substrates is ***-layer InSe flakes were exfoliated from bulk InSe crystals on Si/SiO_(2)with 300-nm-thick thermal oxide and Si/SiO_(2)with 300-nm-thick thermal oxide and prefabricated micro-wells with 3μm in *** samples were measured by Kelvin probe force microscopy and tuned by an integrated 405-nm(3.06 eV)*** on the work function of SiO_(2)(5.00 eV),the work functions of supported and suspended InSe are *** results show that the work function of InSe decreases with the increase in the layer count of both supported InSe and suspended ***,by introducing a tunable laser light,the influence of light intensity on surface potential of supported InSe was *** surface potential(SP)and surface potential shift between light and dark states(ASP=SP_(lignt)-SP_(dark))of supported InSe were measured and *** results present that the surface potential of supported InSe decreases with the increase in the light intensity and also decreases with the increase in the layer *** is evident that light excites electrons,resulting in decreased surface potential,and the amount of electrons excited is correlated with light ***,⊿SP between light and dark states decreases with the increase in the layer count,which suggests that the influence of light illumination decreases with the increase in the layer count of few-layer InSe flakes.

Calculation of magnetic pressure is the basis of application of electromagnetic forming (EMF). This paper carries out a numerical simulation of magnetic pressure under the influence of die by means of finite element method. The analysis model of electromagnetic bulging with die is created by using ANSYS, and the distribution of magnetic pressure acting on the tube and the die is obtained. The differences between EMF and other technologies and the effect of die on tube formability are analyzed. The die has important influence upon the calculation accuracy. The simulating conclusions with different discharge energy and current frequency are verified through the technologic tests. The distribution of magnetic pressure acting on the tube agrees well with the measurements of the deformed tube.

Multiferroics refer to a material system with the coexistence of two or more ferroic orders,such as ferroelastic order,ferroelectric order,and magnetic order [1]. The couplings among different ferroic orders result in the multi-field couplings among mechanical,electric,and magnetic fields,allowing multiferroics to exhibit fascinating multi-functional properties [2]. In particular,the attractive magnetoelectric coupling makes it possible to manipulate polarization by an external magnetic field,or to control magnetization by an external electric field,offering an intriguing mechanism for devices,such as data storage,magnetoelectric sensors,and other potential technological products.

Colonic lipoma is an uncommon tumor of the gastrointestinal tract. Most cases are asymptomatic, with a small tumor size, and do not need any special treatment. However, we encountered one patient with a giant submucosal lipoma, with a maximum diameter of 8.5 cm, which exhibited symptoms such as intermittent lower abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits with passage of fresh blood and mucus per rectum, abdominal distension, anorexia and weight loss. Unfortunately, the possibility of colonic malignancy could not be precluded and leffc hemicolectomy was planned. The exact diagnosis of this special case was accomplished by intraoperative pathology. In the end, local resection was performed instead of left hemicolectomy. To the best of our knowledge, colonic lipoma exceeding 8 cm in diameter has not been previously reported. We, therefore, present this case and discuss age and sex factors, clinical and histopathological findings, diagnostic methods and treatment by reviewing the available literature, to serve as a reminder that colonic lipoma can also exist in patients with significant symptoms. In addition, intraoperative pathology should be investigated in those doubtful cases, so as to guide the exact diagnosis and treatment plan.

Thermal regeneration ofhypercrosslinked polymeric adsorbent （HPA） was performed at 67℃. Experiments were carried out using a multimode microwave oven operating at 2450 MHz and a thermostatic water bath so as to compare the effect of the different heating mechanisms on the regeneration efficiency of the HPA saturated with nitrophenols. The temperature rise action of the heterogeneous regeneration system under microwave irradiation was described. Additionally, a complete structure and chemical characterization of the regenerated HPA was also carried out in order to study the influence of the subsequent regeneration cycles on the structure and the adsorption capacities of the adsorbents. Structure characterization of the regenerated HPA was accomplished by means of the analysis of FTIR spectra.

Since 1980, the white-browed crake（Porzana cinerea） has been experiencing an expansion from south of the Isthmus of Kra, northward to China. Recently, this species was observed in several locations throughout Southwest China, including Ningming and Baise, Guangxi（2012, 2013）, and Xichang, Sichuan（2013）. These sightings are the first distribution record of this species in China's Mainland, suggesting that the white-browed crake is following a natural species dispersal northward into China's Mainland from Southeast Asia.

Incineration is considered one of the most readily available techniques for sewage sludge disposal, including tannery sludge, which often contains significant amounts of volatile heavy metals. The combustion characteristics and kinetic analysis of tannery sludge were investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) at a heating rate of 30 °C/min in 50–950 °C. In addition to confirming that tannery sludge has a high content of volatile material and ash, it was further discovered that almost all the zinc (Zn) in tannery sludge is volatilized at 900 °C. The degree of volatilization for heavy metals at 900 °C followed the order of Zn>Cd>Cu>Mn>Pb>Cr. Moreover, the volatilization of these heavy metals increased with temperature. It is thus concluded that, to avoid heavy metal volatization during incineration disposal, 800 °C is a reasonable incineration temperature.

The diamond-like compound Cu_(3)PSe_(4)with low lattice thermal conductivity is deemed to be a promising thermoelectric material,which can directly convert waste heat into electricity or vice versa with no moving parts and greenhouse ***,its performance is limited by its low electrical *** this study,we report an effective method to enhance thermoelectric performance of Cu_(3)PSe_(4)by defect *** is found that the carrier concentrations of Cu_(3-x)PSe_(4)(x=0,0.03,0.06,0.09,0.12)compounds are increased by two orders of magnitude as x>0.03,from 1×10^(17)to 1×10^(19)cm^(-3).Combined with the intrinsically low lattice thermal conductivities and enhanced electrical transport performance,a maximum zT value of 0.62 is obtained at 727 K for x=0.12 sample,revealing that Cu defect regulation can be an effective method for enhancing thermoelectric performance of Cu_(3)PSe_(4).

The quadrature modulator is a crucial block in transmitters that upconverts baseband signals to theRadio Frequency(RF)band of interest using local oscillator *** this paper,non-ideal factors thatinfluence the performance of the quadrature modulator are considered,and solutions are accordingly taken inthe quadrature modulator design.A high-linear RF quadrature modulator with improved sideband suppressionand carrier leakage performance is presented in this *** quadrature modulator implemented in the0.18-μm SiGe process uses the current bleeding technique to improve the general performance of the doublebalanced active Gilbert *** on-chip prescaler followed by two cascaded limiting amplifiers is designed toprovide accurate quadrature local oscillator *** at quadrature baseband signal input ports areproposed to eliminate DC *** measured sideband suppression achieves a performance of better than−43 dBc and carrier leakage is less than−38 dBm over the output RF frequency range of 30 MHz to 2.15 *** output 1 dB compression point equals 11.4 dBm at 800 MHz.
