Optical camera communication(OCC) is gaining increasing attention in researches. However, applying it to a real-world scenario may encounter many practical problems, such as the communication device may sway or there may be a position offset between the camera and the light source, which may distort the stripes and make the message unreceivable. To this end, we propose pilot-based stripe area estimation(P-SAE) decoding algorithm, and design a pixels rearrangement(PR) scheme and stripes separation logic decision method(SSLD) to improve the decoding performance under sway or receiving position offset. Finally, we build a practical OCC system and carry out experiments to verify the effectiveness of the decoding algorithm. Experimental results show that the lightweight decoding algorithm can resist the impact of smartphone sway and receiving position offset on decoding accuracy.

Background:Patients with mass-forming pancreatitis(MFP)or pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)presented similar clinical symptoms,but required different treatment approaches and had different survival outcomes.This meta-analysis aimed to compare the diagnostic performance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)and contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CECT)in differentiating MFP from PDAC.Methods:A literature search was performed in the PubMed,EMBASE(Ovid),Cochrane Library(CENTRAL),China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Weipu(VIP),and WanFang databases to identify original studies published from inception to August 20,2021.Studies reporting the diagnostic performances of CEUS and CECT for differentiating MFP from PDAC were included.The meta-analysis was performed with Stata 15.0 software.The outcomes included the pooled sensitivity,specificity,positive likelihood ratio(+LR),negative likelihood ratio(-LR),diagnostic odds ratio(DOR),and summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC)curves of CEUS and CECT.Meta-regression was conducted to investigate heterogeneity.Bayesian network meta-analysis was conducted to indirectly compare the overall diagnostic performance.Results:Twenty-six studies with 2115 pancreatic masses were included.The pooled sensitivity and specificity of CEUS for MFP were 82%(95%confidence interval[CI],73%-88%;I^(2)=0.00%)and 95%(95%CI,90%-97%;I^(2)=63.44%),respectively;the overall+LR,-LR,and DOR values were 15.12(95%CI,7.61-30.01),0.19(95%CI,0.13-0.29),and 78.91(95%CI,30.94-201.27),respectively;and the area under the SROC curve(AUC)was 0.90(95%CI,0.87-92).However,the overall sensitivity and specificity of CECT were 81%(95%CI,75-85%;I^(2)=66.37%)and 94%(95%CI,90-96%;I^(2)=74.87%);the overall+LR,-LR,and DOR values were 12.91(95%CI,7.86-21.20),0.21(95%CI,0.16-0.27),and 62.53(95%CI,34.45-113.51),respectively;and,the SROC AUC was 0.92(95%CI,0.90-0.94).The overall diagnostic accuracy of CEUS was comparable to that of CECT for the differential diagnosis of MFP and PDAC(relative DOR 1.26,95%CI[0.

A Combination of N2 and CO2 Adsorption to Characterize Nanopore Structure of Organic-Rich Lower Silurian Shale in the Upper Yangtze Platform, South China： Implications for Shale Gas Sorption Capacity

The pores in shales are mainly of nanometer-scale, and their pore size distribution is very important for the preservation and exploitation of shale gas. This study focused on the organic-rich Lower Silurian black shale from four wells in the Upper Yangtze Platform, and their TOC, mineralogical composition and pore characterization were investigated. Low pressure N2 and CO2 adsorption were conducted at 77.35 K and 273.15 K, respectively, and the pore structures were characterized by modified Brunauer-Emmett-Teller （BET）, Dubinin-Radushkevich （DR）, t-plot, Barrett- Joyner-Halenda （BJH） and density functional theory （DFT） methods and then the relationship between pore structure and shale gas sorption capacity was discussed. The results indicate that （1） The Lower Silurian shale has high TOC content of 0.92%~96%, high quartz content of 30.6%-69.5%, and high clays content of 24.1%-51.2%. The total specific surface area varies from 7.56 m^2/g to 25.86 m^2/g. Both the total specific surface area and quartz content are positively associated with the TOC content. （2） Shale samples with higher TOC content have more micropores, which results in more complex nanopore structure. Micropore volumes/surface areas and non-micropore surface areas all increase with the increasing TOC content. （3） A combination of N2 and CO2 adsorption provides the most suitable detection range （~0.3-60 nm） and has high reliability and accuracy for nanopore structure characterization. （4） The TOC content is the key factor to control the gas sorption capacity of the Lower Silurian shale in the Upper Yangtze Platform.

Numerical modelling for leak oil flow in tunnel of the cave storage

Oil storage in cavern tank is one of the important ways of oil storage.More than 80%of the oil tanks in the cave storage have been used for around 30 years in China and leakage accidents are likely to occur.When it occurs,the motor closing facilities preventing leakage spreading should be set up.The leaking oil flow characteristic in tunnel must be known for setting up the motor closing facilities.Based on the open-channel unsteady flow theory,a numerical model of tank leakage coupling the oil flow in tunnel was developed,and the characteristic line method was used to solve the model under the given initial condition and boundary condition.The variation of the depth and flow rate with time of oil flowing in the tunnel can be obtained.In order to verify the accuracy of model,the measurement data of high accuracy experimental system for unsteady open-channel flow were conducted to compare with the calculation.It fully confirms the high precision of the numerical model and reflects the variation characteristics of each hydraulic parameter in the numerical model of unsteady open channel flow truly.And then,the leaking oil flow characteristic in tunnel was obtained.It is that the farther from the leaking tank,the lower depth and flow rate of the oil in the tunnel revealed.Furthermore,the effect of the size of oil tank crack on the depth and flow rate was investigated.The greater size of crack makes the oil flow rate higher and the oil deeper in the tunnel and flow faster.

Suspended solid abatement in a conical fluidized bed flocculator

With the random movement of silica gel beads in a conical fluidized bed, micro-vortices resulting from the fluidization promoted the collision and aggregation of suspended fine kaolin powders. The abatement efficiencies of the suspended fine solids under several hydrodynamic conditions were studied, and a suitable control strategy for operating the conical fluidized bed flocculators was identified. The suspended solids abatement efficiency was found to increase with increasing Camp Number and flocculation time ( ), but decreased with the increase of velocity gradient ( ) within the range studied in this research (165.1–189.6 s ). The abatement efficiencies were all more than 60% at the range of = 165–180 s and = 15–33 s at an initial kaolin solid concentration of 150 mg·L , polymer aluminum chloride dosage of 60 mg·L and sedimentation time of 20 min. However, the formation of flocs was influenced by the liquid backmixing. Excessive backmixing caused the breakup of flocs and resulted in difficulty for the fine powders to aggregate and sediment to the reactor bottom. The results of the calculated fractal dimension and measured free sedimentation velocity of flocs obtained at different runs showed similar flocs properties, and indicated an easy control strategy for sedimentation of the flocs.

Visualization is a direct,efficient,and simple interface method to realize the interaction between human and machine,whereas the flexible display unit,as the major bottleneck,still deeply hinders the advances of wearable and virtual reality devices.To obtain flexible optoelectronic devices,one of the effective methods is to transfer a high-efficient and long-lifetime inorganic optoelectronic film from its rigid epitaxial substrate to a foreign flexible/soft substrate.Additionally,piezo-phototronic effect is a fundamental theory for guiding the design of flexible optoelectronic devices.Herein,we demonstrate a flexible,stretchable,and transparent InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells(MQWs)/polyacrylamide(PAAM)hydrogel-based light emitting diode coupling with the piezo-phototronic effect.The quantum well energy band and integrated luminous intensity(increased by more than 31.3%)are significantly modulated by external mechanical stimuli in the device.Benefiting from the small Young's modulus of hydrogel and weak Van der Waals force,the composite film can endure an extreme tensile condition of about 21.1%stretching with negligible tensile strains transmitted to the InGaN/GaN MQWs.And the stable photoluminescence characteristics can be observed.Moreover,the hydrogen-bond adsorption and excellent transparency of the hydrogel substrate greatly facilitate the packaging and luminescence of the optoelectronic device.And thus,such a novel integration scheme of inorganic semiconductor materials and organic hydrogel materials would help to guide the robust stretchable optoelectronic devices,and show great potential in emerging wearable devices and virtual reality applications.

Glutamate(Glu)has been reported to be closely related to the pathophysiology of Tic Disorders(TD).By using proton mag-netic resonance spectroscopy(1H-MRS),we aimed to investigate the relationship between in vivo Glu levels and the severity of TD.We performed a cross-sectional study in medication-free patients with TD and healthy controls aged between 5 and 13 years using 1H-MRS at 3 T.First,we measured the Glu levels in both patients and controls and observed the difference in subgroups,including mild TD patients and moderate TD patients.We then examined the correlations between the Glu levels and clinical features of the patients.Finally,we assessed the diagnostic value of 1H-MRS and the influencing factors.Our results show that the Glu levels in the striatum of all patients with TD were not significantly different from those of the healthy controls.Subgroup analysis revealed that the Glu levels in the moderate TD group were higher than those in the mild TD group and healthy controls.The correlation analysis showed that Glu levels are strongly positive correlated with TD severity.The optimal cutoff value of Glu levels to differentiate mild tics from moderate tics was 1.244,with a sensitivity of 88.2%and a specificity of 94.7%.Multiple linear regression models revealed that the severity of TD is one of the important factors that affect Glu levels.We conclude that Glu levels are mainly associated with the severity of tics,thus it could serve as a key biomarker for TD classification.
