Objective:To delineate the onset and recurrence characteristics of noncardiogenic ischemic stroke patients in China.Methods:A prospective,multicenter and registry study was carried out in 2,558 patients at 7 representative clinical sub-centers during November 3,2016 to February 17,2019.A questionnaire was used to collect information of patients regarding CM syndromes and constitutions and associated risk factors.Additionally,stroke recurrence was defined as a primary outcome indicator.Results:A total of 327(12.78%)patients endured recurrence events,1,681(65.72%)patients were men,and the average age was 63.33±9.45 years.Totally 1,741(68.06%)patients suffered first-ever ischemic stroke,1,772(69.27%)patients reported to have hypertension,and1,640(64.11%)of them reported dyslipidemia,1,595(62.35%)patients exhibited small-artery occlusion by The Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment(TOAST)classification.Specifically,1,271(49.69%)patients were considered as qi-deficient constitution,and 1,227(47.97%)patients were determined as stagnant blood constitution.There were 1,303(50.94%)patients diagnosed as blood stasis syndrome,1,280(50.04%)patients exhibited phlegm and dampness syndrome and 1,012(39.56%)patients demonstrated qi deficiency syndrome.And 1,033(40.38%)patients declared intracranial artery stenosis,and 478(18.69%)patients reported carotid artery stenosis.The plaque in 1,508(41.36%)patients were of mixed.Particularly,41.09%of them demonstrated abnormal levels of glycated hemoglobin(HbA1 c)levels.Conclusions:Recurrence in minor and small-artery stroke cannot be ignored.Hypertension,dyslipidemia,abnormal HbA1 c,intracranial artery stenosis and carotid plaque were more common in stroke patients.Particularly,phlegm-dampness and blood stasis syndromes,as well as qi deficiency and blood stasis constitutions,were still the main manifestations of stroke.(Trial registration at ClinicalTrials.gov,No.NCT03174535)

Effect of dietary supplementation with mulberry(Morus alba L.) leaves on the growth performance,meat quality and antioxidative capacity of finishing pigs

The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary mulberry(Morus alba L.) leaves powder(MLP) supplementation on meat quality of finishing pigs.A total of 40 Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire pigs(initial body weight of(40.5±0.63) kg) were randomly allotted into two treatments,fed either with control diet or 15% MLP diet for 85 d.The results showed that MLP diet decreased(P≤0.05) average daily gain(ADG) and increased(P<0.05) feed/gain ratio(F/G) in the finishing and whole period.MLP diet also decreased(P<0.05) carcass weight,dressing percentage,last rib and average backfat depth.However,MLP diet increased(P<0.05) intramuscular fat(IMF) content,decreased(P<0.05) shear force,cooking loss and drip loss.In addition,MLP diet increased(P<0.05) total antioxidative capacity,glutathione peroxidase and tended(P<0.10) to increase total superoxide dismutase in serum.In longissimus thoracis,myosin heavy chain(MyHC) I and IIa mRNA levels were increased(P≤0.05) for MLP diet.In conclusion,15% MLP supplementation reduced the growth performance and carcass traits,but improved meat quality of finishing pigs possibly through the change of myofiber characteristics,enhancement of antioxidative capacity and increase of IMF.

Using bidirectional links to improve peer-to-peer lookup performance

Efficient lookup is essential for peer-to-peer networks and Chord is a representative peer-to-peer lookup scheme based on distributed hash table (DHT). In peer-to-peer networks, each node maintains several unidirectional application layer links to other nodes and forwards lookup messages through such links. This paper proposes use of bidirectional links to improve the lookup performance in Chord. Every original unidirectional link is replaced by a bidirectional link, and accordingly every node becomes an anti-finger of all its finger nodes. Both theoretical analyses and experimental results indicate that these anti-fingers can help improve the lookup performance greatly with very low overhead.

利用证据图系统梳理近5年中成药治疗2型糖尿病(T2DM)的随机对照试验(RCT),了解该领域证据分布及质量,发现现有治疗T2DM中成药及其研究存在的问题。收集3种药物目录中关于治疗T2DM的常用中成药;检索中、英文数据库,获取相关中成药近5年的RCT;提取文献样本量、研究药物、联合用药、疗程、结局指标等;依据Cochrane协作网偏倚风险评估工具进行质量评价;采用图、表展示结果。共收集19种中成药,其中13种发表了RCT,共131篇;文献占比较大的是参芪降糖胶囊/颗粒、津力达颗粒、消渴丸;结局指标包括血糖、血脂、胰岛细胞功能、临床症状等;文献质量方面,75篇随机方法正确,1篇执行了分配隐藏及盲法。结果表明,治疗T2DM的中成药临床定位宽泛,无法体现各自特色,且安全性信息不足;体现中医特色的中医证候积分、生活质量,以及血脂结局指标关注度不足;治疗T2DM中成药各品种间研究数量差异较大,且研究质量偏低。建议治疗T2DM的中成药上市许可持有人按照国家药品监督管理局相关要求,开展中成药品种上市后评价,规范临床定位,修订完善说明书中的安全性信息;建议研究人员构建中成药治疗T2DM的核心指标数据集,完善疗效评价体系,在开展RCT前,参照CONSORT制定试验方案。

提出了一种基于光纤Sagnac干涉仪用于多点局部放电超声检测的光纤传感系统。该超声检测系统由光源、单模光纤延迟线、光纤耦合器、相位调制器、偏振控制器和对比度为1的光纤Sagnac干涉仪组成。首先介绍了传感系统的超声检测的原理,然后搭建了模拟局部放电超声实验平台,利用Nd∶YAG激光器照射钢板激发出的表面波和高频声源,针对局部放电超声在钢板和变压绝缘油中的传播情况进行了实验。实验结果证明了使用该系统用于局部放电超声检测的有效性,在100 kHz~200 kHz频率范围内,信噪比可达40 dB以上,同时实验验证了该Sagnac传感器对局部放电超声的多点检测能力。该光纤超声检测系统结构简单,频率响应高,成本低廉在局部放电等领域有着巨大潜力。

Neuromorphic computing systems,which mimic the operation of neurons and synapses in the human brain,are seen as an appealing next-generation computing method due to their strong and efficient computing abilities.Two-dimensional (2D) materials with dangling bond-free surfaces and atomic-level thicknesses have emerged as promising candidates for neuromorphic computing hardware.As a result,2D neuromorphic devices may provide an ideal platform for developing multifunctional neuromorphic applications.Here,we review the recent neuromorphic devices based on 2D material and their multifunctional applications.The synthesis and next micro–nano fabrication methods of 2D materials and their heterostructures are first introduced.The recent advances of neuromorphic 2D devices are discussed in detail using different operating principles.More importantly,we present a review of emerging multifunctional neuromorphic applications,including neuromorphic visual,auditory,tactile,and nociceptive systems based on 2D devices.In the end,we discuss the problems and methods for 2D neuromorphic device developments in the future.This paper will give insights into designing 2D neuromorphic devices and applying them to the future neuromorphic systems.

A privileged strategy has been developed for the precise construction of enantioenriched azaspiro polycyclic scaffolds.Structurally diverse azaspiro polycycles bearing multiple contiguous stereocenters are obtained with excellent results(up to 99:1 e.r.,>95:5 d.r.) via sequential enantioselective four-component Ugi reactions/post-Ugi transformations with substrates containing prerequisite functional groups in the presence of anionic stereogenic-at-cobalt(Ⅲ) complexes.

Aberrant protamination in sperm correlates to anomalous nuclear and cytoplasmic architectures in infertile males with sperm dysmorphology

Aberrant sperm protamination is linked to sperm dysmorphology and nuclear chromatin condensation.Yet,its effects on sperm cytoplasmic maturation remain largely unexplored.The relationships of protamines,sperm morphology,DNA damage,and cytoplasmic remodeling were illustrated in this study to provide fresh perspectives on the mechanisms of male infertility.A total of 205 infertile males were allocated into 5 groups according to the percentage of spermatozoa exhibiting abnormal morphology within their samples.Sperm concentration,motility,abnormal sperm morphology,cytoplasmic droplets(CDs),and excess residual cytoplasm(ERC)were analyzed according to the World Health Organization manual(2010).Sperm nuclear vacuoles(NVs)were determined by propidium iodide(PI)staining.Sperm protamine expressions(P1 and P2)were detected by western blot.DNA damage was measured by acridine orange test(AOT)to calculate the proportion of sperm with single-strand DNA breaks(SSBs).Our data showed that sperm concentration and motility in infertile males significantly decreased with the severity of abnormal sperm morphology(both P<0.01).P1 level,P1/P2 ratio,and SSB rate increased with the severity of sperm dysmorphology,whilst the P2 level decreased(all P

The Effect of Blending Ratio on the Structure and Properties of the PPR/PS In situ Fiber Reinforced System Prepared by Multi-Flow Vibration Injection Molding

To enhance the mechanical properties of polypropylene random copolymer(PPR),polystyrene(PS)with four different contents were added to the PPR matrix through melt blending.Subsequently,using the Multi-Flow Vibration Injection Molding(MFVIM)technology,PPR/PS in situ microfiber composites(MFC)with different blending ratios were prepared.The results indicated that blending ratio had a great impact on the phase morphology and crystal structure of MFVIM samples,which was different from those of conventional injection molding(CIM)samples.PS ultrafine fibers could be formed under the shear field and could absorb the PPR molecular chains to form hybrid shish-kebab structures.Meanwhile,the PPR matrix could also form shish-kebab structures under the effect of strong shear.When the PS content reached 20%,under the combined action of PS in situ microfibers and highly oriented crystal structure,the tensile strength and Young’s modulus of the sample were obviously improved and the impact strength remained at a relatively high level.So a strong and tough balanced PPR based material was obtained.These results provide valuable insights for expanding the industrial and daily-life applications of PPR and show promising development prospects.

Insights into the history and tendency of glycosylation and digestive system tumor:A bibliometric-based visual analysis

BACKGROUND Glycosylation,a commonly occurring post-translational modification,is highly expressed in several tumors,specifically in those of the digestive system,and plays a role in various cellular pathophysiological mechanisms.Although the importance and detection methods of glycosylation in digestive system tumors have garnered increasing attention in recent years,bibliometric analysis of this field remains scarce.The present study aims to identify the developmental trends and research hotspots of glycosylation in digestive system tumors.AIM To find and identify the developmental trends and research hotspots of glycosylation in digestive system tumors.METHODS We obtained relevant literature from the Web of Science Core Collection and employed VOSviewer 1.6.19 and CiteSpace(version 6.1.R6)to perform bibliometric analysis.RESULTS A total of 2042 documents spanning from 1978 to the present were analyzed,with the research process divided into three phases:the period of obscurity(1978-1990),continuous development period(1991-2006),and the rapid outbreak period(2007-2023).These documents were authored by researchers from 66 countries or regions,with the United States and China leading in terms of publication output.Reis Celso A had the highest number of publications,while Pinho SS was the most cited author.Co-occurrence analysis revealed the most popular keywords in this field are glycosylation,expression,cancer,colorectal cancer,and pancreatic cancer.Furthermore,the Journal of Proteome Research was the most prolific journal in terms of publications,while the Journal of Biological Chemistry had the most citations.CONCLUSION The bibliometric analysis shows current research focus is primarily on basic research in this field.However,future research should aim to utilize glycosylation as a target for treating tumor patients.
