Microplastics(MPs)have become a significant concern for their potential ***,the correlation between the size of plastic particles and their toxicity remains ***,we investigate the toxic effects of different sizes(80 nm,800 nm,8μm and 80μm)polystyrene MPs(PS-MPs)on the model organism Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus).The results of bioluminescent imaging indicate that the 80 nm PS-MPs are more likely to invade the body.H&E staining shows severe damage on the intestinal villi and distinct hepatic steatosis in the 80 nm *** U labeling shows that the proliferation activity of intestinal and liver cells reduces significantly in the 80 nm *** gut microbiome analysis shows a severe imbalance of gut microbiota homeostasis in the 80 nm *** analysis of liver transcriptomics and metabolomics shows that the liver lipid metabolism is disordered in the 80 nm *** conclusion,this study confirms that the 80 nm PS-MPs are more likely to induce intestinal and liver *** the above lay the foundation for further study on the pathological damage of MPs to other organisms.

Glucose plays a vital part in milk protein synthesis through the mTOR signaling pathway in bovine mammary epithelial cells (BMEC). The objectives of this study were to determine how glucose affects hexokinase (HK) activity in BMEC and investigate the regulatory effect of HK in kappa casein (CSN3) synthesis via the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) signaling pathway in BMEC. For this,HK1 andHK2 were knocked out in BMEC using the CRISPR/Cas9 system. The gene and protein expression, glucose uptake, and cell proliferation were measured. We found that glucose uptake, cell proliferation,CSN3 gene expression levels, and expression of HK1 and HK2 increased with increasing glucose concentrations. Notably, glucose uptake was significantly reduced inHK2 knockout (HK2KO) BMEC treated with 17.5 mM glucose. Moreover, under the same glucose treatment conditions, the proliferative ability and abundance of CSN3 were significantly diminished in bothHK1 knockout (HK1KO) and HK2KO BMEC compared with that in wild-type BEMC. We further observed that the phosphorylation levels of ribosome protein subunit 6 kinase 1 (S6K1) were reduced in HK1KO and HK2KO BMEC following treatment with 17.5 mM glucose. As expected, the levels of glucose-6-phosphate and the mRNA expression levels of glycolysis-related genes were decreased in both HK1KO and HK2KO BMEC following glucose treatment. The data of this research was mainly collected from the Web of Science (WOS) and Incites database platform, which was filtered and cataloged according to the different platforms. For tracing the change in scientific research at Shanghai Ocean University, make use of Bibliometric analysis to get the image and table of highly cited papers and hot papers. In this study, the scientific aspects in highly cited papers and hot papers, published in the last year in the core collection of Web of Science, were taken as objects, and office software was used as the main tool to carry out bibliometric and figure analysis. From the four aspects to find the difference in these fields, the production of specific fields and cited times is inconsistent. And suggest the department and management adjust the policy and method via elastic personnel and rewards to prompt the advancement of the research fields.

The high stretchability of two-dimensional(2D)materials has facilitated the possibility of using external strain to manipulate their ***,strain engineering has emerged as a promising technique for tailoring the performance of 2D materials by controlling the applied elastic strain *** various types of strain engineering methods have been proposed,deterministic and controllable generation of the strain in 2D materials remains a challenging ***,we report a nanoimprint-induced strain engineering(NISE)strategy for introducing controllable periodic strain profiles on 2D materials.A three-dimensional(3D)tunable strain is generated in a molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))sheet by pressing and conforming to the topography of an imprint *** strain profiles generated in MoS_(2)are demonstrated and verified by Raman and photoluminescence(PL)*** strain modulation capability of NISE is investigated by changing the imprint pressure and the patterns of the imprint molds,which enables precise control of the strain magnitudes and distributions in MoS_(2).Furthermore,a finite element model is developed to simulate the NISE process and reveal the straining behavior of MoS_(2).This deterministic and effective strain engineering technique can be easily extended to other materials and is also compatible with common semiconductor fabrication processes;therefore,it provides prospects for advances in broad nanoelectronic and optoelectronic devices.

We report on using synthetic silicon for a high-precision X-ray polarimeter comprising a polarizer and an analyzer,each based on a monolithic channel-cut crystal used at multiple Brewster reflections with a Bragg angle very close to 45°.Experiments were performed at the BL09B bending magnet beamline of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility using a Si(800)crystal at an X-ray energy of 12.914 keV.A polarization purity of 8.4×10^(-9)was *** result is encouraging,as the measured polarization purity is the best-reported value for the bending magnet ***,this is the firstly systematic study on the hard X-ray polarimeter in China,which is crucial for exploring new physics,such as verifying vacuum birefringence.
