Electro-elastic features of YBa3(PO_(4))3 and YbBa3(PO_(4))3 crystals with pure face-shear mode for acoustic wave sensor applications

The fundamental shear horizontal(SH0)waves have been proved to be a very useful method for nondestructive testing due to their non-dispersive ***,although several methods have been proposed to generate SH0 waves,it is still a challenge to obtain pure SH0 wave mode ***,in this study,non-centrosymmetric YBa3(PO_(4))3(YBP)and YbBa3(PO_(4))3(YbBP)crystals with pure face-shear mode were grown via the traditional Czochralski pulling method at temperatures above 1800℃.High resolution X-ray diffraction was carried out to evaluate the crystalline *** showed that the YBP and YbBP crystals were of good quality,with the full width at half-maxima being on the order of 42.500 and 52.300,***,the full set of electro-elastic constants for the YBP and YbBP crystals were determined and collated using a combination of impedance and pulse-echo *** piezoelectric coefficient(d14)of the YBP and YbBP crystals were determined to be 10.6 pC/N and 11.4 pC/N,respectively,corresponding to the electromechanical coupling coefficient(k14)equal to 15.4%and 15.9%,exhibiting large and pure face-shear vibration ***,these results indicate that the YBP and YbBP crystals are promising for acoustic wave sensing application.

During oxygen evolution reaction(OER),complex changes have been reported on surfaces of bimetallic Fe-Ni-based catalysts,and regulating the dynamic evolution could improve their electrocatalytic ***,a pyrrolidone-promoted reconstruction of pentlandite was investigated to uncover the correlation between the reconstructed surface and the OER *** theoretical calculations indicated the preferential implantation of pyrrolidone at Fe atoms,useful for regulating the electronic structures of *** vale nce state of Ni increased,suggesting the promotion of the in-situ reconstruction of pentlandite via strengthening hydroxyl adsorption to generate highly active *** electron-rich pentlandite was also found conducive to charge transfer under applied *** Operando Raman and various quasi-in-situ characterizations confirmed the realization of more delocalized electronic structures of pentlandite by introducing ***,in turn,promoted the accumulation of hydroxyl groups on the pentlandite surface,thereby boosting the formation of highly active NiOOH at lower OER ***,the adsorption energies of intermediates were optimized,conducive to enhanced OER reaction *** a proof of concept,the pentlandite decorated by pyrrolidone exhibited an overpotential as low as 265 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2) coupled with stable catalysis for 1000 hours at a high current density of 100 mA cm^(-2).In sum,new insights into unlocking the high catalytic activity of bimetallic Fe-Ni-based catalysts were provided,promising for future synthesis of advanced catalysts.

It is challenging for precise governing of electronic configuration of the individually-atomic catalysts toward optimal electrocatalysis,as d-band configuration of a metal center determines the adsorption behavior of reactive species to the center in oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).The addition of Cu atom modifies the d-band center position of Fe central atom,thus strengthening the d-π*orbital ***,FeCu-NC catalyst in the nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)support containing individual dual-metal CuN4/FeN4 sites was prepared by the surface confinement strategy of zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF),treated as a model *** and theoretically co-verified dual-metal CuN4/FeN4 sites highly dispersed in the NC support,enable transferring more electrons from FeN4 sites to*OH intermediates,thereby accelerating the desorption process of*OH *** to those commercial Pt/C,Our FeCu-NC catalyst exhibited extraordinary ORR activity(with a E1/2 as high as 0.87 V)and cycling stability in 0.1 M KOH electrolyte,and thereof demonstrated excellent discharge performance in zinc-air *** construction of dual-atom catalysts(DACs)provides a strategy for atom-by-atom designing high-efficiency catalysts via orbital regulation.

Contaminations of Heavy Metals in Surface Soils of Various Lands and Their Health Risks in Tianjin Qilihai Ancient Lagoon Wetlands,China

A total of 36 surface soil profiles were set at the wetlands in Qilihai Ancient Lagoon Wetlands,Tianjin,the surface soils of 0-20 cm depth were sampled at various use types of lands to provide information on the concentrations of heavy metals in the coastal *** concentrations of arsenic(As),cadmium(Cd),copper(Cu),lead(Pb),chromium(Cr)and zinc(Zn)were determined using inductively coupled plasma atomic absorption spectrometry(ICP-AES)to address the pollution levels in the sampling *** results showed that the concentrations of Cd,Cu in the soils disturbed by human activities intensively,the Phragmites australis marshes,the farmland,the brushes decreased in turn;among the sites,the concentrations of As,Cd and Cu were the highest in the soil of build-up areas,while the concentrations of Pb and Zn were the higher in the soil of *** mean concentrations of Cu,Cr,Cd,Pb,Zn and As in the soils of 0-20 cm depth were 38.74 mg/kg,83.52 mg/kg,0.19 mg/kg,34.27 mg/kg,121.7 mg/kg and 18.77 mg/kg,*** contamination indices of As were on the high pollution level in the soils of farmland and disturbed by human activities intensively;the concentrations of Cd in the soils of the marshes and farmland were at the moderate pollution level,while that in the soil disturbed by human activities intensively was at high pollution *** values of comprehensive contamination index demonstrated that the variation of As contents was the maximum in the soils,Cd pollution reached to a high *** index showed that As pollution was at moderate level,and Cd,Cu and Zn pollution were at slight level,and the Pb and Cr pollution wasn't found in the build-up areas.

Previous studies have shown that nicorandil has a protective effect on ***,there is no study to investigate whether perioperative intravenous nicorandil can further reduce the myocardial infarct size in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)compared to the current standard of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)*** CHANGE(China-Administration of Nicorandil Group)study is a multicenter,prospective,randomized,double-blind and parallel-controlled clinical study of STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI in China,aiming to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous nicorandil in ameliorating the myocardial infarct size in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI and provide evidence-based support for myocardial protection strategies of STEMI patients.

Control System Design and Implementation at Flexible, Distributed Offshore Sensor Test Sites in the Yangtze Estuary Area

Marine in situ testing is a necessary step for stereotyping newly developed marine sensors. The use of test sites in the Yangtze Estuary area, which has high turbidity and abundant nutrients, can effectively reduce the needed testing time owing to its harsh conditions. Five test stations were established, and a floating buoy and fixed test equipment were designed. A control system, including a sensor connection, data processor, video remote transmission, and corresponding control algorithm, was developed. The control system enabled the nondestructive monitoring of biological attachments and bidirectional, real-time communication between an upper server on land and the control system at the test sites. The dissolved oxygen(DO), temperature, and pH data of DOS600 and DPS600 sensors were compared with those of AP2000 sensors. Temperature recording using the DOS600 sensor was performed nearly as well as that of the AP2000 sensor. The mean DO values(standard deviations) were 8.414 mg L-1(2.068) and 6.896 mg L-1(1.235) for the DOS600 and AP2000 sensors, respectively, indicating that the DOS600 performance was unsatisfactory. The pH recording of the DPS600 was slightly worse than that of the AP2000 sensor. Experimental results showed that the DO value was more easily affected by the buoy movement of waves compared to the pH and temperature. Moreover, data fluctuations showed that the DO and pH parameters were more vulnerable to biofouling than temperature. Waves and biofouling create a harsh test environment, and the performance difference between the developed sensors and a standard sensor can be obtained in a short time period.
