AQDS Enhances Degradation of BDE-47 by Promoting Shewanella oneidensis MR-1-mediated Fenton Reaction with Fe(III)-containing Minerals

Electron shuttles are widespread in the environments and play important role in microbe-mineral interaction. This study investigated the effects of a model electron shuttle (i.e.， anthraquinone-2， 6-disulfonate， AQDS) on Shewanella oneidensis MR-1-mediated Fenton reaction and subsequent degradation of 2， 2′， 4， 4′-tetrabrominated diphenyl ether (BDE-47). Three Fe(III)-containing minerals， namely， ferrihydrite， goethite and nontronite， were used as electron acceptors and Fe(II) sources. With each mineral， additions of 0.01 – 1 mM AQDS in the reactions significantly enhanced Fe(III) reduction by S. oneidensis MR-1 and increased the amounts of Fe(II) produced in anoxic phase. As a result， the amounts of cumulative ·OH formed in oxic phase were increased by 10% – 287%. Regression analysis revealed that ·OH cumulation has significant linear correlation with sorbed Fe(II) but not aqueous and structural Fe(II). This finding may be ascribed to the higher reactivity of sorbed Fe(II) in oxygenation than the latter two types of Fe(II). With more ·OH， the degradation efficiency of BDE-47 was elevated by 31% – 173%. Collectively， AQDS enhances ·OH formation and BDE-47 degradation by promoting production of Fe(II)， particularly sorbed Fe(II) in S. oneidensis MR-1-mediated Fenton reaction with Fe(III)-containing minerals.

In this paper,we introduce the weighted multilinear p-adic Hardy operator and weighted multilinear p-adic Ces`aro operator,we also obtain the boundedness of these two operators on the product of p-adic Herz spaces and p-adic Morrey-Herz spaces,the corresponding operator norms are also established in each ***,the boundedness of commutators of these two operators with symbols in central bounded mean oscillation spaces and Lipschitz spaces on p-adic Morrey-Herz spaces are also given.

SbVO4 based high capacity potassium anode:a combination of conversion and alloying reactions

Thermodynamic Calculation of Inclusion Formation in Mg-Al-Si-O System of 430 Stainless Steel Melts

A phase diagram was drawn through thermodynamic calculation to understand the equilibrium conditions of 2MgO · SiO2 , MgO · Al2O3 , 3Al2O3 · 2SIO2, and 2MgO·2Al2O3 · 5SiO2 formation in Mg-AI-Si-O system of 430 stainless steel melts at 1873 K. Further, the thermodynamic formation and transformation conditions of MgO · Al2O3 inclusion were discussed. The following results are obtained when ws, =0.26% and wo = 1.0 × 10^-5 in molten steel. The uniphase cordierite inclusion is difficult to exist stably; MgO· At203 inclusion cannot he formed in case of wAl being less than 1× 10^- 6 ; 3Al2O3 · 2SiO2 would change to MgO· Al2O3 and 2MgO · SiO2 in turn with increasing the Mg content when wAl is above 1.7× 10^- 6 ; with the formation of MgO · Al2O3 inclusion, A1 content increases with increasing Mg content when wMg is over 1. 7 × 10^- 9. For equilibrium condition and calculated steel composition, 2MgO·SiO2 inclusion would be formed ultimately and MgO · Al2O3 is almost inexistent.

A simulation method on target strength and circular SAS imaging of Xrudder UUV including multiple acoustic scattering

Target strength(TS)and circular synthetic aperture sonar(CSAS)images provide essential information for active acoustic detection and recognition of non-cooperative unmanned undersea vehicles(UUVs),which pose a significant threat to underwater preset *** access them,we propose an iterative physical acoustics(IPA)-based method to simulate the multiple acoustic scattered fields on rigid surfaces in high-frequency *** uses the Helmholtz integral equation with an appropriate Green's function in terms of the Neumann series,and then incorporates the ideas of triangulation and iteration into a numerical *** two approximate analytic formulae with precise physical meanings are derived to predict the TS and CSAS images of concave targets,*** are no restrictions on the surface's curvature and the order of multiple *** method is validated against the finite element method(FEM)for acoustic scattering from a sphere segment and against an experiment involving an X-rudder UUV's *** this basis,we simulate and analyze the TS and CSAS images of an X-rudder *** addition,the influence of the angle of adjacent rudders on the multiple scattering characteristics is *** show that this method can potentially predict accurate UUV features,especially the multiple scattered features.

We show that a connected uniform hypergraph G is odd-bipartite if and only if G has the same Laplacian and signless Laplacian Z-eigenvalues. We obtain some bounds for the largest （signless） Laplacian Z-eigenvalue of a hypergraph. For a k-uniform hyperstar with d edges （2d ≥ k ≥ 3）, we show that its largest （signless） Laplacian Z-eigenvalue is d.

Phylogeography and Cryptic Species Diversity of Paramesotriton caudopunctatus Species Group(Salamandridae: Paramesotriton) in Guizhou, China

The Paramesotriton caudopunctatus species group is mainly distributed in the karst mountain ecosystems of Guizhou, China. Although some species have been included in previous phylogenetic studies, the evolutionary relationships and divergence-time of members of this species group as a whole remain unexplored. In this study, we report the sequencing of one protein coding mitochondrial gene fragment(ND2) and one nuclear gene(POMC), and use a combination of phylogenetic analyses and coalescent simulations to explore the cryptic diversity and evolutionary history of the P. caudopunctatus species group. Phylogenetic relationships revealed that the P. caudopunctatus species group is composed of two major groups, i. e., East Clade and Western-South Clade. The divergence-time and ancestral area estimation suggested that the P. caudopunctatus species group likely originated in the Doupeng Mountains in Guizhou, China at 12.34 Ma(95% HPD: 8.30–14.73), and intraspecific divergence began at about 2.17 Ma(95% HPD: 1.39–2.97). This timing coincides with the orogenesis of the Miaoling Mountains during the Late Miocene to early Pleistocene. The delimitation of species in the P. caudopunctatus species group supports the existence of the currently identified species, and consensus was confirmed across methods for the existence of least to two cryptic species within what has been traditionally considered to be P. caudopunctatus species group. This study is of significance for understanding the species formation, dispersal, and diversity of the tailed amphibians in the karst mountains ecosystem of Guizhou and the role of the Miaoling Mountains as a geographical barrier to species dispersal.
