A self\|assembled monolayer film(SAM) of ruthenium phthalocyanine(RuPc) fabricated on a silver substrate premodified with an SAM of terephthalonitrile(TPN) was studied by means of surface\|enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) and ultraviolet\|visible(UV\|Vis) spectroscopies. TPN was used as a ligand to link RuPc since it can not only modify the silver substrate but also deliver the nitrile groups protruding from the silver surface. Therefore,we can explore the relationship between the structure and the orientation of RuPc and the TPN\|modified substrate. The UV\|Vis spectra indicate a strong interaction between RuPc and TPN in the composite film. The result is further confirmed by the SERS spectra of RuPc\|TPN SAM,in which the vibrational bands arising from both the RuPc and TPN moieties appear clearly,indicating that the RuPc is successfully assembled on the TPN film.

目的探讨黄芪-莪术-重楼配伍对巨噬细胞极化的影响及其抑制结直肠癌细胞增殖、迁移的作用机制。方法使用佛波酯(Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate,PMA)和白细胞介素-4(Interleukin-4,IL-4)刺激THP-1细胞建立M2型巨噬细胞极化模型。实验分为M0组(PMA处理)、M2组(PMA+IL-4处理)、M2+黄芪-莪术-重楼组(PMA+IL-4+黄芪-莪术-重楼配伍处理)。CCK-8检测黄芪-莪术-重楼配伍冻干粉对巨噬细胞活力影响;qPCR和Western blot检测巨噬细胞极化标志物、谷氨酰胺酶(Glutaminase,GLS)mRNA和蛋白表达;ELISA检测细胞上清白细胞介素-10(Interleukin-10,IL-10)、转化生长因子-β(Transforming growth factor-β,TGF-β)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(Tumor necrosis factor-α,TNF-α)含量;CCK-8和Transwell实验检测黄芪-莪术-重楼配伍干预巨噬细胞的培养上清,即条件培养基(Conditioned medium,CM),对结直肠癌细胞HCT116增殖和迁移能力影响。结果与M0组相比,M2组IL-10、甘露糖受体(Mannose receptor,CD206)、精氨酸酶1(Arginase 1,ARG1)、GLS mRNA和蛋白表达显著升高(P<0.01,P<0.001),巨噬细胞分泌IL-10、TGF-β水平显著升高(P<0.01,P<0.001);与M2组相比,M2+黄芪-莪术-重楼配伍组IL-10、CD206、ARG1、GLS mRNA和蛋白表达显著降低(P<0.05,P<0.01),TNF-α、诱导型一氧化氮合酶(Inducible nitric oxide synthase,iNOS)mRNA和蛋白表达显著升高(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001),白细胞介素-1β(Interleukin-1β,IL-1β)mRNA表达水平显著升高(P<0.01),细胞上清中IL-10、TGF-β水平显著降低(P<0.05,P<0.01),TNF-α水平显著升高(P<0.01)。CCK-8和Transwell结果显示,与M0-CM组相比,M2-CM组促进HCT116细胞增殖和迁移(P<0.01,P<0.001),M2+黄芪-莪术-重楼-CM组较M2-CM组显著抑制HCT116细胞增殖并使细胞迁移数显著减少(P<0.01,P<0.001)。结论黄芪-莪术-重楼配伍可通过调控巨噬细胞极化,抑制结直肠癌细胞增殖、迁移,其机制可能与谷氨酰胺代谢关键酶GLS表达变化有关。

Selenium is an essential trace element for humans and animals.As the active center of selenoproteins,the addition of selenium is beneficial to enhance the antioxidant ability.However,the high cost limits the application of organic Se in agriculture animal production.Selenized glucose(SeGlu)is a newly invented organoselenium material with good stability,low toxicity and low cost.This assay found that SeGlu was able to increase selenium deposition in liver of newborn broilers,and enhance the antioxidant capacity of liver by elevating the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as total superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase.This paper as the first example clarifying the mechanism of SeGlu to enhance the antioxidant ability of chicks,shows that SeGlu can be used as an organic selenium enrichment additive for early nutrition of poultry.As a cross-discipline study involving chemistry,biology and agriculture animal science,the work may be beneficial for studies in related fields and prompt the development of the selenium science.

Detecting changes in surface air temperature in mid-and low-altitude mountainous regions is essential for a comprehensive understanding of warming trend with altitude.We use daily surface air temperature data from 64 meteorological stations in Wuyi Mountains and its adjacent regions to analyze the spatio-temporal patterns of temperature change.The results show that Wuyi Mountains have experienced significant warming from 1961 to 2018.The warming trend of the mean temperature is 0.20℃/decade,the maximum temperature is 0.17℃/decade,and the minimum temperature is 0.26℃/decade.In 1961-1990,more than 63%of the stations showed a decreasing trend in annual mean temperature,mainly because the maximum temperature decreased during this period.However,in 1971-2000,1981-2010 and 1991-2018,the maximum,minimum and mean temperatures increased.The fastest increasing trend of mean temperature occurred in the southeastern coastal plains,the quickest increasing trend of maximum temperature occurred in the northwestern mountainous region,and the increase of minimum temperature occurred faster in the southeastern coastal and northwestern mountainous regions than that in the central area.Meanwhile,this study suggests that elevation does not affect warming in the Wuyi Mountains.These results are beneficial for understanding climate change in humid subtropical middle and low mountains.

Hierarchical Spinning of Janus Textiles with Anisotropic Wettability for Wound Healing

Wound healing and tissue repair are recognized as basic human health problems worldwide.Attempts to accelerate the reparative process are focused on developing functional wound dressings.Herein,we present novel Janus textiles with anisotropic wettability from hierarchical microfluidic spinning for wound healing.The hydrophilic hydrogel microfibers from microfluidics are woven into textiles for freeze-drying treatment,followed by the deposition of electrostatic spinning nanofibers composed of hydrophobic polylactic acid(PLA)and silver nanoparticles.The electrospun nanofiber layer can be well coupled with the hydrogel microfiber layer to generate Janus textiles with anisotropic wettability due to the roughness of the hydrogel textile surface and the incomplete evaporation of PLA solution when reaching the surface.For wound treatment with the hydrophobic PLA side contacting the wound surface,the wound exudate can be pumped from the hydrophobic to the hydrophilic side based on the wettability differential derived drainage force.During this process,the hydrophobic side of the Janus textile can prevent excess fluid from infiltrating the wound again,preventing excessive moisture and preserving the breathability of the wound.In addition,the silver nanoparticles contained in the hydrophobic nanofibers could impart the textiles with good antibacterial effect,which further promote the wound healing efficiency.These features indicate that the described Janus fiber textile has great application potential in the field of wound treatment.

Recently,various algorithms have been developed for generating appealing music.However,the style control in the generation process has been somewhat overlooked.Music style refers to the representative and unique appearance presented by a musical work,and it is one of the most salient qualities of music.In this paper,we propose an innovative music generation algorithm capable of creating a complete musical composition from scratch based on a specified target style.A style-conditioned linear Transformer and a style-conditioned patch discriminator are introduced in the model.The style-conditioned linear Transformer models musical instrument digital interface(MIDI)event sequences and emphasizes the role of style information.Simultaneously,the style-conditioned patch discriminator applies an adversarial learning mechanism with two innovative loss functions to enhance the modeling of music sequences.Moreover,we establish a discriminative metric for the first time,enabling the evaluation of the generated music’s consistency concerning music styles.Both objective and subjective evaluations of our experimental results indicate that our method’s performance with regard to music production is better than the performances encountered in the case of music production with the use of state-of-the-art methods in available public datasets.

Microreactors are increasingly used for green and safe chemical processes owing to their benefits of superior mass and heat transfer,increased yield,safety,and simplicity of control.However,immobilizing catalysts in microreactors remains challenging.In this investigation,a technique for creating Cu_(2)O/montmorillonite catalyst coating,using electrostatic attraction for layer-by-layer self-assembly,was proposed.The montmorillonite film's morphology and thickness could be efficiently regulated by adjusting the degree of exfoliation and surface charge of montmorillonite,alongside layer-by-layer coating times.The Cu_(2)O nanoparticles were immobilized using the flow deposition approach.The resulting Cu_(2)O@montmorillonite-film-coated capillary microreactor successfully transformed glycerol into dihydroxyacetone.The conversion of glycerol and product selectivity could be controlled by adjusting the molar ratio of reactants,temperature,residence time,and Cu_(2)O loading.The maximum glycerol conversion observed was 47.6%,with a 27%selectivity toward dihydroxyacetone.The study presents a technique for immobilizing montmorillonite-based catalyst coatings in capillary tubing,which can serve as a foundation for the future application of microreactors in glycerol conversion.

Upgrading waste NO_(x) into amino acids via electrocatalysis on Co nanoparticles encapsulated in hollow carbon nanofibers

Electrocatalytic conversion of waste nitrogen oxide(NO_(x))into value-added nitrogenous chemicals,especially amino acid,is an emerging strategy to alleviate NO_(x)pollution.However,this process suffers from the coexistence of multiple competitive reactions leading to complex product distribution and low efficiency,and thus the rational design and modulation of efficient catalysts remains a formidable challenge.Herein,well-designed Co nanoparticles encapsulated in hollow carbon nanofiber(CoHCNF)were constructed to promote the amino acid electrosynthesis via dealing waste NO_(x)coupling with biomass-derived keto acids.Ascribed to the rapid reactant diffusion,electron transport and efficient contact with abundant accessible Co catalytic sites stemmed from the unique hollow nanotubular structure,Co-HCNF manifested impressive glycine synthesis performance in one-pot adopting NO as the nitrogen source with Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 41.7%and a corresponding yield rate of 222.3μmol h^(-1)as well as 120 h robust stability.Interestingly,it also demonstrates an excellent performance with the FE of 42.8%for NO_(3)~-solution as the nitrogen source.Specially,this strategy displays a broad universality for the synthesis of other amino acids.This work not only highlights the importance of hollow-structuring electrocatalyst towards upgrading wasted NO_(x)species into amino acids,but also promotes the further development of electrosynthetic systems for high-valued N-containing organic chemicals.

Electronic modulation of sprout-shaped NiCoP nanoarrays by N and Ce doping for efficient overall water splitting

Bifunctional catalysts for hydrogen/oxygen evolution reactions(HER/OER)are urgently needed given the bright future of water splitting hydrogen production technology.Here,the self-supporting N and Ce dual-doped NiCoP nanoarrays(denoted N,Ce-NiCoP/NF)grown on Ni foam are successfully constructed.When the N,Ce-NiCoP/NF simultaneously acts as the HER and OER electrodes,the voltages of 1.54 and 2.14 V are obtained for driving 10 and 500 mA·cm^(-2)with a robust durability,and demonstrate its significant potential for practical water electrolysis.According to both experiments and calculations,the electronic structure of NiCoP may be significantly altered by strategically incorporating N and Ce into the lattice,which in turn optimizes the Gibbs free energy of HER/OER intermediates and speeds up the water splitting kinetics.Moreover,the sprout-shaped morphology significantly increases the exposure of active sites and facilitates charge/mass transfer,thereby augmenting catalyst performance.This study offers a potentially effective approach involving the regulation of anion and cation double doping,as well as architectural engineering,for the purpose of designing and optimizing innovative electrocatalysts.

A hybrid attention model based on first-order statistical features for smoke recognition

Smoke and fire recognition are of great importance on foreseeing fire disasters and preventing environmental pollution by monitoring the burning process of objects(e.g., straw, fuels). However, since fire images suffer from problems like the variability of the features, complexity of scenarios, interference from background, changeable weather conditions as well as image quality problems, identifying smoke and fire accurately and promptly from a given image still remains a substantial challenge. Automatically learning the features of smoke images by CNNs has improved the target recognition ability compared to traditional approaches,nonetheless, convolutions and pooling operations in CNNs may cause severe information loss which may lead to misjudgment.To tackle the above problems, this paper proposed a hybrid attention model based on the characteristics of smoke images. This model adopted multiple optimized attention mechanism in several stages to quickly and precisely capture the important features,achieving state-of-the-art performance on smoke and fire recognition in terms of accuracy and speed. Our proposed module mainly consists of two stages: pooling and attention. In the first stage, we conducted several newly proposed first-order pooling methods. Through traversing the data space in a larger scope, features are better reserved, thus constructing a more intact feature space of smoke and fire in an image. In the second stage, feature maps are aggregated together to perform channel and spatial attention. The channel and spatial dependencies allow us to quickly catch the important features presented in an image. By fully exploring the feature space and prominent salient features, characteristics of smoke and fire are better presented so as to obtain better smoke and fire detection results. Experiments have been conducted on public smoke detection dataset and new proposed fine-grained smoke and fire detection database.
