Evolution of blood lipids and risk factors of dyslipidemia among people living with human immunodeficiency virus who had received first-line antiretroviral regimens for 3 years in Shenzhen

Background:Lipid abnormalities are prevalent among people living with human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)(PLWH)and contribute to increasing risk of cardiovascular events.This study aims to investigate the incidence of dyslipidemia and its risk factors in PLWH after receiving different first-line free antiretroviral regimens.Methods:PLWH who sought care at the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen from January 2014 to December 2018 were included,and the baseline characteristics and clinical data during the follow-up were collected,including total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C).The risk factors of dyslipidemia after antiretroviral therapy were analyzed with the generalized estimating equation model.Results:Among the 7623 PLWH included,the mean levels of TC,HDL-C and LDL-C were 4.23±0.85 mmol/L,1.27±0.29 mmol/L and 2.54±0.65 mmol/L,respectively,and the median TG was 1.17(IQR:0.85-1.68)mmol/L.Compared with that in PLWH receiving tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)+lamivudine(3TC)+ritonavir-boosted lopinavir(LPV/r),zidovudine(AZT)+3TC+efavirenz(EFV),and AZT+3TC+LPV/r,the incidence of dyslipidemia was lower in PLWH receiving TDF+3TC+EFV.In multivariate analysis,we found that the risks of elevations of TG,TC,and LDL-C were higher with TDF+3TC+LPV/r(TG:odds ratio[OR]=2.82,95%confidence interval[CI]:2.55-3.11,P<0.001;TC:OR=1.24,95%CI:1.14-1.35,P<0.001;LDL:OR=1.06,95%CI:1.00-1.12,P=0.041),AZT+3TC+EFV(TG:OR=1.41,95%CI:1.28-1.55,P<0.001;TC:OR=1.43,95%CI:1.31-1.56,P<0.001;LDL:OR=1.18,95%CI:1.12-1.25,P<0.001),and AZT+3TC+LPV/r(TG:OR=3.08,95%CI:2.65-3.59,P<0.001;TC:OR=2.40,95%CI:1.96-2.94,P<0.001;LDL:OR=1.52,95%CI:1.37-1.69,P<0.001)than with TDF+3TC+EFV,while treatment with TDF+3TC+LPV/r was less likely to restore HDL-C levels compared with TDF+3TC+EFV(OR=0.95,95%CI:0.92-0.97,P<0.001).In addition to antiretroviral regimens,antiretroviral therapy duration,older age,overweight,obesity and other traditional factors were also important risk facto

废旧聚酯经乙二醇常压醇解为对苯二甲酸双羟乙酯及其低聚物,经过热水水洗过滤提纯后,添加不同含量的二甘醇(DEG)后缩聚生成再生PET(r-PET)。采用旋转流变仪对不同DEG含量的r-PET进行动态流变性能的研究。结果表明:r-PET呈现明显的假塑性,随着温度、剪切速率(γ)和DEG含量的增加,r-PET熔体的表观黏度逐渐降低;非牛顿指数随测试温度的升高和DEG含量的增加而逐渐增大;黏流活化能随γ和DEG含量的增大而逐渐降低。不同DEG含量的r-PET均呈现以线性链为主的末端行为,储能模量和损耗模量随DEG含量的增加而逐渐降低。

Overweight or obesity has become a serious public health problem in the world, scientists are concentrating their efforts on exploring novel ways to treat obesity. Nowadays, the availabilities of bariatric surgery and pharmacotherapy have enhanced obesity treatment, but it should has support from diet, physical exercise and lifestyle modification, especially the functional food. Resistant starch, an indigestible starch, has been studied for years for its beneficial effects on regulating blood glucose level and lipid metabolism. The aim of this review is to summarize the effect of resistant starch on weight loss and the possible mechanisms. According to numerous previous studies it could be concluded that resistant starch can reduce fat accumulation, enhance insulin sensitivity, regulate blood glucose level and lipid metabolism. Recent investigations have focused on the possible associations between resistant starch and incretins as well as gut microbiota. Resistant starch seems to be a promising dietary fiber for the prevention or treatment of obesity and its related diseases.

ATLRec:An Attentional Adversarial Transfer Learning Network for Cross-Domain Recommendation

Entity linking is a new technique in recommender systems to link users'interaction behaviors in different domains,for the purpose of improving the performance of the recommendation task.Linking-based cross-domain recom-mendation aims to alleviate the data sparse problem by utilizing the domain-sharable knowledge from auxiliary domains.However,existing methods fail to prevent domain-specific features to be transferred,resulting in suboptimal results.In this paper,we aim to address this issue by proposing an adversarial transfer learning based model ATLRec,which effec-tively captures domain-sharable features for cross-domain recommendation.In ATLRec,we leverage adversarial learning to generate representations of user-item interactions in both the source and the target domains,such that the discrimina-tor cannot identify which domain they belong to,for the purpose of obtaining domain-sharable features.Meanwhile each domain learns its domain-specific features by a private feature extractor.The recommendation of each domain considers both domain-specific and domain-sharable features.We further adopt an attention mechanism to learn item latent factors of both domains by utilizing the shared users with interaction history,so that the representations of all items can be learned sufficiently in a shared space,even when few or even no items are shared by different domains.By this method,we can represent all items from the source and the target domains in a shared space,for the purpose of better linking items in different domains and capturing cross-domain item-item relatedness to facilitate the learning of domain-sharable knowledge.The proposed model is evaluated on various real-world datasets and demonstrated to outperform several state-of-the-art single-domain and cross-domain recommendation methods in terms of recommendation accuracy.

Berberine-Promoted CXCR4 Expression Accelerates Endothelial Repair Capacity of Early Endothelial Progenitor Cells in Persons with Prehypertension

Objective： To evaluate whether the berberine treatment can improve endothelial repair capacity of early endothelial progenitor cells （EPCs） from prehypertensive subjects through increasing CXC chemokine receptor 4 （CXCR4） signaling. Methods： EPCs were isolated from prehypertensive and healthy subjects and cultured. In vivo reendothelialization capacity of EPCs from prehypertensive patients with or without in vitro berberine treatment was examined in a nude mouse model of carotid artery injury. The protein expressions of CXCR4/Janus kinase-2 （JAK-2） signaling of in vitro EPCs were detected by Western blot analysis. Results： CXCR4 signaling and alteration in migration and adhesion functions of EPCs were evaluated. Basal CXCR4 expression was significantly reduced in EPCs from prehypertensive patients compared with normal subjects （P〈0.01）. Also, the phosphorylation of JAK-2 of EPCs, a CXCR4 downstream signaling, was significantly decreased （P〈0.01）. Berberine promoted CXCR4/JAK-2 signaling expression of in vitro EPCs （P〈0.01）. Transplantation of EPCs pretreated with berberine markedly accelerated in vivo reendothelialization （P〈0.01）. The increased in vitro function and in vivo reendothelialization capacity of EPCs were inhibited by CXCR4 neutralizing antibody or pretreatment with JAK-2 inhibitor AG490, respectively （P〈0.01）. Conclusion： Berberine- modified EPCs via up-regulation of CXCR4 signaling contributes to enhanced endothelial repair capacity in prehypertension, indicating that berberine may be used as a novel potential primary prevention means against prehypertension-related atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Background：Platelet function tests are widely used in clinical practice to guide personalized antiplatelet therapy.In China,the thromboelastography （TEG） test has been well accepted in clinics,whereas VerifyNow,mainly used for scientific research,has not been used in routine clinical practice.The aim of the current study was to compare these two point-of-care platelet function tests and to analyze the consistency between the two tests for evaluating on-clopidogrel platelet reactivity in Chinese acute myocardial infarction patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）.Methods：A total of 184 patients admitted to Fuwai Hospital between August 2014 and May 2015 were enrolled in the study.On-clopidogrel platelet reactivity was assessed 3 days after PCI by TEG and VerifyNow using adenosine diphosphate as an agonist.Based on the previous reports,an inhibition of platelet aggregation （IPA）〈30% for TEG or a P2Y12 reaction unit （PRU）〉230 for VerifyNow was defined as high on-clopidogrel platelet reactivity （HPR）.An IPA 〉70% or a PRU 〈178 was defined as low on-clopidogrel platelet reactivity （LPR）.Correlation and agreement between the two methods were analyzed using the Spearman correlation coefficient （r） and kappa value （κ）,respectively.Results：Our results showed that VerifyNow and TEG had a moderate but significant correlation in evaluating platelet reactivity （r =-0.511）.A significant although poor agreement （κ =0.225） in identifying HPR and a significantly moderate agreement in identifying LPR （κ =0.412） were observed between TEG and VerifyNow.By using TEG as the reference for comparison,the cutoffvalues of VerifyNow for the Chinese patients in this study were identified as PRU 〉205 for HPR and PRU 〈169 for LPR.Conclusions：By comparing VerifyNow to TEG which has been widely used in clinics,VerifyNow could be an attractive alternative to TEG for monitoring on-clopidogrel platelet reactivity in Chinese patients.

New steroidal alkaloid and furostanol glycosides isolated from Solanum lyratum with cytotoxicity

Two previously undescribed steroidal compounds, 16, 23-epoxy-22, 26-epimino-cholest-22(N), 23, 25(26)-trien-3β-ol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-galactopyranoside(1) and 26-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(25 R)-5α-furost-20(22)-en-3β, 26-diol(2), together with 7 known ones including 26-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(25 R)-5, 20(22)-dien-furost-3β, 26-diol(3),(25 R)-5-en-spirost-3β-ol-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-[α-L-rhmanopyranosyl-(1→2)]-β-D-galactopyranoside(4), funkioside D(5), aspidistrin(6), tigogenin-3-O-β-D-lucotrioside(7), desglucolanatigonin II(8), and degalactotigonin(9), were isolated from Solanum lyratum Thunb. Their cytotoxic activities were tested in two cancer cell lines by MTT method. One of the steroidal glycosides(6) showed significant cytotoxic activity against gastric cancer SGC7901 and liver cancer BEL-7402 cells.

Cryptotanshinone induces apoptosis of activated hepatic stellate cells via modulating endoplasmic reticulum stress

BACKGROUND Cryptotanshinone(CPT)has wide biological functions,including anti-oxidative,antifibrosis,and anti-inflammatory properties.However,the effect of CPT on hepatic fibrosis is unknown.AIM To investigate the effects of CPT treatment on hepatic fibrosis and its underlying mechanism of action.METHODS Hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)and normal hepatocytes were treated with different concentrations of CPT and salubrinal.The CCK-8 assay was used to determine cell viability.Flow cytometry was used to measure apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and Western blot analyses were used to measure mRNA levels and protein expression of endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)signaling pathway related molecules,respectively.Carbon tetrachloride(CCL4)was used to induce in vivo hepatic fibrosis in mice.Mice were treated with CPT and salubrinal,and blood and liver samples were collected for histopathological examination.RESULTS We found that CPT treatment significantly reduced fibrogenesis by modulating the synthesis and degradation of the extracellular matrix in vitro.CPT inhibited cell proliferation and induced cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase in cultured HSCs.Furthermore,we found that CPT promoted apoptosis of activated HSCs by upregulating expression of ERS markers(CHOP and GRP78)and activating ERS pathway molecules(PERK,IRE1α,and ATF4),which were inhibited by salubrinal.Inhibition of ERS by salubrinal partially eliminated the therapeutic effect of CPT in our CCL4-induced hepatic fibrosis mouse model.CONCLUSION CPT can promote apoptosis of HSCs and alleviate hepatic fibrosis through modulating the ERS pathway,which represents a promising strategy for treating hepatic fibrosis.

自越冬后,连续采穗扦插福白菊的母株,探究了其扦插的最大繁育系数,并比较了不同批次插穗、生根苗的质量,定植后于盛花期观测其株高、冠幅和产量等指标,以评估不同批次插穗、生根苗、产量的差异,旨在为福白菊的种苗繁育和高产栽培提供依据。结果表明:春季在福白菊越冬母株上可采10茬扦插穗条,结合冷藏,在适宜的定植期内可产生5批插穗和5批生根苗。春季,1株福白菊采穗株最多可繁育40余株扦插苗,后期所采穗条有变细、变弱的趋势,扦插后的生根数下降,但总根长与平均根长呈增加的趋势;冷藏30 d以内未发现对生根苗和插穗的保存质量存在不利的影响,当冷藏超过30 d时损耗率则会增加。此外,冷藏20~30 d对生根苗的生长、鲜花产量具有一定的提升作用,扦插生根后冷藏比插穗冷藏后扦插的种苗产花量更高;就种苗的来源而言,自越冬后,从母株上所采集的第1至第4茬穗条扦插生根苗的产花量高于其他插穗;就定植时间而言,5月中下旬定植仍不低于前期定植的种苗产量;自5月下旬开始,随着定植期的延后,第5至第7批的株高、冠幅和单株产量呈现下降趋势,与定植期晚于5月之后的种苗相比,二代插穗生根苗的产花量均优于在相近定植期的一代插穗生根苗的产花量。

The Structure and Properties of Ag(Nb_(0.8)Ta_(0.2))O_3 Ceramic Doped with MnNb_2O_6

The influences of doping of MnNb206 on the structure and dielectric properties of Ag（Nb0.sTa0.2）O3 were illustrated. Ag（Nb0.sTa0.2）O3 samples doped with different amount of preformed MnNb206 （1 mol%, 2 mol%, 3 mol%, 4 mol%, 6 mol%, 8 mol%） were prepared by traditional solid-state reaction method and characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS, and the dielectric properties of samples were compared. The experiment results indicated that when the doping amount of MnNb206 was greater than 3 mol%, second phase appeared because of the solid solution limit. The permittivity of the Ag（Nb0.sTa0.2）O3 samples doped with MnNb206 firstly increased and then decreased with the sintering temperature, while the dielectric loss decreased first, and then increased slightly. 1 100 ℃seems to be the most proper sintering temperature for most of the samples. When the amount of MnNb206 is about 3 mol%, the samples have the best dielectric properties, larger permittivity and smaller dielectric loss.
