To clarify the effects of ferrite morphologies and contents on high-cycle fatigue property of pearlite-ferrite dual-phase(DP)steel used for fabrication of commercial vehicle crankshafts,two types of DP steels with different ferrite grain sizes(S10:13.1μm and S30:21.4μm)and ferrite contents(S10:~9.5 vol.%and S30:~30.4 vol.%)were prepared.Stress amplitude-logarithm of number of high cycles to failure fatigue of the two DP steels was evaluated.Experimental results showed a fatigue strength of 510 and 400 MPa for S10 and S30 steels,respectively,at 10^(7) cycles.Fatigue cracks in S10 steel extended preferentially along the grain boundary,but it was easy for crack propagation to extend within a pearlite colony to form a zigzag crack morphology.Crack roughness was enhanced and high stress was introduced to the crack surface due to this kind of crack propagation behavior,which has positive effects on slowing down crack propagation.However,the crack propagation in S30 steel mainly occurred inside the soft equiaxed coarse ferrite grain.Analysis revealed that little stress was introduced to the crack surface.These results show that it is possible to improve high cycle fatigue strength of pearlite-ferrite DP steel by appropriately manipulating the volume fraction and microstructure morphology of ferrite phase.

BACKGROUND:Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games was the second Games held amid the COVID-19 pandemic.To a certain extent,it has altered the way sporting activities operate.There is a lack of knowledge on injury risk and illness occurrence in elite winter sport athletes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.This study aimed to describe the incidence of injuries and illnesses sustained during the XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing from February 4 to 20,2022.METHODS:We recorded the daily number of injuries and illnesses among athletes reported by Beijing 2022 medical staff in the polyclinic,medical venues,and ambulance.We calculated injury and illness incidence as the number of injuries or illnesses occurring during competition or training,respectively,with incidence presented as injuries/illnesses per 100 athlete-days.RESULTS:In total,2,897 athletes from 91 nations experienced injury or illness.Beijing 2022 medical staff reported 326 injuries and 80 illnesses,equaling 11.3 injuries and 2.8 illnesses per 100 athletes over the 17-day period.Altogether,11%of the athletes incurred at least one injury and nearly 3%incurred at least one illness.The number of injured athletes was highest in the skating sports(n=104),followed by alpine skiing(n=53),ice track(n=37),freestyle skiing(n=36),and ice hockey(n=35),and was the lowest in the Nordic skiing disciplines(n=20).Of the 326 injuries,14(4.3%)led to an estimated absence from training or competition of more than 1 week.A total of 52 injured athletes were transferred to hospitals for further care.The number of athletes with illness(n=80)was the highest for skating(n=33)and Nordic skiing(n=22).A total of 50 illnesses(62.5%)were admitted to the department of dentistry/ophthalmology/otolaryngology,and the most common cause of illness was other causes,including preexisting illness and medicine(n=52,65%).CONCLUsiON:Overall,11%of athletes incurred at least one injury during the Games,which is similar to the findings during the Olympic Winter Games in 2014 and 2018.Regarding illness,2%of athlet

BACKGROUND:To investigate the most appropriate dual antiplatelet therapy(daPT)duration for patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)after drug-eluting stent(DES)implantation in the largest cardiovascular center of China.METHODS:We enrolled 5,187 consecutive patients with ACS who received DES from January to December 2013.Patients were divided into four groups based on daPT duration:standard daPT group(11-13 months,n=1,568)and prolonged daPT groups(13-18 months[n=308],18-24 months[n=2,125],and>24 months[n=1,186]).Baseline characteristics and 5-year clinical outcomes were recorded.RESULTS:Baseline characteristics were similar across the four groups.Among the four groups,those with prolonged daPT(18-24 months)had the lowest incidence of major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events(MACCEs)(14.1%vs.11.7%vs.9.6%vs.24.2%,Psis showed that prolonged daPT(18-24 months)was an independent protective factor for MACCEs(hazard ratio[HR]0.802,95%confidence interval[CI]0.729-0.882,Psis for high bleeding risk showed that prolonged daPT remained an independent protective factor for all-cause death and MACCEs.CONCLUsiON:For patients with ACS after DES,appropriately prolonging the daPT duration may be associated with a reduced risk of adverse ischemic events without increasing the bleeding risk.

研究了溶解在丙三醇(GL)/水混合溶剂中的壳聚糖(CS)黏度随储存时间、储存温度的变化规律,探讨了GL对CS溶液储存稳定性的影响。结果表明,室温时,GL的加入可以有效改善温度升高导致的CS溶液储存稳定性的下降趋势;相比于室温,1℃时,使用GL作为稳定剂的CS溶液体系在6.5 h内增比黏度几乎不变,放置99 h后,含有GL的CS溶液增比黏度也仅下降了3.8%,小于同等温度下水溶液中的CS增比黏度下降比例的1/2。GL的加入可以有效提高CS的储存稳定性,1℃下储存时,GL使CS溶液达到较佳的储存稳定性能。

Moyamoya disease and cerebrovascular atherosclerotic disease are both chronic ischemic diseases with similar presentations of vascular cognitive impairment. The aim of the present study was to investigate the patterns of microstructural damage associated with vascular cognitive impairment in the two diseases. The study recruited 34 patients with moyamoya disease(age 43.9 ± 9.2 years; 20 men and 14 women, 27 patients with cerebrovascular atherosclerotic disease(age: 44.6 ± 7.6 years; 17 men and 10 women), and 31 normal controls(age 43.6 ± 7.3 years; 18 men and 13 women) from Huashan Hospital of Fudan University in China. Cognitive function was assessed using the Mini-Mental State Examination, long-term delayed recall of Auditory Verbal Learning Test, Trail Making Test Part B, and the Symbol Digit Modalities Test. single-photon emission-computed tomography was used to examine cerebral perfusion. Voxel-based morphometry and tract-based spatial statistics were performed to identify regions of gray matter atrophy and white matter deterioration in patients and normal controls. The results demonstrated that the severity of cognitive impairment was similar between the two diseases in all tested domains. Patients with moyamoya disease and those with cerebrovascular atherosclerotic disease suffered from disturbed supratentorial hemodynamics. Gray matter atrophy in bilateral middle cingulate cortex and parts of the frontal gyrus was prominent in both diseases, but in general, was more severe and more diffuse in those with moyamoya disease. White matter deterioration was significant for both diseases in the genu and body of corpus callosum, in the anterior and superior corona radiation, and in the posterior thalamic radiation, but in moyamoya disease, it was more diffuse and more severe. Vascular cognitive impairment was associated with regional microstructural damage, with a potential link between, gray and white matter damage. The hazards of fault reactivation caused by fluid injection are a growing concern.However,traditional evaluation methods of fault stability are likely to underestimate the risk in fault segments with a high clay content.Therefore,an extended evaluation method of fault stability(ECPP)incorporating the heterogeneity in friction strength caused by variation in the clay content within the fault zone is established in this study.After characterizing the current stress field of the BZ34-2 Oilfield in the Huanghekou Sag,Bohai Bay Basin,the reactivation potential of faults is evaluated using both traditional and ECPP methods.Traditional evaluation of fault stability shows that all faults are stable in the present stress field.Faults oriented ENE have a relatively high risk.The maximum sustainable fluid pressure Δp is approximately 8.8-8.9 MPa and 9.3-9.9 MPa.When considering the heterogeneity in fault friction strength,the fault stability is clearly controlled by the clay content of the faults.The high-risk fault segments assessed using traditional methods are no longer obvious,which reflects the importance of incorporating friction strength heterogeneity in the process of fault evaluation.Moreover,the results also show that most fault segments are activated when the fault zone is dominated by montmorillonite,reflecting the strong influence of clay mineral types on fault stability.The factors influencing the heterogeneity of fault friction strength are very complicated in actual situations.Therefore,future work should focus on establishing a database through a large number of experiments and investigating the relationship between the friction coefficient and the main controlling factors.

Striatal neurons can be either projection neurons or interneurons, with each type exhibiting distinct susceptibility to various types of brain damage. In this study, 6-hydroxydopamine was injected into the right medial forebrain bundle to induce dopamine depletion, and/or ibotenic acid was injected into the M1 cortex to induce motor cortex lesions. Immunohistochemistry and western blot assay showed that dopaminergic depletion results in significant loss of striatal projection neurons marked by dopamine- and cyclic adenosine monophosphate-regulated phosphoprotein, molecular weight 32 k da, calbindin, and μ-opioid receptor, while cortical lesions reversed these pathological changes. After dopaminergic deletion, the number of neuropeptide Y-positive striatal interneurons markedly increased, which was also inhibited by cortical lesioning. No noticeable change in the number of parvalbumin-positive interneurons was found in 6-hydroxydopamine-treated rats. Striatal projection neurons and interneurons show different susceptibility to dopaminergic depletion. Further, cortical lesions inhibit striatal dysfunction and damage induced by 6-hydroxydopamine, which provides a new possibility for clinical treatment of Parkinson＇s disease.
