BACKGROUND Food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome(FPIEs)is the most serious type of non-immunoglobulin E(IgE)-mediated food allergic reaction manifesting as sepsis-like symptom,which can lead to *** boulardii(***),a probiotic prescribed frequently in clinical settings,has been reported to trigger FPIEs in an infant with soy-triggered *** this report,we describe a new clinical FPIEs in which *** was the sole triggering factor of acute FPIEs adverse reaction in seven healthy *** sUMMARY seven FPIEs cases triggered by only *** were gathered from 2011 to the *** of the patients had previously experienced any allergic reaction to cow’s milk,soy,or complementary *** age of the patients was 4-10-months old,and the symptoms of FPIEs developed after ingestion of ***,which is mostly prescribed for the treatment of gastroenteritis or antibiotic-associated *** patients experienced severe repetitive vomiting 1-3 hours after *** *** lethargy,marked pallor,and cyanosis were also *** IgE-mediated hypersensitivity developed in any *** was followed by initial intense vomiting in approximately 5-10 hours after *** ingestion,and only one case showed bloody,purulent,and foul-smelling *** patients stabilized quickly,mostly within 6 *** got all improved within 24 hours after discontinuation of *** *** can be the sole trigger of acute FPIEs and be prescribed cautiously even in healthy children without FPIEs.

Fe_(72.4)Co_(13.9)Cr_(10.4)Mn_(2.7)B_(0.34)high entropy steel was prepared by magnetron *** alloy exhibits a high yield strength of 2.92±0.36 GPa while achieving appreciable plasticity of 13.7±1.9%at the ultimate compressive strength(3.37±0.36 GPa).The distribution of iron and chromium shows an un-usual,characteristic spinodal-like pattern at the nanometer scale,where compositions of Fe and Cr show strong anticorrelation and vary by as much as 20 at.%.The high strength is largely attributable to the compositional modulations,combined with fine grains with body-centered cubic(BCC)crystal structure,as well as grain boundary segregation of interstitial *** impressive plasticity is accommodated by the formation and operation of multiplanar,multicharacter dislocation slips,mediated by coherent in-terfaces,and controlled by shear *** excellent strength-ductility combination is thus enabled by a range of distinctive strengthening mechanisms,rendering the new alloy a potential candidate for safety-critical,load-bearing structural applications.

The superplastic behavior and associated deformation mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of the BCCβphase and a small amount of the HCPαphase,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of this alloy was achieved by employing high-ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was achieved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where tensile elongations of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding stage of the tensile samples prior to tensile loading,a significant increase in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider this effect when analyzing and understanding the superplastic deformation behavior and *** the investigated strain rate range,the superplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,while at high strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was the rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded that solute drag creep is unlikely to *** the late stages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed that grain boundary sliding led to the agglomeration of theαphase,resulting in significant strain *** mechanism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in the form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate,stress,temperature,and grain size,using the constitutive equations for various deformation mechanisms derived based on the data of the current tests.

The electrospraying of water in the cone-jet mode is difficult in practical applications owing to its low throughput and the electrical discharge caused by the high surface tension of water.A film with multiple dielectric micronozzles is essential for multiplexed electrospraying of water in cone-jet mode without electrical ***,a pyramidal micronozzle film with five nozzles was fabricated using the UV-embossing *** pyramidal micronozzle film consisted of pyramidal micronozzles,a micropillar array,and an in-plane extractor,which were proposed to minimize wetting and concentrate the electric field to the water meniscus at the tip of the pyramidal *** electrospraying of water using a single pyramidal micronozzle was visualized by a high-speed camera at a flow rate of 0.15–0.50ml/h with voltages of 0.0–2.3 kV,−1.6 kV,and−4.0 kV at the water,guide ring,and collector,*** distinct modes,the dripping,spindle,and cone-jet modes,were observed and distinguished according to the motion of the water meniscus at the nozzle *** steady Taylor cone and jet were observed in a voltage range of 1.3–2.0 kV in water,particularly in cone-jet *** electrospraying of water in cone-jet mode at a flow rate of 1.5ml/h was performed using a pyramidal micronozzle film,demonstrating the potential for a high-throughput electrospraying system.

In Korea, trilobites are among the most intensively studied fossil groups in the past century and provide invaluable information about lower Paleozoic stratigraphy, paleogeography, and tectonics of the Korean Peninsula. Trilobites occur in the lower Paleozoic Joseon supergroup of the Taebaeksan Basin which was part of the sino-Korean Craton in the Paleozoic. The Joseon supergroup is divided into the Taebaek, Yeongwol, and Mungyeong groups. The Taebaek and Yeongwol groups are richly fossiliferous, while the Mungyeong Group is poorly fossiliferous. Contrasting trilobite faunal contents of the Taebaek and Yeongwol groups resulted in two separate biostratigraphic schemes for the Cambrian–Ordovician of the Taebaeksan Basin. A total of 22 biozones or fossiliferous horizons were recognized in the Taebaek Group; 19 zones were established in the Yeongwol Group; and four biozones were known from the Mungyeong Group. These trilobite biozones of the Taebaeksan Basin indicate the Joseon supergroup ranges in age from the Cambrian series 2 to Middle Ordovician and can be correlated well with the formations of North China, south China, and Australia.

shell-and-tube vaporizers are the most commonly used and dominated types of vaporizers in liquefied natural gas （LNG） realm. Due to efficient performance, shell-side flow in this type of vaporizers has received considerable attention and has been investigated extensively. However, the detailed flow structure in the shell needs to be determined for reliable and effective design. Therefore, the objective of this study was to clarify the flow structure in shell by particle image velocimetry （PIV）. Experiments were conducted using two types of model; 15% baffle cut having inlet and outlet positions !n the direction of 90° to the cut and 30% baffle cut having inlet and outlet positions in the direction of 180° to the cut. Each test section is 169 mm in inner diameter and 344.6 mm in length. The flow features were characterized in different baffle cuts with regards to the velocity vector field and velocity distribution. The results show that the flow characteristics of 15% baffle cut type vaporizer are comparable to those of 30% baffle cut type vaporizer.

In this study, the inhomogeneous dealloying phenomenon during the liquid metal dealloying(LMD) was investigated using FeNi+Mg and(FeCo)Ni+Mg systems. For the FeNi+Mg system, the inhomogeneous dealloying and wetting of Mg melt occurred along triple junction(TJ) and grain boundary(GB).Temperature increase enhances the inhomogeneous dealloying kinetics and leads to the formation of the plate-shaped abnormal ligaments at the GB region. The energy banlance between a GB energy(γGB)and solid-liquid interface energies(γsl) is the key factor governing the inhomogeneous dealloying and wetting. Particularly, the low-energy twin boundaries were unaffected by the inhomogeneous ***, precursor microstructure is an important factor determining the final morphology of dealloyed material as well as its physical properties. In the case of the(FeCo)Niprecursor, all TJ and GB were stable against the preferred penetration of Mg melt from 600 ℃ to 800 ℃. It was concluded that a minor addition of alloying elements(VorCr) changes GB characteristics as well as γslof the precursor ***, this significantly influences dealloying mechanisms and final morphology of the dealloyed material. The current findings demonstrate the importance of GB engineering in the precursor materials for the technological application of liquid metal dealloying for the synthesis of advanced structural and functional materials.
