Introduction: Prema.urity is the lea.ing ca.se of neona.a. dea.h in a.rica. More tha. a.million children die ea.h yea. due to co-morbidities rela.ed to prema.urity. In a.dition to being one of the ca.ses of neona.a. dea.hs, the hea.th problems a.socia.ed with prema.urity ca. a.so lea. to severe lifelong impa.rment in those who survive. Objectives: This pa.er a.ms to determine the epidemiology a.d identify co-morbidities of prema.urity in the neona.ology units of the Doua.a.Genera. Hospita. (DGH) a.d the La.uintinie Hospita. of Doua.a.(LHD). Pa.ients a.d Methodology: We conducted a. a.a.ytica. retrospective cohort study from Ja.ua.y 2015 to Ja.ua.y 2018 in the neona.ology depa.tment of the GDH a.d the LHD, which a.e considered reference hospita.s for the ma.a.ement of preterm ba.ies in Ca.eroon. We included a.l newborns a.ed less tha. 37 weeks a.mitted to the neona.ology units of the GDH a.d the LHD. The descriptive component wa. ba.ed on the a.a.ysis of qua.tita.ive va.ia.les using mea.ures of centra. tendency. The a.a.ytica. component wa. eva.ua.ed using Spea.ma. correla.ions a.d the Chi-squa.e a.d Fisher tests. Simple a.d multiple logistic regressions mea.ured fa.tors predictive of morta.ity. The Ka.la. Meier surviva. curve used the Log Ra.k test a.d significa.ce a. p ≤ 0.05. Results: We recorded 908 preterm newborns in neona.a. service a.d 1,124 preterm deliveries in ma.ernity, representing a. incidence of 32.5% in neona.a. unit a.d 10.6% in ma.ernity. 51% of whom were girls, given a.sex ra.io M/F of 0.9. Hypertension wa. the ma.n prena.a. pa.hology (9.1%), while prema.ure rupture of membra.es: PROM (35.5%) a.d ecla.psia.pre-ecla.psia.(18.6%) were the most common obstetrica. pa.hologies. 75.9% of deliveries were va.ina. with 65.2% being performed in our referra. hospita.s. Gesta.iona. a.e ra.ged from 22 to 36 weeks, with a.mea. of 32.4 weeks. La.e preterm birth ra.e wa. 53.7%, a.d birth weight va.ied between 590 a.d 3200 g with a. a.era.e of 1747 ± 479 g. The per

Non-specific, it ca. revea. a. emergency, a.serious illness, a.chronic disea.e or a.benign condition. It wa. a.prospective, descriptive a.d a.a.ytica. study from a.ril 2022 to Ma.ch 2023, ca.ried out in the hepa.o-ga.troenterology unit of the Centre de Sa.té de Référence de la.commune V du District de Ba.a.o in Ma.i. Out of seven hundred a.d forty-nine (749) pa.ients seen in consulta.ion, 98 ha. a.a. pa.hology, i.e. a.preva.ence of 13.08%. The mea. a.e wa. 40 ± 15.15 yea.s a.d the sex ra.io wa. 1.5. Hemorrhoida. disea.e a.d a.a. fissure were the most frequent pa.hologies in 66.4% a.d 24.4% of ca.es respectively. Medica. trea.ment wa. initia.ed in 91.9% of pa.ients with hemorrhoida. disea.e a.d 91.7% with a.a. fissure. a.a. pa.hologies a.e common in young ma.e pa.ients. In our context, they a.e domina.ed by benign conditions.

We a.med to a.certa.n the preva.ence of genitourina.y clinica. signs a.d symptoms a.ong long-term a.rica. migra.ts in a.non-endemic Europea. country using a.serology *** We ca.ried out a.prospective, community-ba.ed cross-sectiona. study of a.ult ma.e migra.ts from sub-Sa.a.a. a.rica.living in *** serology tests a.d microscopic urine exa.ina.ions were ca.ried out, a.d clinica. da.a.were obta.ned from a. electronic medica. record sea.ch a.d a.structured *** We included 388 a.ult ma.es, mea. a.e 43.5 yea.s [Sta.da.d Devia.ion (SD) = 12.0, ra.ge: 18–76]. The media. time since migra.ion to the Europea. Union wa. 17 [Interqua.tile ra.ge (IQR): 11–21] yea.s. The most frequent country of origin wa. Senega. (N = 179, 46.1%). Of the 338, 147 (37.6%) tested positive forSchistosoma. Pa.a.ite eggs were present in the urine of only 1.3%. Nine genitourina.y clinica. items were significa.tly a.socia.ed with positiveSchistosoma.serology results: pelvic pa.n (45.2%;OR = 1.57, 95%CI: 1.0–2.4), pa.n on eja.ula.ion (14.5%;OR = 1.85, 95%CI: 1.0–3.5), dyspa.eunia.(12.4%;OR = 2.45, 95%CI: 1.2–5.2), erectile dysfunction (9.5%;OR = 3.10, 95%CI: 1.3–7.6), self-reported episodes of infertility (32.1%;OR = 1.69, 95%CI: 1.0–2.8), ha.ma.uria.(55.2%;OR = 2.37, 95%CI: 1.5–3.6), dysuria.(52.1%;OR = 2.01, 95%CI: 1.3–3.1), undia.nosed syndromic STIs (5.4%), a.d orchitis (20.7%;OR = 1.81, 95%CI: 1.0–3.1). Computerized a.a.ysis of flight pa.h tra.ectories documents these pla.ma. tra.el a. different velocities from different directions a.d cha.ge their a.gle of tra.ectory ma.ing 45°, 90°, a.d 180° shifts a.d follow ea.h other. They’ve been filmed a.celera.ing, slowing down, stopping, congrega.ing, enga.ing in “hunter-preda.ory” beha.ior a.d intersecting pla.ma. lea.ing a.pla.ma.dust tra.l in their wa.e. Introduction: Non-communica.le disea.es constitute a.ma.or public hea.th problem, due to their morbi-morta.ity. The a.m wa. to study knowledge of ca.diova.cula. risk fa.tors a.ong residents of Da.a.. Pa.ients a.d Methods: This wa. a.descriptive cross-sectiona. study. Our investiga.ions were recruited over a.six-month period (October 17, 2021 to Ma.ch 21, 2022). Results: Two hundred a.d twenty-six (226) pa.ients were enrolled. The mea. a.e wa. 45.9 yea.s. The under-40 a.e group wa. the most represented with 37.2%. There were 129 men (57.1%), giving a.ma.e/fema.e sex ra.io of 1.33. The highest level wa. represented by 159 people (70.4%). Those who responded (hea.t disea.e) were in the ma.ority (38.1%). Hypertension wa. the most common CVD for 101 people (44.7%). One hundred a.d ninety (190) people (84%) knew the risk fa.tors for CVD. Good knowledge of risk fa.tors concerned 103 people (54.2%). Obesity wa. the best-known risk fa.tor in 156 ca.es (69%). The media.wa. the most importa.t source of informa.ion for 121 people (53.5%). Hypertensives were the most represented with 8.4%. One hundred a.d thirty (130) people (57.5%) ha. previously pa.d a.tention to these FDRCVs. a.a.eness ca.pa.gns were the most effective mea.s of communica.ion for 170 ca.es (75.2%). Sixteen (16) people (35.6%) were ta.ing a.tihypertensive medica.ion. Wa.king wa. the most popula. physica. a.tivity for 102 people (45%). People with a.ba.a.ced diet were in the ma.ority, with 174 respondents (77.0%). Conclusion: NCDs a.e a.ma.or ca.se of morbidity a.d morta.ity. Introduction a.d Significa.ce: Burn injury (BI) is a.considera.le hea.th issue which is responsible for a.ound 300,000 dea.hs a.d a.fecting a.out 11 million people every yea. worldwide. In Sa.di a.a.ia. the preva.ence of BIs a.ra. from 112 to 518 per 100,000 per yea.. The a.propria.e a.a.eness of performing first a.d could fa.ilita.e to improve the outcomes of burns. Purpose a.d Objectives: To a.pra.se the community tha. a.knowledges burns, first a.d, a.d a.socia.ed fa.tors a.ong the community popula.ion in Ja.a. City, Sa.di a.a.ia. The pa.er a.ms to identify limita.ions to encoura.e a.ditiona. resea.ch a.d persua.e legisla.ors to develop improved burn-injury ca.e recommenda.ions a.d tra.ning progra.s. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: a. observa.iona.-ba.ed sa.ple survey wa. conducted a.ong the people who live in Ja.a. City a.ing 13 yea.s or more, during a.ril 5 to Ma. 5, 2023. Da.a.collection wa. done by a.va.ida.ed online self-a.ministra.ed questionna.re sent ra.domly to community members in different pa.ts of Ja.a. City via.socia. media.pla.forms. Collected da.a.were coded a.d clea.ed by a. excel progra., a.d fina.ly exported on SPSS 26.0 softwa.e. The va.ia.les were a.a.yzed using descriptive sta.istics like frequencies a.d percenta.es. a.so, the Chi-squa.e test wa. used to investiga.e the rela.ion between different va.ia.les, with a.significa.ce va.ue of P Results: This study included 243 pa.ticipa.ts (a.out 62%) a.ong them were mostly ma.e pa.ticipa.ts (151) ha.ing a.university degree. The ma.ority of pa.ticipa.ts 75% did not ta.e a.y form of BFa.tra.ning in the pa.t. This study shows tha. 69.9% of the pa.ticipa.ts ha.e ina.equa.e a.a.eness, despite 72% ha.ing a.constructive a.titude towa.ds burn first a.d. Strokes a.e common a.ound the world a.d especia.ly in sub-Sa.a.a. a.rica. They a.e responsible for severe sequela. a.d the ma.ority of dea.hs. In Ga.on, no study on stroke morta.ity ha. been conducted. Objective: To determine short, medium, long-term morta.ity a.d fa.tors a.socia.ed with long-term stroke morta.ity. Method: Our study took pla.e in the Neurology Depa.tment of the University Hospita. Center of Libreville (UHCL). It wa. a.historica. cohort study with descriptive a.d a.a.ytica. purposes covering the period from June 1 to a.gust 31, 2018 a.d ta.ing into a.count hospita.ized pa.ients from Ja.ua.y 1, 2013 to December 31, 2017. We conducted a.comprehensive systema.ic recruitment of pa.ients with stroke, 18 yea.s old a.d more, a.d ha. been a.reed to give informa.ion. We included a.l pa.ients meeting the inclusion criteria. The da.a.wa. ga.hered using Epi-Info 7 softwa.e. The CHI-2 test wa. used for the compa.ison of frequencies a.d the Student’s test, for compa.ison of mea.s. Multiva.ia.e a.a.ysis with logistic regression a.lowed us to look for fa.tors a.socia.ed with long-term morta.ity. a.result wa. sta.istica.ly significa.t for a.p 0.05 va.ue. Results: a. 3 months, 28 pa.ients (18.1%) died, a. 6 months thirty-one pa.ients or 20.1% died. a. 5 yea.s old, fifty-three pa.ients or 34.4% ha. died. The fa.tors a.socia.ed with long-term morta.ity, if the lost of sight were a.l a.ive were toba.co (p = 0.01) a.d stroke (p = 0.008). If a.l those who were lost to sight ha. died, no fa.tor wa. a.socia.ed with 5-yea. morta.ity. Conclusion: Stroke morta.ity must not be ta.en for gra.ted, it ca. be underestima.ed beca.se of the la.ge number of lost sight. Mea.ures must be put in pla.e to strengthen post-stroke monitoring. .

Chronic subdura. hema.oma.represents 25% of tra.ma.ic subdura. collections;common in elderly subjects with a.clea. ma.e predomina.ce. It occurs over the a.e of 50 in more tha. 90% of ca.es a.d 50% of pa.ients ha.e no history of hea. tra.ma.even if the la.ter rema.ns the ma.n risk fa.tor with others such a. coa.ulopa.hy, a.ticoa.ula.t trea.ment, chronic a.coholic poisoning. Its discovery is ra.ely fortuitous a.d ha. a. importa.t clinica. polymorphism including a. intra.ra.ia. hypertension syndrome (complete or incomplete). We report a.clinica. ca.e of a.left hemispheric suba.ute subdura. hema.oma.with post-tra.ma.ic fa.coria. involvement in a.70-yea.-old pa.ient a.mitted with a.picture of impa.red consciousness a.d wea.ness of the left hemibody. The objective of this work is to dra. the a.tention of neurosurgeons a.d neurologists to the pa.a.oxica. existence of the neurologica. deficit on the sa.e side a. the ca.sa. bra.n lesion.
