Short-term tida. a.d diel va.ia.ions of a.tumn fish a.sembla.e in a.Zostera.ma.ina.bed were investiga.ed using 3 h interva. sa.plings for 24 h in both spring a.d nea. tide using a.sma.l bea. tra.l.a.tota. of 1 346 fishes belonging to 19 species were collected a. spring tide,wherea. 1 115 fishes belonging to 17 species were a. nea. *** common fish species were Nuchequula.nucha.is,a.a.thogobius fla.ima.us,Ta.ifugu niphobles,a.entrogobius pfla.mii,a.d Pholis nebulosa.with the former three species domina.ing a. spring tide,while the la.ter two species being a.unda.t a. nea. *** va.ia.ion in a.unda.ce wa. significa.t with higher a.unda.ce a. night tha. da.,but there were no significa.t differences between spring a.d nea. tides,a.d between ebb a.d flood tides（three-wa. a.OVa.）.Diel va.ia.ion in the a.unda.ce of fishes ma. be influenced by tida. ra.ge a.d cycle,a.d da.-night differences of food a.a.la.ility a.d beha.iors of fishes ***-metric multidimensiona. sca.ing（n MDS） ordina.ion a.d a.a.ysis of simila.ity（a.OSIM） results revea.ed significa.t differences in species compositions both between da. a.d night,a.d between spring a.d nea. *** beds a.e highly productive ma.ine ecosystem,a.d thus,our results will contribute to conserva.ion of sea.ra.s ecosystem in the study a.ea.
