本文研究了填充高密度聚乙烯的天然橡胶混烁胶。从中发现,这种混炼胶满足幂函数规律,并显示出准塑性。同时本文还按不同的剪切速率就温度对剪切粘度,流动特性指数(n′)和压出胶变形的影响作了研究。我们在温度范围为70～100℃条件下测定了硫化胶的流动活化能(E)。从中我们发现E(流动活化能)随着高密度聚乙烯含量的增大和剪切速率的下降而增高;n′(流动特性指数)随着塑料含量的增加而降低。然而,在所研究的温度范围内,没有观察到什么特别的趋向,这表明加工温度不是关键性的。在出胶膨胀率随着高密度聚乙烯含量的增加而降低,同时发现压出变形与剪切速率无关。

Correlation analysis of solar wind parameters, namely solar wind velocity, proton density, proton temperature and mean interplanetary magnetic field （IMF） from the ACE spacecraft data near Earth, was done. To our best knowledge, this study is a novel one since we consider here only the parameters inside the solar wind, including the mean IMF and, hence, the solar wind is a self consistent system. We have proposed a Multiple Linear Regression （MLR） model for the prediction of the response variable （solar wind velocity） using the parameters proton density, proton temperature and mean IMF measured as daily averages. About 60% of the observed value can be predicted using this model. It is shown that, in general, the correlation between solar wind parameters is significant. A deviation from the prediction at the solar maximum is interpreted. These results are verified by a graphical method.

This paper presents the effect of mooring diameters, fairlead slopes and pretensions on the dynamic responses of a truss spar platform in intact and damaged line conditions. The platform is modelled as a rigid body with three degrees-of-freedom and its motions are analysed in time-domain using the implicit Newmark Beta technique. The mooring restoring force-excursion relationship is evaluated using quasi-static approach. MATLAB codes DATSpar and QSAML, are developed to compute the dynamic responses of truss spar platform and to determine the mooring system stiffness. To eliminate the conventional trial and error approach in the mooring system design, a numerical tool is also developed and described in this paper for optimising the mooring configuration. It has a graphical user interface and includes regrouping particle swarm optimisation technique combined with DATSpar and QSAML. A case study of truss spar platform with ten mooring lines is analysed using this numerical tool. The results show that optimum mooring system design benefits the oil and gas industry to economise the project cost in terms of material, weight, structural load onto the platform as well as manpower requirements. This tool is useful especially for the preliminary design of truss spar platforms and its mooring system.

A sediment core(ABP24/05),collected at a water depth of 3520 m from the southeastern Bay of Bengal was studied to determine the change in chemical weathering during the last glacial to deglacial periods and the factors of sedimentary environment which controlled earliest diagenetic changes in the sediment after its *** ratios of K/Rb,Ti/Al and Zr/Rb during~45 to~18 cal kyr *** the core sediments may be attributed to the stronger physical erosion and turbidity currents activity during this *** might have brought a higher quantity of unaltered minerals to the study *** ratios of K/Rb,Zr/Rb,and Ti/Al and increase of SiO_(2)/TiO_(2),Rb/Al and Cs/Al from~18 cal kyr *** present may be indicating an increase in the rate of chemical weathering during this *** time of increased chemical weathering in the study area is consistent with deglaciation warming in the tropical Indian Ocean and strengthening of river runoff into the Andaman *** change during the interglacial period by increased solar insolation thereby strengthened the summer monsoon which might have led to intensified chemical weathering in the source region since~18 cal kyr *** low organic carbon(OC),high Mn/Al,Fe/Al and the Mn-oxides minerals precipitation indicate prevailing of oxic conditions during~11 cal kyr *** the core sediments,which is contradictory to suboxic conditions developed in the deep ocean sediments in the western Bay of Bengal and the equatorial Indian *** low terrigenous influx and export of less OC to the bottom sediments might have created a favorable condition for the formation of Mn-oxides in the study area during Holocene.

The dynamic responses of any floating platform arc dependent on the mass, stiffness and damping characteristics of the body as well as mooring system. Therefore, it is very essential to study the effect of individual contributions to the system that can finally help to economise their cost. This paper focuses on the effect of mooring stiffness on the responses of a truss spar platform, obtained by different grouping of lines. The study is part of our present researches on mooring systems which include the effect of line pretension, diameter and azimuth angles. The platform is modelled as a rigid body with three degrees-of-freedom and its motions are analyzed in time-domain using the implicit Newmark Beta technique. The mooring lines restoring force-excursion relationship is evaluated using a quasi-static approach. It is observed that the mooring system with lines arranged in less number of groups exhibits better performance in terms of the restoring forces as well as mean position of platform. However, the dynamic motions of platform remain unaffected for different line groups.

Background: Primary neuritic leprosy (PNL) is a rare form of leprosy where the characteristic skin lesions are absent. Investigations of apparently normal skin from the areas of sensory change have revealed microscopic evidence of nerve involvement. Clinical studies have found that a proportion of patients develop visible skin lesions during follow- up. The aim of the study was to perform a clinical and histological analysis of PNL patients who developed visible skin lesions during treatment and follow- up, to gain insight into the pathogenesis of the disease. Methods: Twenty- nine individuals in a series of 182 PNL patients developed visible skin lesions during follow- up. Analysis of the number, location, histology and time of onset of the new skin lesions in relation to the type and regularity of the treatment regimen were noted. A biopsy from the new skin lesion when available was compared with the nerve biopsy findings at the time of initial diagnosis. Results: Thirty- eight per cent of patients developed a single patch and 28% developed two patches. Over three- quarters of these were on the lower limb (47% ) or the upper limb (29% ). Sixty- two per cent of patients developed the lesions within 2 years of the onset of symptoms. Patients on regular treatment developed patches earlier than those on irregular treatment or no treatment. A skin biopsy from the new patch revealed borderline tuberculoid leprosy histology in 47% of the patients. Conclusions: The findings suggest that leprosy primarily affects the nerve and that a neuritic phase precedes the development of visible cutaneous lesions.
