Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreve rsible blindness wo rldwide,and previous studies have shown that,in addition to affecting the eyes,it also causes abnormalities in the ***,it is not yet clear how the primary visual cortex(V1)is altered in *** study used DBA/2j mice as a model for spontaneous secondary *** aim of the study was to compare the electrophysiological and histomorphological chara cteristics of neurons in the V1between 9-month-old DBA/2j mice and age-matched C57Bl/6j *** conducted single-unit recordings in the V1 of light-anesthetized mice to measure the visually induced responses,including single-unit spiking and gamma band *** morphology of layerⅡ/Ⅲneurons was determined by neuronal nuclear antigen staining and Nissl staining of brain tissue ***-seven neurons from eight DBA/2j mice and eighty-one neurons from eight C57Bl/6j mice were *** with the C57Bl/6j group,V1 neurons in the DBA/2j group exhibited weaker visual tuning and impaired spatial *** r,fewer neuro ns were observed in the V1 of DBA/2j mice compared with C57Bl/6j *** findings suggest that DBA/2j mice have fewer neurons in the VI compared with C57Bl/6j mice,and that these neurons have impaired visual *** findings provide a better understanding of the pathological changes that occur in V1 neuron function and morphology in the DBA/2j mouse *** study might offer some innovative perspectives regarding the treatment of glaucoma.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of Mg alloys seriously limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily forms many intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy composite coating on Mg alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembly *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneously dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce film connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of bare Mg alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the improvement of multi-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of Mg alloys.

line-commutated converter (lCC)-based high-voltage DC (hVDC) systems have been integrated with bulk AC power grids for interregional transmission of renewable power. The nonlinear lCC model brings additional nonconvexity to optimal power flow (OPF) of hybrid AC-DC power grids. A convexification method for the lCC station model could address such nonconvexity but has rarely been discussed. We devise an equivalent reformulation for classical lCC station models that facilitates second-order cone convex relaxation for the OPF of lCC-based AC-DC power grids. We also propose sufficient conditions for exactness of convex relaxation with its proof. Equivalence of the proposed lCC station models and properties, exactness, and effectiveness of convex relaxation are verified using four numerical simulations. Simulation results demonstrate a globally optimal solution of the original OPF can be efficiently obtained from relaxed model.

The design and synthesis of self-suspending photocatalyst device with easy recyclability is important for practical ***,this work utilizes aluminum-plastic package waste as raw material to prepare an aluminum-plastic supported TiO_(2)(AP-TiO_(2))photocatalyst device through 3D printing design and surface deposition method.A series of characterizations were carried out to explore the structure,morphology and performance of the AP-TiO_(2)*** UV light illumination,the AP-TiO_(2)-50 efficiently degrade 93.6%tetracycline hydrochloride(ThC)after 4 hr,which increases by 8.3%compared with that of TiO_(2)powder suspension system with the same catalyst *** on it,AP-ZnO,AP-CdS,AP-g-C_3N_4and AP-Pt-TiO_(2)are also fabricated,and applied in photocatalytic degradation and hydrogen evolution,which all exhibit higher photoactivities than powder suspension *** work provides a new avenue for the fabrication of advanced recyclable photocatalyst ***,the work offers a novel sight for the high-value utilization of aluminum-plastic package waste,which has positive implications for environmental protection.

Functional materials with multiple properties are urgent to be explored to reach high requirements for applications *** this work,a new multifunctional one-dimensional(1D)chain compound[N(C_(3)h_(7))_(4)][Cu(ohpma)]·h_(2)O 1(ohpma=deprotonated N-(2-hydoxyphenyl)oxamic acid)exhibiting both 1D antiferromagnetic and nonlinear optical properties,which are both originated from the same polar[Cu(C_(8)h_(4)NO_(4))]magnetic units,has been successfully synthesized by evaporation at room ***-polydentate nature of the(ohpma)3−ligand with constrained tridentate and bidentate coordination sites conducts Cu^(2+)ions coordinating in different geometries and forms 1D chains along the c axis,which are further separated by the[N(C_(3)h_(7))_(4)]+*** the 1D magnetic chains further exhibit noncentrosymmetric polar *** optical study shows polar compound 1 exhibits a discernible second-harmonic generation(ShG)efficiency and the calculation of the partial density of states indicates that the ShG efficiency of 1 is mainly originated from the polar[Cu(C_(8)h_(4)NO_(4))]magnetic ***,magnetic susceptibility shows a broad maximum around 70 K with strong intrachain interaction of j/k B=−113.0 K but no long-range order is observed down to 2 K,suggesting that 1 shows a good 1D *** good 1D magnetism and ShG activity suggest that 1 could be as a potential multifunctional material,particularly.

Observability analysis(OA)is vital to obtaining the available input measurements of state estimation(SE)in an integrated electricity and heating system(IEhS).Considering the thermal quasi-dynamics in pipelines,the measurement equations in heating systems are dependent on the estimated results,leading to an interdependency between OA and *** OA methods require measurement equations be known exactly before SE is performed,and they are not applicable to *** bridge this gap,a scenario-based OA scheme for IEhSs is devised that yields reliable analysis results for a predefined set of time-delay scenarios to cope with this *** its core procedure,the observable state identification and observability restoration are formulated in terms of integer linear *** tests are conducted to demonstrate the validity and superiority of the proposed formulation.
