Spectrophotometric method has been developed for the direct quantitative determination of captopril in pharmaceutical preparation and biological fluids （human plasma and urine） samples. The method was accomplished based on parallel factor analysis （PARAFAC） and partial least squares （PLS）. The study was carried out in the pH range from 2.0 to 12.8 and with a concentration from 0.70 to 61.50μg mL^-1 of captopril. Multivariate calibration models such as PLS at various pH and PARAFAC were elaborated from ultraviolet spectra deconvolution and captopril determination. The best models for this system were obtained with PARAFAC and PLS at pH 2.0. The applications of the method for determination of real samples were evaluated by analysis of captopril in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids with satisfactory results. The accuracy of the method, evaluated through the RMSEE was 0.5801 for captopril with best calibration curve by PARAFAC and 0.6168 for captopril with PLS at pH 2.0 model.

Coal washing plants are usually fed from various sources. Coals include different combinations which should be considered for increasing the plant proficiency. Thus different methods have been used to enrich various coal types. In this study, Alborz-Sharghi coal washing plant was investigated which is fed from five coalmines. The optimum recovery was achieved for all coal types individually through experimental design. The controllable operation parameters in the experiments were collector dosage,frother dosage, solid percent content and particle size. The other parameters such as impeller speed,pH, conditioning time and flotation time were kept constant for all experiments. The optimum combination of coals was also specified. The results show that the optimum recovery for coal blends is 91.2%which shows much improvement relative to the plant conditions.

Use of environmentally friendly approaches with the purpose of strengthening soil layers along with finding correlations between the mechanical characteristics of fiber-reinforced soils such as indirect tensile strength(ITS)and California bearing ratio(CBR)and as well as the evaluation of shear strength parameters obtained from the triaxial test would be very effective at geotechnical construction *** research was aimed at investigating the influence of natural fibers as sustainable ones including basalt(BS)and bagasse(BG)as well as synthetic polyester(PET)fibers on the strength behavior of clayey *** this end,the effects of various fiber contents(0.5%,1%and 2%)and lengths(2.5 mm,5 mm and 7.5 mm)were experimentally *** conducting ITS and CBR tests,it was found that increasing fiber content and length had a significant influence on CBR and ITS ***,2%of 7.5 mm-long fibers led to the largest values of CBR and *** CBR values of soil reinforced with PET,BS,and BG fibers were determined as 19.17%,15.43%and 13.16%,*** ITS values of specimens reinforced with PET,BS,and BG fibers were reported as 48.57 kPa,60.7 kPa and 47.48 kPa,*** results of the triaxial compression test revealed that with the addition of BS fibers,the internal friction angle increased by about 100%,and with the addition of PET fibers,the cohesion increased by about 70%.Moreover,scanning electron microscope(SEM)analysis was employed to confirm the *** relationship between CBR and ITS values,obtained via statistical analysis and used for the optimum design of road pavement layers,demonstrated that these parameters had high correlation *** outcomes of multiple linear regression and sensitivity analysis also confirmed that the fiber content had a greater effect on CBR and ITS values than fiber length.

Filtration and membrane separation are popular methods in gas separation since they are cost and energy efficient. Despite to air filters, there are comparatively few studies on dry gas filters, particularly at industrial scale. In fact, major unsolved challenges such as high efficiency, low pressure drop, long-term stability, high-thermal and chemical stability and advanced physiochemical properties, are still remained. The aim of this review is to scrutinize the advanced scientific and technological practices (such as selection of appropriate polymeric materials and additives, nanotechnology, modification techniques and preparation methods) towards design and fabrication of an efficient filter media for solid particles removal from the natural gas flow. Recent progresses in solid particle separation mechanisms, modeling and simulation techniques and the effect of membrane fabrication methods on its performance, strategies for modification of filter media, current challenges and future perspective are discussed.

Application of flame retardants is limited because of environmental requirements. This work introduces conventional magnetic nanoparticles as a new class of nontoxic and effective flame retardant. Fe3O4 enhanced both the thermal stability and flame retardant properties of a poly（vinyl alcohol） matrix. Nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple precipitation reaction without using an inert atmosphere at room temperature. The effects of different precursors and acrylamide on the morphology of the products were investigated. Nanoparticles exhibited a ferrimagnetic behavior at room temperature. To prepare the magnetic nanocomposite, Fe3O4 nanoparticles were added to the poly（vinyl alcohol）. In the presence of a flame, the magnetic nanoparticles remained together, showed resistance to dripping and protected the polymer matrix. Dispersed nanoparticles play a role of a magnetic barrier layer, which slows product volatilization and prevents flames and oxygen from reaching the sample during decomposition of the polymer.

An experimental approach for measuring carbon dioxide diffusion coefficient in water and oil under supercritical conditions

Several direct or indirect approaches have been proposed to measure diffusion coefficient of gases into *** main complexity of indirect techniques such as pressure decay method is interpreting early pressure-time data which strongly affected by incubation period effect or convective *** the current approach,accurate apparatus and precise experimental setup including a high pressure and temperature PVT cell,a high precision Sanchez pump,heating and recording sub-system are implemented and a novel data analysis procedure is applied to modify pressure decay *** effect of incubation period is reduced remarkably and diffusion coefficient of carbon dioxide in water in wide range of pressures and temperatures is determined and the effects of temperature,pressure and carbon dioxide phase alteration from gas to supercritical are investigated and the value of uncertainty is ***,diffusion coefficient of CO_(2) and methane in an oil sample from one of the Iranian southwest oil formations is determined precisely using the experimental approach while no incubation period is *** results showed that incubation period duration decreases with increasing diffusion ***,when CO_(2) state is gas,rate of increasing diffusion coefficient with pressure is decreased with temperature and when CO_(2) state is supercritical,the rate of increasing diffusion coefficient with pressure is decreased significantly.

Ceramic reinforced metal matrix nanocomposites are widely used in aerospace and auto industries due to their enhanced mechanical and physical *** this research,we investigate the mechanical properties of aluminum/Nano-silica composites through experiments and ***/Nanosilica composite samples with different weight percentages of silica nanoparticles are prepared via powder *** this method,Nano-silica and aluminum powders are mixed and compressed in a mold,followed by sintering at high *** tensile testing of the nanocomposite samples shows that adding one percent of Nano-silica causes a considerable increase in mechanical properties of nanocomposite compared to pure aluminum.A computational micromechanical model,based on a representative volume element of aluminum/silica nanocomposite,is developed in a commercial finite element *** model employs an elastoplastic material model along with a ductile damage model for aluminum matrix and linear elastic model for nano-silica *** careful determination of model parameters from the experimental results of pure aluminum samples prepared by powder metallurgy,the proposed computational model has shown satisfactory agreement with *** validated computational model can be used to perform a parametric study to optimize the microstructure of nanocomposite for enhanced mechanical properties.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary 1α-hydroxycholecalciferol(1α-OH-D3)in calcium(Ca)-and phosphorous(P)-deficient diets on growth performance, carcass characteristics,tibia related parameters, and immune responses of broiler chickens. A total of 280 one-day-old broiler chickens(Ross 308) were assigned to 20 floor pens and 4 dietary treatments with 5 replicates. Dietary treatments consisted of starter diets(starter diet of treatment A: 1% Ca, 0.73% total phosphorus [tP];starter diet of treatment B: 0.85% Ca.0.64% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3;starter diet of treatment C: 0.85%Ca, 0.59% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3;starter diet of treatment D: 0.85% Ca, 0.54% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OHD3), grower diets(grower diet of treatment A: 0.86% Ca, 0.68% tP;grower diet of treatment B: 0.73% Ca,0.59% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3;grower diet of treatment C: 0.73% Ca, 0.55% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3;grower diet of treatment D: 0.73% Ca, 0.50% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3) and finisher diets(finisher diet of treatment A: 0.81% Ca, 0.64% tP;finisher diet of treatment B: 0.68% Ca, 0.56% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3;finisher diet of treatment C: 0.68% Ca,0,52% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3;finisher diet of treatment D: 0.68%Ca.0.48% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-D3). Results showed that body weight gain(BWG) and feed intake(FI) of broilers in treatment B were similar to those of broilers in treatment A at the end of the trial(P 0.05). Dietary treatments had no significant effect on antibody titers against Newcastle and Influenza disease viruses as well as sheep red blood cells. Dietary treatments had no significant effects on tibia ash and tibial dyschondroplasia score. Broilers fed Ca-P deficient diets had lower tibia Ca and P than those in treatment A(P
