Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effects in Eu(Ti,Nb,Mn)O_(3) perovskites

In perovskite EuTiO_(3),the magnetic characteristics and magnetocaloric effect(McE) can be flexibly regulated by converting the magnetism from antiferromagnetic to *** the present work,a series of Eu(Ti,Nb,Mn)O_(3) compounds,abbreviated as ETNMO for convenience of description,was fabricated and their crystallography,magnetism together with cryogenic magnetocaloric effects were systematically *** crystallographic results demonstrate the cubic perovskite structure for all the compounds,with the space group of *** magnetic phase transitions are observed in these second-order phase transition(SOPT) *** joint substitution of elements Mn and Nb can considerably manipulate the magnetic phase transition process and magnetocaloric performance of the ETNMO *** the Mn content increases,gradually widened-ΔS_(M)-T curves are obtained,and two peaks with a broad shoulder are observed in the-ΔS_(M)-T curves for Δμ_(0)H≤0-1 *** a field change of 0-5 T,the values of maximum magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_(M)^(max)) and refrigeration capacity(Rc) are evaluated to be 34.7 j/(kg·K) and 364.9 j/kg for EuTi_(0.8625)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.075)O_(3), 27.8 j/(kg·K) and367.6 j/kg for EuTi_(0.8375)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.1)O_(3),23.2 j/(kg·K) and 369.2 j/kg for EuTi_(0.8125)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.125)O_(3),17.1 j/(kg·K) and 357.6 j/kg for EuTi_(0.7875)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.15)O_(3),*** co nsiderable McE parameters make the ETNMO compounds potential candidates for cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

Drilling-based measuring method for the c-φ parameter of rock and its field application

The technology of drilling tests makes it possible to obtain the strength parameter of rock accurately in situ. In this paper, a new rock cutting analysis model that considers the influence of the rock crushing zone(RcZ) is built. The formula for an ultimate cutting force is established based on the limit equilibrium principle. The relationship between digital drilling parameters(DDP) and the c-φ parameter(DDP-cφ formula, where c refers to the cohesion and φ refers to the internal friction angle) is derived, and the response of drilling parameters and cutting ratio to the strength parameters is analyzed. The drillingbased measuring method for the c-φ parameter of rock is constructed. The laboratory verification test is then completed, and the difference in results between the drilling test and the compression test is less than 6%. On this basis, in-situ rock drilling tests in a traffic tunnel and a coal mine roadway are carried out, and the strength parameters of the surrounding rock are effectively tested. The average difference ratio of the results is less than 11%, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method for obtaining the strength parameters based on digital drilling. This study provides methodological support for field testing of rock strength parameters.

High-Efficiency Dynamic Scanning Strategy for Powder Bed Fusion by controlling Temperature Field of the Heat-Affected Zone

Improvement of fabrication efficiency and part performance was the main challenge for the large-scale powder bed fusion(PBF)*** this study,a dynamic monitoring and feedback system of powder bed temperature field using an infrared thermal imager has been established and integrated into a four-laser PBF equipment with a working area of 2000 mm×2000 *** heat-affected zone(HAZ)temperature field has been controlled by adjusting the scanning speed ***,the relationship among spot size,HAZ temperature,and part performance has been *** fluctuation of the HAZ temperature in four-laser scanning areas was decreased from 30.85℃to 17.41℃.Thus,the consistency of the sintering performance of the produced large component has been *** on the controllable temperature field,a dynamically adjusting strategy for laser spot size was proposed,by which the fabrication efficiency was improved up to 65.38%.The current research results were of great significance to the further industrial applications of large-scale PBF equipment.

Mathematical modeling and simulations of stress mitigation by coating polycrystalline particles in lithium-ion batteries

A chemo-mechanical model is developed to investigate the effects on the stress development of the coating of polycrystalline Ni-rich LiNixMnyco_(z)O_(2)(x≥0.8)(NMc)particles with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT).The simulation results show that the coating of primary NMc particles significantly reduces the stress generation by efficiently accommodating the volume change associated with the lithium diffusion,and the coating layer plays roles both as a cushion against the volume change and a channel for the lithium transport,promoting the lithium distribution across the secondary particles more ***,the lower stiffness,higher ionic conductivity,and larger thickness of the coating layer improve the stress *** paper provides a mathematical framework for calculating the chemo-mechanical responses of anisotropic electrode materials and fundamental insights into how the coating of NMc active particles mitigates stress levels.

In the practical environment,it is very common for the simultaneous occurrence of base excitation and *** the combined energy of vibration and wind with a single energy harvesting structure is *** this purpose,the effects of the wind speed and random excitation level are investigated with the stochastic averaging method(SAM)based on the energy *** results of the analytical prediction are verified with the Monte-carlo method(McM).The numerical simulation shows that the introduction of wind can reduce the critical excitation level for triggering an inter-well jump and make a bi-stable energy harvester(BEH)realize the performance enhancement for a weak base ***,as the strength of the wind increases to a particular level,the influence of the random base excitation on the dynamic responses is weakened,and the system exhibits a periodic galloping response.A comparison between a BEH and a linear energy harvester(LEH)indicates that the BEH demonstrates inferior performance for high-speed *** experiments are conducted to investigate the validity of the theoretical prediction and numerical *** experimental findings also show that strong random excitation is favorable for the BEH in the range of low wind ***,as the speed of the incoming wind is up to a particular level,the disadvantage of the BEH becomes clear and evident.

Genome-Wide characterization of the Hyaluronidase Gene Family and Their Potential Roles in Viviparous Black Rockfish(Sebastes schlegeli)

Black rockfish(Sebastes schlegelii)has evolved viviparous reproduction *** from the oviparous fishes,the spermatozoa of black rockfish are stored on the surface of ovarian follicle for over four months until the egg mature in ovary,while the adaptive evolution of fertilization-related genes remains to be *** the present study,based on the genome and transcriptome information of black rockfish,a total of 10 hyaluronidase genes were identified by phylogenetic and sequence analyses,including hyal1,hyal2,hyal3,hyal4,hyal6 and spam1a,spam1b,spam1c and *** spam1 subfamilies,including spam1a,spam1b,spam1c and spam1d,were significantly expanded compared to other *** adaptive evolution of hyaluronidase was further investigated by selection pressure analysis of branch model and branch site *** results showed that only spam1 subfamily was positively selected with a large number of positive selection sites,and the evolution rate was significantly higher thanthose of other *** positively selected sites,LYS-171 and GLY-164,were located in the neutral hyaluronidase activity domain,which was pivotal for SPAM1 to participate in enzymatic hydrolysis of the extracellular hyaluronic acid matrix and mediate acrosome reaction in ***,spam1 was mainly expressed in spermatocytes,secondary spermatocytes,and spermatids of testis,whereas it was not found in metamorphic sperm and mature sperm based on the spatiotemporal expression *** results indicated that spam1 might originate from the testis and might be an adaptation of viviparous trait in black rockfish.

Multi-wavelength Brillouin erbium-doped fiber laser with 40 GHz frequency shift interval assisted by Sagnac loop filter

A switchable and tunable multi-wavelength Brillouin erbium-doped fiber laser(MWBEFL) is designed and experimentally demonstrated. A Sagnac loop filter is employed as the switcher to obtain the double Brillouin frequency shift(BFS) of 0.172 nm(~20 GHz) and the quadruple BFS of 0.35 nm(~40 GHz). The working principles of the proposed laser are theoretically analyzed. The experimental results show that up to 8 Stokes lines with a wavelength interval of 0.172 nm can be obtained. When the Sagnac loop filter is used, two different output spectra with wavelength interval of 0.35 nm are obtained by adjusting the polarization controller(Pc) and the optical signal-to-noise ratio(OSNR) is greater than 33 dB. By adjusting the Brillouin pump(BP) wavelength to investigate the tunability of the fiber laser, the output of 2—5 laser channels can be realized corresponding to 20 nm wavelength range. This approach is simple and can be employed for the microwave generation of other frequency ranges subject to the filtering shift of the Sagnac loop.
