Sequence-activated chemiluminescence(CL) technique offers a unique approach to detecting specific biomolecules or cellular events with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. The fundamental principle behind sequence-activated CL probes involves tailoring highly-controllable CL signals in response to specific sequences or events of interest, thus enabling high-contrast signals under complex physiological conditions. This sequential activation could be triggered by enzymes, reactive oxygen species(ROS), biothiols or changes in the microenvironment. These unique sequence-activated CL probes bestow several advantages, including minimal background, deep-tissue penetration, and the ability of non-invasive or minimally invasive detection. The sequence-activated CL techniques represent a significant advancement in molecular imaging and diagnostics. In this mini-review, we focus on the latest developments in sequential CL probes, addressing the technical challenges and discussing the future trajectory by harnessing CL signaling and molecular recognition.

The problem of a screw dislocation interacting with a circular nano-inhomogeneity near a bimaterial interface is investigated. The stress boundary condition at the interface between the inhomogeneity and the matrix is modified by incorporating surface/interface stress. The analytical solutions to the problem in explicit series are obtained by an efficient complex variable method associated with the conformal mapping function. The image force exerted on the screw dislocation is also derived using the generalized Peach–Koehler formula. The results indicate that the elastic interference of the screw dislocation and the nano-inhomogeneity is strongly affected by a combination of material elastic dissimilarity, the radius of the inclusion, the distance from the center of inclusion to the bimaterial interface, and the surface/interface stress between the inclusion and the matrix. Additionally, it is found that when the inclusion and Material 3 are both harder than the matrix（ μ1 〉 μ2 and μ3 〉 μ2）, a new stable equilibrium position for the screw dislocation in the matrix appears near the bimaterial interface; when the inclusion and Material 3 are both softer than the matrix（ μ1 〈 μ2 and μ3 〈 μ2）, a new unstable equilibrium position exists close to the bimaterial interface.

This paper presents a novel tracking algorithm which integrates two complementary trackers. Firstly, an improved Bayesian tracker(B-tracker) with adaptive learning rate is presented. The classification score of B-tracker reflects tracking reliability, and a low score usually results from large appearance change. Therefore, if the score is low, we decrease the learning rate to update the classifier fast so that B-tracker can adapt to the variation and vice versa. In this way, B-tracker is more suitable than its traditional version to solve appearance change problem. Secondly, we present an improved incremental subspace learning method tracker(Stracker). We propose to calculate projected coordinates using maximum posterior probability, which results in a more accurate reconstruction error than traditional subspace learning tracker. Instead of updating at every time, we present a stopstrategy to deal with occlusion problem. Finally, we present an integrated framework(BAST), in which the pair of trackers run in parallel and return two candidate target states separately. For each candidate state, we define a tracking reliability metrics to measure whether the candidate state is reliable or not, and the reliable candidate state will be chosen as the target state at the end of each frame. Experimental results on challenging sequences show that the proposed approach is very robust and effective in comparison to the state-of-the-art trackers.

With the large-scale integration of distributed photovoltaic (DPV) in the distribution network, voltage exceeding limits and fluctuations are becoming increasingly severe. The voltage and reactive power optimization and coordination control method considering new power quality management devices needs to be further improved to adapt to the new changes in the power grid. This article considers the power quality regulation effect of the new flexible on-load tap changer (OLTC) and proposes a two-stage voltage and reactive power optimization coordinated control method. The first stage is the day before hour level scheduling stage. Based on distributed photovoltaic and load prediction data, the active output results of DPV and the switching results of flexible OLTC taps and capacitor banks are obtained through power flow calculation and iterative optimization. The second stage is the minute-level reactive power optimization stage. Based on the first stage, considering the reactive power output characteristics of flexible OLTC and DPV, adjusting the reactive power output of the equipment while correcting the capacitor bank switching combination in the first stage, further reducing the maximum voltage deviation of each node and making the distribution network voltage distribution more reasonable. An IEEE33 node distribution system simulation model is built in the paper. The proposed two-stage voltage and reactive power optimization coordination control method considering flexible OLTC can improve the DPV absorption level by 9.29% based on the conventional economic optimal goal of 88.07%, while meeting the requirement that the voltage deviation of the entire node is less than 0.1pu During the entire period, the overall economic efficiency improved by 7.8%. Conversational systems have come a long way since their inception in the 1960 *** decades of research and development,we have seen progress from Eliza and Parry in the 1960 s and 1970 s,to task-completion systems as in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency(DARPA) communicator program in the 2000 s,to intelligent personal assistants such as Siri,in the 2010 s,to today's social chatbots like xiao *** chatbots' appeal lies not only in their ability to respond to users' diverse requests,but also in being able to establish an emotional connection with *** latter is done by satisfying users' need for communication,affection,as well as social *** further the advancement and adoption of social chatbots,their design must focus on user engagement and take both intellectual quotient(IQ) and emotional quotient(EQ) into *** should want to engage with a social chatbot;as such,we define the success metric for social chatbots as conversation-turns per session(CPS).Using xiao Ice as an illustrative example,we discuss key technologies in building social chatbots from core chat to visual awareness to *** also show how xiao Ice can dynamically recognize emotion and engage the user throughout long conversations with appropriate interpersonal *** we become the first generation of humans ever living with artificial intelligenc(AI),we have a responsibility to design social chatbots to be both useful and empathetic,so they will become ubiquitous and help society as a whole.

A novel framework is established for accurate modeling of Powered Parafoil Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(PPUAV). The model is developed in the following three steps: obtaining a linear dynamic model, simplifying the model structure, and estimating the model mismatch due to model variance and external disturbance factors. First, a six degree-of-freedom linear model, or the structured model, is obtained through dynamic establishment and linearization. Second, the data correlation analysis is adopted to determine the criterion for proper model complexity and to simplify the structured model. Next, an active model is established, combining the simplified model with the model mismatch estimator. An adapted Kalman filter is utilized for the real-time estimation of states and model mismatch. We finally derive a linear system model while taking into account of model variance and external disturbance. Actual flight tests verify the effectiveness of our active model in different flight scenarios.

The load power range of modern processors is greatly enlarged because many advanced power management techniques are employed, such as dynamic voltage frequency scaling, Turbo Boosting, and near-threshold voltage （NTV） technologies. However, because the efficiency of power delivery varies greatly with different load conditions, conventional power delivery designs cannot maintain high efficiency over the entire voltage spectrum, and the gained power saving may be offset by power loss in power delivery. We propose SuperRange, a wide operational range power delivery unit. SuperRange complements the power delivery capability of on-chip voltage regulator and off-chip voltage regulator. On top of SuperRange, we analyze its power conversion characteristics and propose a voltage regulator （VR） aware power management algorithm. Moreover, as more and more cores have been integrated on a singe chip, multiple SuperRange units can serve as basic building blocks to build, in a highly scalable way, more powerful power delivery subsystem with larger power capacity. Experimental results show SuperRange unit offers lx and 1.3x higher power conversion efficiency （PCE） than other two conventional power delivery schemes at NTV region and exhibits an average 70% PCE over entire operational range. It also exhibits superior resilience to power-constrained systems.

Satisfiability modulo theories (SMT) play a key role in verification applications. A crucial SMT problem is to combine separate theory solvers for the union of theories. In previous work, the simplex method is used to determine the solvability of constraint systems and the equalities implied by constraint systems are detected by a multitude of applications of the dual simplex method. We present an effective simplex tableau-based method to identify all implicit equalities such that the simplex method is harnessed to an irreducible minimum. Experimental results show that the method is feasible and effective.
