Electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate to ammonia has been considered a promising and sustainable pathway for pollutant treatment and ammonia has significant potential as a clean ***,the method has received much *** this work,Cu/Fe 2D bimetallic metal-organic frameworks were synthesized by a facile method applied as cathode materials without high-temperature *** centers(Cu,Fe)with enhanced intrinsic activity demonstrated higher removal ***,the 2D nanosheet reduced themass transfer barrier between the catalyst and nitrate and increased the reaction ***,the catalysts with a 2D structure showed much better removal efficiency than other structures(3D MOFs and BulkMOFs).Under optimal conditions,Cu/Fe-2D MOF exhibited high nitrate removal efficiency(87.8%)and ammonium selectivity(89.3%)*** ammonium yielded up to significantly 907.2μg/(hr·mg_(cat))(7793.8μg/(hr·mg_(metal)))with Faradaic efficiency of 62.8%at an initial 100 mg N/*** catalyst was proved to have good stability and was recycled 15 times with excellent *** simulations confirm the reduced Gibbs free energy of Cu/Fe-2D *** study demonstrates the promising application of Cu/Fe-2D MOF in nitrate reduction to ammonia and provides new insights for the design of efficient electrode materials.

In the face of data scarcity in the optimization of maintenance strategies for civil aircraft,traditional failure data-driven methods are encountering challenges owing to the increasing reliability of aircraft *** study addresses this issue by presenting a novel combined data fusion algorithm,which serves to enhance the accuracy and reliability of failure rate analysis for a specific aircraft model by integrating historical failure data from similar models as supplementary *** a comprehensive analysis of two different maintenance projects,this study illustrates the application process of the *** upon the analysis results,this paper introduces the innovative equal integral value method as a replacement for the conventional equal interval method in the context of maintenance schedule *** Monte Carlo simulation example validates that the equivalent essential value method surpasses the traditional method by over 20%in terms of inspection efficiency *** discovery indicates that the equal critical value method not only upholds maintenance efficiency but also substantially decreases workload and maintenance *** findings of this study open up novel perspectives for airlines grappling with data scarcity,offer fresh strategies for the optimization of aviation maintenance practices,and chart a new course toward achieving more efficient and cost-effective maintenance schedule optimization through refined data analysis.

RBOE is a new type of DNAN-based high-energy melt-cast mixed explosive,whose safety under thermal stimulation is significantly affected by heating conditions and venting area of the *** on the thermal decomposition reaction characteristics and combustion characteristics of each component of RBOE explosive,the cook-off calculation models of RBOE warhead before and after ignition were *** addition,closed and vented warheads were designed,as well as fast and slow cook-off test *** cook-off characteristics and thermal safety venting area of RBOE warhead were extensively *** results showed that the closed RBOE warhead underwent deflagration reaction under both slow and fast cook-off *** calculation result of the shell wall temperature before slow cookoff ignition response of the warhead was 454.06 K,with an error of+1.75%compared to the test result of462.15 K,and the temperature rise rate calculated was in good agreement with the *** calculated ignition time of RBOE warhead under fast cook-off was 161 s,with an error of+8.8%compared to the test result of 148 s,which verified the accuracy of cook-off model of RBOE warhead before *** to the cook-off calculation model of the warhead after ignition and cook-off test of the vented warhead,it was determined that the thermal safety venting area was 1124.61 mm^(2)for fast cook-off and 530.66 mm~2 for slow cook-off,effectively preventing the reaction of warhead above ***,this study provides a scientific basis for the thermal safety design and evaluation of insensitive warheads.

Nitrogen-doping of carbon support（N-C） for platinum（Pt） nanoparticles to form Pt/N-C catalyst represents an effective strategy to promote the electrocatalysis of cathodic oxygen reduction reaction（ORR）in proton exchange membrane fuel cells. For fundamental understanding, clearly identifying the metalsupport effect on enhancement mechanisms of ORR electrocatalysis is definitely needed. In this work,the impact of Pt-support interaction via interfacial Pt-N coordination on electrocatalytic ORR activity and stability in Pt/N-C catalyst is deeply studied through structural/compositional characterizations,electrochemical measurements and theoretical DFT-calculations/AIMD-simulations. The resulting Pt/N-C catalyst exhibits a superior electrocatalytic performance compared to the commercial Pt/C catalyst in both half-cell and H2-O2fuel cell. Experimental and theoretical results reveal that the interfacial Pt-N coordination enables electron transfer from N-C support to Pt nanoparticles, which can weaken the adsorption strength of oxygen intermediates on Pt surface to improve ORR activity and induce the strong Pt-support interaction to enhance electrochemical stability.

We report the detection of an extended very-high-energy(VHE) γ-ray source coincident with the location of middle-aged(62.4 kyr) pulsar PsR j0248+6021, by using the LHAAsO-WCDA data of live 796 d and LHAAsO-KM2A data of live 1216d. A significant excess of γ-ray induced showers is observed both by WCDA in energy bands of 1-25 Te V and KM2A in energy bands of >25 TeV with 7.3σ and 13.5σ, respectively. The best-fit position derived through WCDA data is R.A. = 42.06°± 0.12°and Dec. = 60.24°± 0.13°with an extension of 0.69°±0.15°and that of the KM2A data is R.A.= 42.29°± 0.13°and Dec. =60.38°± 0.07°with an extension of 0.37°±0.07°. No clear extended multiwavelength counterpart of this LHAAsO source has been found from the radio band to the GeV band. The most plausible explanation of the VHE γ-ray emission is the inverse Compton process of highly relativistic electrons and positrons injected by the pulsar. These electrons/positrons are hypothesized to be either confined within the pulsar wind nebula or to have already escaped into the interstellar medium, forming a pulsar halo.

Profiles and driving mechanisms of antibiotic resistome in the polar region are important for exploring the natural evolution of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). Here, we evaluated the profiles of antibiotic resistome in multiple media on Inexpressible Island, Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica. Average concentrations of ARGs in intracellular DNA (iARGs) among water (3.98 × 10sup>6sup> copies/L), soil (3.41 × 10sup>7sup> copies/kg), and penguin guano (7.04 × 10sup>7sup> copies/kg) were higher than those of ARGs in extracellular DNA (eARGs) among water (1.99 × 10sup>4sup> copies/L), soil (1.75 × 10sup>6sup> copies/kg), and penguin guano (8.02 × 10sup>6sup> copies/kg). It was indicated that the transmission of ARGs across different media occurs with around 78.1% of iARGs from soil and 86.7% of iARGs from penguins observed in water, and 80.7% of iARGs and 56.7% of eARGs from penguins found in soil. Annual inputs of ARGs from Adélie penguins on Inexpressible Island have increased since 1983. Bacitracin, multidrug, and aminoglycoside resistance genes were the main ARGs among water, soil, and penguin guano. Primary medium-risk ARGs associated with human pathogenic bacteria were multidrug resistance genes, and main low-risk ARGs associated with mobile genetic elements (MGEs) were aminoglycoside resistance genes. Antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) from soil and penguins were more phylogenetically related to aquatic antibiotic-resistant mesophiles than aquatic antibiotic-resistant psychrophiles. MGEs, ARB, bacterial diversities, antibiotics, and metals could explain total ARGs between water and soil. Intracellular MGEs were the most significant in-situ driver of iARGs in water, reflecting that horizontal gene transfer could facilitate the spread of ARGs in water. Penguins were important ex-situ drivers of environmental antibiotic resistome, which was linked with risky ARGs between water and soil. The Bei Dou satellite system(BDs) has progressed with the full operationalization of the secondgeneration regional system(BDs-2) and the third-generation global system(BDs-3). This technology plays a crucial role in determining Earth Rotation Parameters(ERPs). In this study, we determine the ERPs based on the observations of BDs-2, BDs-3 and BDs-2+BDs-3, with the time spanning from August18, 2022, to August 18, 2023. The IERs EOP 20C04 series is used as a reference to evaluate the accuracy of the ERP estimates. We analyze the impact of different numbers of reference stations, polyhedron volumes, observation arc lengths, satellite types, and satellite systems on solving ERPs using BDs-2 and BDs-3 observation data provided by the International GNss service(IGs) stations. When selecting a specific satellite type, it is necessary to choose an appropriate observation arc length based on different numbers of reference stations while maximizing the volume of the formed polyhedron to achieve optimal efficiency and accuracy in parameter estimation. When both the number of reference stations and observation arc length are fixed, higher precision of the ERPs can be achieved using observations from MEO than MEO + IGsO and MEO + IGsO + GEO. Moreover, when considering only IGsO and MEO satellites as options for analysis purposes, BDs-3 provides higher accuracy compared to BDs-2. In summary, when using BDs for ERP estimation and MEO satellite observations with the same observation arc length,selecting stations from reference stations with larger polyhedral volumes can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of parameter estimation.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-metal batteries (AZMBs) are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems due to their low cost and high ***,their performance and sustainability are significantly hindered by the sluggish desolvation kinetics at the electrode/electrolyte interface and the corresponding hydrogen evolution reaction where active water molecules tightly participate in the Zn(H_(2)O)_(6)^(2+)solvation ***,learnt from self-generated solid electrolyte interphase (sEI) in anodes,the dielectric but ion-conductive zinc niobate nanoparticles artificial layer is constructed on metallic Zn surface (ZNB@Zn),acting as a rapid desolvation *** zincophilic and dielectric-conductive properties of ZNB layer accelerate interfacial desolvation/diffusion and suppress surface corrosion or dendrite formation,achieving uniform Zn plating/stripping behavior,as confirmed by electronic/optical microscopies and interface spectroscopical measurements together with theoretical ***,the as-prepared ZNB@Zn electrode exhibits excellent cycling stability of over 2000 h and robust reversibility (99.54%) even under high current density and depth of discharge ***,the assembled ZNB@Zn-based full cell displays high capacity-retention rate of 80.21%after 3000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1)and outstanding rate performance up to 10 A g^(-1).The large-areal pouch cell is stabilized for hundreds of cycles,highlighting the bright prospects of the dielectric but ion-conductive layer in further application of AZMBs.
