Light carries intrinsic spin angular momentum(SAM)when the electric or mag.e.ic field vector rotates over time.A familiar vector equation calculates the direction of light’s SAM density using the right-hand rule with reference to the electric and mag.e.ic polarisation *** Maxwell’s equations,this vector equation can be decomposed into a sum of two distinct terms,akin to the well-known Poynting vector decomposition into orbital and spin *** present the first general study of this spin decomposition,showing that the two terms,which we call canonical and Poynting spin,are chiral analog.e. to the canonical and spin momenta of light in its interaction with *** canonical momentum,canonical spin is directly *** canonical and Poynting spin incorporate spatial variation of the electric and mag.e.ic fields and are influenced by optical *** decomposition allows us to show that a linearly polarised vortex beam,which has no total SAM,can nevertheless exert longitudinal chiral pressure due to equal and opposite canonical and Poynting spins.

In general, Banach space-valued Riemann integrable functions defined on [0, 1] （equipped with the Lebesg.e.measure） need not be weakly continuous almost everywhere. A Banach space is said to have the weak Lebesg.e.property if every Riemann integrable function taking values in it is weakly continuous almost everywhere. In this paper we discuss this property for the Banach space LX^1 of all Bochner integrable functions from [0, 1] to the Banach space X. We show that LX^1 has the weak Lebesg.e.property whenever X has the Radon-Nikodym property and X＊ is separable. This generalizes the result by Chonghu Wang and Kang Wan [Rocky Mountain j. Math., 31（2）, 697-703 （2001）] that L^1[0, 1] has the weak Lebesg.e.property.

existing pion+nucleus Drell-Yan and electron+pion scattering data are used to develop ensembles of modelindependent representations of the pion generalized parton distribution(gPD).Therewith,one arrives at a datadriven prediction for the pion mass distribution form factor,θ_(2)^(π).Compared with the pion elastic electromag.e.ic form factor,θ_(2)^(π)is harder:the ratio of the radii derived from these two form factors is r_(π)^(θ2)/r_(π)= 0.79(3).our datadriven predictions for the pion gPD,related form factors and distributions should serve as valuable constraints on theories of pion structure.

The N-terminal eF-hand calcium-binding proteins 1–3(NeCAB1–3) constitute a family of predominantly neuronal proteins characterized by the presence of at least one eF-hand calcium-binding domain and a functionally less well characterized C-terminal antibiotic biosynthesis monooxygenase domain. All three family members were initially discovered due to their interactions with other proteins. NeCAB1 associates with synaptotagmin-1, a critical neuronal protein involved in membrane trafficking and synaptic vesicle exocytosis. NeCAB2 interacts with predominantly striatal g-protein-coupled receptors, while NeCAB3 partners with amyloid-β A4 precursor protein-binding family A members 2 and 3, key regulators of amyloid-β production. This demonstrates the capacity of the family for interactions with various classes of proteins. NeCAB proteins exhibit distinct subcellular localizations: NeCAB1 is found in the nucleus and cytosol, NeCAB2 resides in endosomes and the plasma membrane, and NeCAB3 is present in the endoplasmic reticulum and golgi apparatus. The antibiotic biosynthesis monooxygenase domain, an evolutionarily ancient component, is akin to atypical heme oxygenases in prokaryotes but is not wellcharacterized in vertebrates. Prokaryotic antibiotic biosynthesis monooxygenase domains typically form dimers, sug.e.ting that calcium-mediated conformational changes in NeCAB proteins may induce antibiotic biosynthesis monooxygenase domain dimerization, potentially activating some enzymatic properties. However, the substrate for this enzymatic activity remains uncertain. Alternatively, calcium-mediated conformational changes might influence protein interactions or the subcellular localization of NeCAB proteins by controlling the availability of protein–protein interaction domains situated between the eF hands and the antibiotic biosynthesis monooxygenase domain. Clear windows onto emergent hadron mass(eHM)and modulations thereof by Higgs boson interactions are provided by observable measures of pion and kaon structure,many of which are accessible via generalised parton distributions(gPDs).Beginning with algebraic gPD Ansätze,constrained entirely by hadron-scaleπand K valence-parton distribution functions(DFs),in whose forms both eHM and Higgs boson influences are manifest,numerous illustrations are *** include the properties of electromag.e.ic form factors,impact parameter space gPDs,gravitational form factors and associated pressure profiles,and the character and consequences of allorders *** analyses predict that mass-squared gravitational form factors are stiffer than electromag.e.ic form factors;reveal that K pressure profiles are tighter than profiles,with both mesons sustaining near-core pressures at magnitudes similar to that expected at the core of neutron stars;deliver parameter-free predictions for and K valence,glue,and sea gPDs at the resolving scale l=2geV;and predict that at this scale the fraction of meson mass-squared carried by glue and sea combined matches that lodged with the valence deg.e.s-of-freedom,with a similar statement holding for mass-squared radii.
