Water and thermal conditions variation and the vegetation response at semi⁃ arid Basin

Recently, most semi⁃arid basins in China have experienced vegetation greening under significant water and thermal conditions changes, which has exacerbated the shortage of water resources despite the positive effect of increasing carbon sinks and reducing carbon emissions. the study of vegetation response under variations of water and thermal conditions can help to understand the mechanism of the balance between the hydrological processes and vegetation pattern and is of great significance for the sustainable utilization of water resources and ecological protection. however, few studies have focused on the time⁃periodic and segmented response mechanisms of vegetation dynamics to variations of water and thermal conditions, resulting in unclear mechanisms of trade⁃off between vegetation greening and water resources. this study analyzed the varied trends of water and thermal conditions and discussed the spatio⁃temporal response of vegetation from two points: overall trends and varied processes at the upper and middle hailar River Basin from 1980 to 2012 by using trends and wavelet period analysis. the results show that: (1) spatially, the average annual precipitation increased and the temperature decreased from west (grassland) to east (forest). Compared with the grassland area, the runoff and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in the forest area showed larger, and indicated slower warming and larger precipitation declining. (2) temporally, the average annual precipitation and the runoff slightly decreased with a trend of 10 mm/ 10 a and 19.3 mm/ 10 a, respectively; the average annual temperature and NDVI in the growing season increased significantly with a trend of 0.65 ℃ / 10 a and 0.003—0.006/ 10 a, respectively. the results suggested that warming and drying inhibited the runoff and increased the vegetation growth, even in the context of precipitation increased and smooth increasing trend of temperature after 1998, showing the accumulative effect of w

Metal-halide hybrid perovskite materials are excellent candidates for solar cells and photoelectric *** recent years,machine learning(ML)techniques have developed rapidly in many fields and provided ideas for material discovery and *** can be applied to discover new materials quickly and effectively,with significant savings in resources and time compared with traditional experiments and density functional theory(DFt)*** this review,we present the application of ML in per-ovskites and briefly review the recent works in the field of ML-assisted perovskite ***,the advantages of perovskites in solar cells and the merits of ML applied to perovskites are ***,the workflow of ML in perovskite design and some basic ML algorithms are ***,the applications of ML in predicting various properties of perovskite materials and devices are ***,we propose some prospects for the future development of this *** rapid devel-opment of ML technology will largely promote the process of materials science,and ML will become an increasingly popular method for predicting the target properties of materials and devices.

A novel green long afterglow material CageO_(3):tb^(3+)was synthesized by high temperature solid phase *** to the experimental results,CageO_(3):tb^(3+)is a green long persistent luminescent(LPL)material with excellent ***_(3):tb^(3+)shows LPL emission peak at 442,490.9,548.7,588.5 and 623.8 nm,corresponding to ^(5)D_(3) to^(7)F_(4)and^(5)D_(4)to^(7)F_(j)(j=6,5,4,3)transitions of tb^(3+).Its CIE coordinates are(0.27,0.50),indicating that the afterglow emission is close to the light of green *** addition,after the excitation source is turned off,the afterglow time is longer than 90 *** an interval of 7 h,the photo-stimulation luminescence(PSL)can be observed by using 980 nm laser cyclic *** thermoluminescence(thL)results show that there are three types of traps in the material and their depths are 0.666,0.774 and 0.892 eV respectively,which are caused by the doping of tb^(3+).All the results show that CageO_(3):tb^(3+)is an excellent long afterglow luminescent material.

Moirésuperlattices,arising from the controlled twisting of van der Waals homostructures at specific angles,have emerged as a promising platform for quantum emission ***,the manipulation of strain provides a versatile strategy to finely adjust electronic band structures,enhance exciton luminescence efficiency,and establish a robust foundation for two-dimensional quantum light ***,the intricate interplay between strain and moirépotential remains partially ***,we introduce a meticulously designed fusion of strain engineering and the twisted 2L-WSe_(2)/2L-WSe_(2) homobilayers,resulting in the precise localization of moiré*** low-temperature photoluminescence spectroscopy,we unveil the emergence of highly localized moiré-enhanced emission,characterized by the presence of multiple distinct emission ***,our investigation demonstrates the effective regulation of moirépotential depths through strain engineering,with the potential depths of strained and unstrained regions differing by 91%.By combining both experimental and theoretical approaches,our study elucidates the complex relationship between strain and moirépotential,thereby opening avenues for generating strain-induced moiréexciton single-photon sources.

Developing highly robust and efficient electrode materials is of critical importance to promoting the energy density of current supercapacitors for ***,we report an efficient catalyst with monodispersed Mn single-atoms embedded in carbon nanotubes(Mn-CNts)for enhancing the electrode performance of supercapacitors.A high specific capacitance(1523.6 F·g^(-1) at 1.0 A·g^(-1))can be achieved,which is about twice as high as the specific capacitance of the electrode material without the introduction of Mn ***,the asymmetric electrochemical capacitor created with Mn-CNt and activated carbon exhibits a high energy density of 180.8 Wh·kg^(-1) at a power density of 1.4 kW·kg^(-1),much higher than most reported *** study shows that the integration of Mn atoms into the CNt can enhance the charge transport capacity and the number of polar active sites of Mn-CNt and then facilitate chemical interactions between Mn-CNt and Oh-.this work provides a novel strategy to enable high-energy storage in supercapacitors by introducing single-atoms into carbon nanotubes to improve electrodes’energy density and cycle life.

Objectiveto explore the regulatory effect of Pien tze huang (PZh) on targeting partner of NOB1 (PNO1) and it’s down-stream mediators in colorectal cancer (CRC) *** polymerase chain reaction was performed to determine mRNA levels of PNO1, tP53, and CDKN1A. Western blotting was performed to determine protein levels of PNO1, p53, and p21. hCt-8 cells were transduced with a lentivirus over-expressing PNO1. Colony formation assay was used to detect cell survival in PNO1 overexpression of hCt-8 cells after PZh treatment. Cell-cycle distribution, cell viability and cell apoptosis were performed to identify the effect of PNO1 overexpression on cell proliferation and apoptosis of hCt-8 cells after PZh treatment. Xenograft BALB/c nude mice bearing hCt116 cells transduced with sh-PNO1 or sh-Ctrl lentivirus were evaluated. Western blot assay was performed to detect PNO1, p53, p21 and PCNA expression in tumor sections. terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUtP nick end labling (tUNEL) assay was used to determine the apoptotic cells in *** treatment decreased cell viability, down-regulated PNO1 expression, and up-regulated p53 and p21 expressions in hCt-8 cells (Pttenuated the effects of PZh treatment, including the expression of p53 and p21, cell growth, cell viability, cell cycle arrest and cell apoptosis in vitro (Pted the effects of PZh treatment on tumor growth, inhibiting cell proliferation inhibition and apoptosis induction in vivo (Pttenuated the effects of PZh treatment on the down-regulation of PNO1 and up-regulation of p53 and p21 in vivo (Pthe mechanism by which PZh induces its CRC anti-proliferative effect is at least in part by regulating the expression of PNO1 and its downstream targets p53 and p21.

Superplasticity of fine-grained Mg-10Li alloy prepared by severe plastic deformation and understanding its deformation mechanisms

the superplastic behavior and associated deformation mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of the BCCβphase and a small amount of the hCPαphase,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of this alloy was achieved by employing high-ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was achieved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where tensile elongations of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding stage of the tensile samples prior to tensile loading,a significant increase in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider this effect when analyzing and understanding the superplastic deformation behavior and *** the investigated strain rate range,the superplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,while at high strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was the rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded that solute drag creep is unlikely to *** the late stages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed that grain boundary sliding led to the agglomeration of theαphase,resulting in significant strain *** mechanism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in the form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate,stress,temperature,and grain size,using the constitutive equations for various deformation mechanisms derived based on the data of the current tests.

the human face is a valuable biomarker of aging,but the collection and use of its image raise significant privacy *** we present an approach for facial data masking that preserves age-related features using coordinate-wise monotonic *** first develop a deep learning model that estimates age directly from non-registered face point clouds with high accuracy and *** show that the model learns a highly indistinguishable mapping using faces treated with coordinate-wise monotonic transformations,indicating that the relative positioning of facial information is a low-level biomarker of facial *** visual perception tests and computational3D face verification experiments,we demonstrate that transformed faces are significantly more difficult to perceive for human but not for machines,except when only the face shape information is *** study leads to a facial data protection guideline that has the potential to broaden public access to face datasets with minimized privacy risks.
