A nucleon-pair and boson coexistent description of nuclei

We study a mixture of s-bosons and like-nucleon pairs with the standard pairing interaction outside an inert core. Competition between the nucleon-pairs and s-bosons is investigated in this scenario. The robustness of the BCS-BEC coexistence and crossover phenomena are examined through an analysis of pf-shell nuclei with realistic single-particle energies, in which two configurations with pauli blocking of nucleon-pair orbits due to the formation of the s-bosons is taken into account. When the nucleon-pair orbits are considered to be independent of the s-bosons, the BCS-BEC crossover becomes smooth, with the number of the s-bosons noticeably more than that of the nucleon-pairs near the half-shell point, a feature that is demonstrated in the pf-shell for several values of the standard pairing interaction strength. As a further test of the robustness of the BCS-BEC coexistence and crossover phenomena in nuclei, results are given for B（E2; 01^＋→21^＋） values of even-even ^102-130 Sn with ^100Sn taken as a core and valence neutron pairs confined within the 1d（5/2）, 0g（7/2）, 1d（3/2）, 2s（1/2）, 1h（11/2）orbits in the nucleon-pair orbit and the s-boson independent approximation. The results indicate that the B（E2） values are reproduced well.

The Nilsson mean-field plus the extended pairing model for well-deformed nuclei is applied to some representative rare earth examples. The binding energies, some low-lying pair-excited states and evenodd mass differences of Er, Yb and Hf isotopes are calculated systematically within the proton frozen-pair excitation limit. A comparison with experimental data for these nuclei shows that the results of the extended pairing model are better than those for the standard pairing model with the BCS approximation and the nearest-orbit pairing model.

The O( N) invariant quartic anharmonic oscillator is shown to be exactly solvable if the interaction parameter satisfies special *** problem is directly related to that of a quantum double well anharmonic oscillator in an external field.A finite dimensional matrix equation for the problem is constructed explicitly,along with analytical expressions for some excited states in the *** corresponding Niven equations for determining the polynomial solutions for the problem are given.

The importance of the unique-parity single particle level in the description of nuclear collectivity is stressed in the framework of the nucleon-pair shell model truncated to the SD *** is found that with the shell model Hamiltonian which includes the single particle energy term,the unique-parity single particle level has to be included for describing the low-lying collective states reasonably.

介绍了单j壳的球形平均场加几何四极-四极和标准对力模型的量子相交叉行为。在单j=15/2的壳内,计算了随模型控制参数变化的多个物理量如低激发能级、激发态间重叠积分、低激发态间的B(E2)比值和电四极矩比值。结果显示,在类转动到对激发相的演化中,多个物理量在交叉区存在非常明显的变化,如B(E2;41→21)/B(E2;21→0g),B(E2;42→21)/B(E2;21→0g)等,并且这些变化在核子数达到半满壳时尤为显著。此外,尽管当j较小时,由几何四极-四极相互作用得到的低激发能级不满足转动谱规律,但当j值足够大时,这些低激发能级满足转动谱规律。

利用SD配对壳模型研究了质量数A～130区原子核的低激发态性质。为了减少参数,模型采用了等强度对力,取质子和中子对力强度等同近似,而非同类核子间的四极-四极相互作用强度取为同类核子间四极-四极相互作用强度的两倍。计算结果显示,模型的振动-转动和振动-γ不稳定运动的形状渡越特征与相互作用玻色子模型对应的形状相变特征基本吻合,从而说明SD配对壳模型是壳模型的一种合理近似。
