As the role of missions and experiments carried out in outer space becomes more and more essential in our understanding of many earthly problems,such as resource management,environmental problems,and disaster management,as well as space science questions,thanks to their lower cost and faster development process CubeSats can benefit humanity and therefore,young scientists and engineers have been motivated to research and develop new CubeSat *** very long after their inception,CubeSats have evolved to become accepted platforms for scientific and commercial *** last couple of years showed that they are a feasible tool for conducting scientific experiments,not only in the Earth orbit but also in the interplanetary *** many countries,a CubeSat mission could prompt the community and young teams around the world to build the national capacity to launch and operate national space *** paper presents an overview of the key scientific and engineering gateways opened up to the younger scientific community by the advent and adaptation of new technology into CubeSat *** role of cooperation and the opportunities for capacity-building and education are also ***,the present article also aims to provide useful recommendations to scientists,early-career researchers,engineers,students,and anyone who intends to explore the potential and opportunities offered by CubeSats and CubeSats-based missions.

Formation and Characterization of Ceramic Nanocomposite Crystalline Coatings on Aluminium by Anodization

Ceramic nanocomposite coatings have been synthesized on aluminium by using lithium sulphate electrolyte with zirconium silicate additive by anodization. The effects of current density （CD） on microhardness, structure, composition and surface topography of the oxide layer formed at various CDs （0.1-0.25 A/cm^2） have been studied. Crystalline coatings formed at 0.25 A/cm^2 have been （width 95 nm） observed with a relatively uniform distribution confirmed by scanning electron microscopy. Additionally, the average microhardness value of ceramic nanocomposite coatings fabricated from lithium sulphate-zirconium silicate bath is approximately 8.5 times higher than that of the as-received aluminium. The surface statistics of the coatings is discussed in detail to explain the roughness and related parameters for better understanding. These observations demonstrate the importance of surface statistics in controlling the morphology of the coatings and its properties. From the X-ray diffraction investigations, it can be concluded that the formed nanocomposite coatings are crystalline in nature and that the crystallinity of the coatings decreases with increasing applied current density.

We study the effect of an amplification mechanism in a nonlinear vibration energy harvesting system where a ferromagnetic beam resonator is attached to the vibration source through an additional linear spring with a *** beam moves in the nonlinear double-well potential caused by interaction with two *** piezoelectric patches with electrodes attached to the electrical circuit support mechanical energy transduction into electrical *** results show that the additional spring can improve energy *** changing its stiffness,we observed various *** the point of the optimal stiffness of the additional spring,the power output is amplified a few times depending on the excitation amplitude.

Twofold hidden conformal symmetry of Kerr-Bolt black holes

Previously we have shown that a four-dimensional Kerr-Bolt black hole in non-extremal and also in extremal cases could be described by a holographic two-dimensional （2D） conformal field theory （CFT） [Ghezelbash A m, Kamali v and Setare m R 2010 Phys. Rev. D 82 124051; Setare m R and Kamali v 2010 jHEP 10 074]. motivated by recent work [Chen C m, Huang Y m, Sun j R, Wu m F and Zou S j 2010 Phys. Rev. D 82 066004], we show that there is another holographic description for these black holes. The first description is called the j-picture, whose construction is based on the black hole angular momentum. The new description is called the Q-picture, whose constructions originate from the nut charge of the black hole. Similar to the previous cases [Ghezelbash A m, Kamali v and Setare m R 2010 Phys. Rev. D 82 124051; Setare m R and Kamali v 2010 jHEP 10 0741, we show that this new picture for a low frequency limit of the wave equation of a massless charged scalar field in the background of a Kerr-Bolt black hole can be written as the Casimir of SL（2, R） symmetry. Our result shows that the entropy of the black hole is reproduced by the Cardy formula. In addition, the absorption cross section is consistent with the finite temperature absorption cross section for a two-dimensional CFT.

The coefficient of restitution is widely used to characterize the energy dissipation rate in numerical simulations involving particle collisions. The challenge in measuring the coefficient of restitution is the strong scatter seen in experimental data that results from varying particle properties, i.e. shape and surface roughness, and from imperfections in the experimental technique. To minimize this scattering, a novel experimental setup was developed based on two synchronized high-speed cameras capturing the collision behaviour of a particle in three dimensions. To measure the wet restitution coefficient, which describes particle impact in the presence of a liquid layer in the contact region, additional accuracy can be achieved by measuring the liquid layer thickness by a high-precision optical confocal sensor. The coefficient of restitution was measured for glass particles with two different diameters, at different relative velocities and liquid layer thicknesses, with a focus on small collision velocities and thin liquid layers, using both the improved （three dimensional） and the conventional （two dimensional） approaches to quantify the improvement of the new method＇s accuracy.

A Novel Synthesis of malic Acid Capped Silver Nanoparticles using Solanum lycopersicums Fruit Extract

Integration of green chemistry principles to nanotechnology is one of the key issues in nanoscience research. The development of the concept of green nanoparticle preparation has been growingly needed for environmentally benign metal nanoparticle synthesis protocols to avoid adverse effects in medical applications. Keep this in mind, in the present study, silver nanoparticles were synthesized using Solanum lycopersicums fruit extract. The prepared silver nanoparticles were characterized by Uv-visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy techniques. The surface plasmon resonance peak was found at 445 nm. The synthesized silver nanoparticles were spherical in shape with the average size of 10 nm. The citric acid present in S. lycopersicums fruit extract acted as reducing agent and malic acid was responsible for capping of the bioreduced silver nanoparticles.

With the development of science and technology the entire Earth,together with all of its phenomena,is gradually becoming an object of computer *** several years,this process has also affected water components,which are essential for the development of humans and economies on ***,monitoring of its resources and movement across the Earth’s surface is the main object of investigation of several research *** recent years,hydraulic modelling has experienced significant development that meets water and computer connection *** study consequently dealt with hydraulic modelling and uncertainties in the data that may affect the resulting flood *** analysed the effect of cross-sections generated and the subsequent inundation areas in Digital Elevation models of different *** basic DEm was constructed from data obtained by the LIDAR *** results were obtained using a one-dimensional(1-D)model,HEC-RAS,and its extension,*** Olsˇe and Stona´vka river junction,located in the northeast region of the Czech Republic,was selected for *** resolutions selected for the study to generate cross-sections and the subsequent inundation areas were 1 m,5 m and 10 *** resulting cross-sections were confronted with the actual surveyed cross-sections.
