We report the synthesis of Co^(2+)substituted mg–Cu–Zn ferrite via citrate gel combustion process and thereby its structural,transport,and magnetic properties for the use in electromagnetic energy absorption *** polycrystalline ferrite system is investigated by interplay of stoichiometric composition with mg_(0.25–x)Co_x Cu_(0.25)Zn_(0.5)Fe_2O_4(0≤x≤0.25).structural investigations using X-ray diffraction(XrD)and selected area electron diffraction(sAED)reveal the formation of spinel structure with linear growth of lattice constant due to Co^(2+)*** microstructural analysis(TEm and sEm)depicts the dense microstructure with the average grain size of 0.42–1.25μ*** elemental analysis(EDs)confirms the elemental composition of the as-prepared ferrite with respect to the initial concentrations of the synthetic composition *** observed variations in initial permeability(μ_i)and magnetic moment(_Bn)are explained based on deviation in saturation magnetization(m_s),anisotropy constant(_1K),density values,and exchange *** temperature dependence of DC resistivity confirms the semiconducting behavior of the as-prepared ferrite material,with an increase in the DC resistivity by an incorporation of ***,the effects of adding Co^(2+)on the Curie temperature,frequency dependent dielectric properties of the ferrite material are also discussed.

In this study, the analytical solutions of the radial schr6dinger equation for the central Woods-saxon potential together with spin-orbit interaction and centrifugal terms have been derived by using Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions of nucleons have been obtained for various values of n, l, and j quantum numbers. The obtained results using this method are in satisfactory agreement with available data in the specim case.

Let r be a commutative ring and A（r） be the set of ideals with non-zero annihilators. The annihilating-ideal graph of r is defined as the graph AG（r） with the vertex set A（r）＊ = A（r）／{（0）} and two distinct vertices I and j are adjacent if and only if Ij = （0）. Here, we present some results on the clique number and the chromatic number of the annihilating-ideal graph of a commutative ring. It is shown that if r is an Artinian ring and w（AG（r）） = 2, then r is Gorenstein. Also, we investigate commutative rings whose annihilating-ideal graphs are complete or bipartite.

Application of high concentrations of post-emergent broad spectrum systemic herbicide,glyphosate is prevalently used to control rice weeds in Asian countries including sri *** target movements of glyphosate adversely affect growth of the rice plant reducing the *** herbicide resistance(Hr)in cultivated rice is a novel approach to enhance selectivity and crop *** on induced Hr in sri Lankan rice varieties are limited and studies are required to include Hr rice in a cropping *** methyl sulfonate(Ems),a chemical mutagen is used for functional *** present study is an attempt of raising Hr rice lines through conventional breeding methods.A suitable glyphosate concentration was determined by a preliminary study using five rice varieties(Bg300,Bg352,At362,Bg379-2 and H4)and varying glyphosate concentrations(0.25 g/l,0.5 g/l,1 g/l,2 g/l and 3 g/l).resistance percentage50%was arbitrary considered as resistant *** randomized Design with three replicates was used in the *** characters were recorded for the survived *** varieties(Bg359,At362,Bw364,Ld365,Bg366,Bg369,Bg379-2,Bg403,Bg454“Pachcha perumal”,“Kalu heenati”and“Kurulu thuda”)showed natural resistance to glyphosate and fourteen varieties have increased resistance after mutagenesis by Ems(s0-First generation).Hr resistance percentage of s1(second generation)plants was similar to s0 plants indicating Hr was transferred to new *** statistics was supplemented with self-Organizing maps(sOm)to visualize variation of agro-morphological characters under *** result proved that Ems application is an effective method in breeding new rice germplasm with Hr and sOm is an important tool for visualizing the multi-dimensional dataset in lower dimensions.

An AlCoCuCrFeNiTi high-entropy alloy(HEA) was prepared by mechanical alloying and sintering to study the effect of Ti addition to the widely studied AlCoCuCrFeNi system. The structural and microstructural characteristics were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XrD), scanning electron microscopy(sEm), and transmission electron microscopy(TEm). The formation of four micrometric phases was detected: a Cu-rich phase with a face-centered cubic(fcc) structure, a body-centered cubic(bcc) solid solution with Cu-rich plate-like precipitates(fcc), an ordered bcc phase, and a tetragonal structure. The XrD patterns corroborate the presence of a mixture of bcc-, fcc-, and tetragonal-structured phases. The Vickers hardness of the alloy under study was more than twice that of the AlCoCuCrFeNi alloy. Nanoindentation tests were performed to evaluate the mechanical response of the individual phases to elucidate the relationship between chemical composition, crystal structure, and mechanical performance of the multiphase microstructure of the AlCoCuCrFeNiTi HEA.

Background:In seasonal,pasture-based,dairy production systems,cows must recover from calving and become pregnant within two to 3 *** achieve this,the uterus must involute and ovulation must occur and continue at regular *** these processes are affected by the cows’nutritional or metabolic status post-calving,the objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of cow feeding strategies on uterine health,the length of postpartum anestrous interval,and reproductive *** treatments consisted of two feeding strategies during late-lactation and early dry period(far-off period;starting 4-month pre-calving)and three close-up dry period feeding regimes(1-month pre-calving)in a 2×3 factorial *** randomly assigned 150 cows to one of two far-off *** late lactation,the herds(n=75 cows per herd)were either control-fed(Controlfed)or over-fed(Overfed)to achieve a low or high body condition score(4-month pre-calving;BCs;~4.25 and^4.75;10-point scale)at cessation of *** each of these treatments,three feeding levels were applied during the close-up period(1-month pre-calving):~65%(Feed65),~90%(Feed90),or^120%(Feed120)of metabolizable energy(mE)intakes relative to pre-calving ***:Uterine health improved(***(PmN)cells declined)with increased feeding during the close-up period for cows in the Overfed *** reverse was evident for the Controlfed group with the greatest PmN at the highest intakes during the close-up *** postpartum anoestrous interval(PPAI)was shorter in cows from the Overfed group when moderately fed(Feed90)during the close-up period;in comparison,the PPAI was shorter in the Controlfed group,when those cows were overfed in the close-up period(Feed120).The cows in the Overfed treatment had greater conception and pregnancy rates if cows had moderate dry matter intakes(Feed90)during the close-up period;these reproductive variables were less under excessive feed inta

This paper reports an investigation on the giant magnetoresistance and microstructure evolution in melt-spun Cu_(70)Co_(30) *** results show that the phase separation is inevitable in the course of quenching,leading to the formation of two types of fcc magnetic Co-rich particles but these do not appear to contribute to the magnetoresistance(mr).On annealing,a very fine distribution of Co-rich precipitates forms at temperatures above 573 K which are responsible for the high mr developed in this material.
