Nonradical reaction driven by peroxymonosulfate(PMS)based advanced oxidation pro-cesses has drawn widespread attention in water treatment due to their inherent advantages,but the degradation behavior and mechanism of organic pollutants are still *** this study,the performance,intermediates,mechanism and toxicity of tetracycline(Tc)degra-dation were thoroughly examined in the constructed magnetic nitrogen-doped porous car-bon/peroxymonosulfate(co-N/c-PMS)*** results showed that 85.4%of Tc could be removed within 15 min when co-N/c and PMS was simultaneously added and the degra-dation rate was enhanced by 3.4 and 14.7 folds compared with co-N/c or PMS alone,***,the performance of co-N/c was superior to that of most previously reported *** lines of evidence indicated that co-N/c-PMS system was a singlet oxygen-dominated nonradical reaction,which was less interfered by pH and water compo-nents,and displayed high adaptability to actual water ***,the degrada-tion process was elaborated on the basis of three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix spectra and liquid chromatography-mass *** last,the toxicity of treated Tc was greatly reduced by using microalgae coelastrella *** ecological *** study provides a promising approach based on singlet oxygen-dominated nonradical reaction for eliminating Tc in water treatment.

Background: Postpartum inflammation is a natural and necessary response;however, a dysfunctional inflammatory response can be detrimental to animal productivity. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(meloxicam) on ewe postpartum inflammatory response, ewe plasma polyunsaturated fatty acid and oxylipid concentrations, and lamb ***: After lambing, 36 Hampshire and Hampshire × Suffolk ewes were sequentially assigned within type of birth to control(n = 17) or meloxicam orally administered on d 1 and 4 of lactation(MEL;90 mg, n = 19). Milk and blood samples were collected on d 1(prior to treatment) and d 4. Milk glucose-6-phosphate was not affected by MEL. Plasma haptoglobin(Hp) concentrations were less for MEL ewes;control ewes with greater d 1 Hp concentrations had elevated Hp on d 4, but this was not the case for MEL-treated ewes. Treatment with MEL increased plasma arachidonic acid concentration by more than 4-fold in ewes rearing singles but decreased concentrations of 9,10-dihydroxyoctadecenoic acid, prostaglandin F2α, 8-iso-prostaglandin E2, and 8,9-dihydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid. Nine oxylipids in plasma had interactions of treatment with d 1 Hp concentration,all of which revealed positive associations between d 1 Hp and d 4 oxylipid concentrations for cON, but neutral or negative relationships for MEL. MEL decreased 13-hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid:13-oxooctadecadienoic acid ratio and tended to increase 9-hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid:9-oxooctadecadienoic acid ratio(both dependent on d 1 values), indicating progressive metabolism of linoleic acid-derived oxylipids occurred by enzymatic oxidation after MEL treatment. Tectonic reconstructions of Proterozoic Australia commonly place the Peake and Denison Domain of the northeastern Gawler craton at the interface between the North and South Australian cratons prior to the reconfiguration of Australia’s main tectonic components in the ***,this reconstruction is largely based on palaeomagnetic data as the geological correlations between these regions are currently limited,particularly during the *** early Mesoproterozoic period is significant as it corresponds to major IOcG mineralization in the eastern Gawler craton between 1600 Ma and 1575 Ma,and IOcG mineralization in the Mount Isa Province largely between 1550 Ma and 1490 ***,determining the relationship of the Peake and Denison Domain to the Gawler craton and Mount Isa Province during this period is essential to evaluating mineral prospectivity in the northeastern Gawler *** U–Pb LA-IcP-MS geochronology on zircon and titanite improves our understanding of the tectonothermal and hydrothermal history the Peake and Denison Domain during the latePalaeoproterozoic,early-Mesoproterozoic and the cambrian–Ordovician *** formed within largely calc-silicate alteration assemblages indicates the Peake and Denison Domain has a protracted history of hydrothermal activity,recording events at c.1565 Ma,1530–1515 Ma,c.1500 Ma,c.1465 Ma and c.490 *** highly calcic nature of the c.1565–1500 Ma alteration in the Peake and Denison Domain shares strong similarities in age and character to the regional calcic-sodic alteration recorded in the Mount Isa *** suggest the two regions were influenced by similar hydrothermal systems during the early Mesoproterozoic,supporting reconstruction models that place the Peake and Denison Domain near the Mount Isa Province during the *** highlights the prospectivity of the Peake and Denison Domain for Isan-style IOcG mineralization,but requires consideration of the post-

N-formyl peptide receptors(FPRs)were first identified upon phagocytic leukocytes,but more than four decades of research has unearthed a plethora of non-myeloid roles for this receptor *** are expressed within neuronal tissues and markedly in the central nervous system,where FPR interactions with endogenous ligands have been implicated in the pathophysiology of several neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease,as well as neurological cancers such as *** the homeostatic function of FPRs in the nervous system is currently undefined,a variety of novel physiological roles for this receptor family in the neuronal context have been posited in both human and animal *** developments in recent years have implicated FPRs in the process of neurogenesis and neuronal differentiation which,upon greater characterisation,could represent a novel pharmacological target for neuronal regeneration therapies that may be used in the treatment of brain/spinal cord injury,stroke and *** review aims to summarize the recent progress made to determine the physiological role of FPRs in a neuronal setting,and to put forward a case for FPRs as a novel pharmacological target for conditions of the nervous system,and for their potential to open the door to novel neuronal regeneration therapies.
