1. Introduction and Phenomenology In theories of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking, the electroweak interactions are broken to electromagnetism by the vacuum expectation value of a composite operator, typically a fermion bilinear. In these theories, the longitudinal compo- nents of the massive weak bosons are identified with composite Nambu-Goldstone bosons arising from dynamical symmetry breaking in a strongly-coupled extension of the standard model. Viable theories of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking must also explain （or at least accommodate） the presence of an additional composite scalar state to be identified with the H^0 scalar boson [1,2] - a state unlike any other observed to date.

In this paper,the path integral solutions for a general n-dimensional stochastic differential equa-tions(SDEs)withα-stable Lévy noise are derived and ***,the governing equations for the solutions of n-dimensional SDEs under the excitation ofα-stable Lévy noise are obtained through the characteristic function of stochastic ***,the short-time transition probability density func-tion of the path integral solution is derived based on the chapman-Kolmogorov-Smoluchowski(cKS)equation and the characteristic function,and its correctness is demonstrated by proving that it satis-fies the governing equation of the solution of the SDE,which is also called the Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov ***,illustrative examples are numerically considered for highlighting the feasibility of the proposed path integral method,and the pertinent Monte carlo solution is also calculated to show its correctness and effectiveness.

Temporal variability in soil cO2 emission from an orchard was measured using a dynamic open-chamber system for measuring soil cO2 efflux in Heshan Guangdong Province, in the lower subtropical area of china. Intensive measurements were conducted for a period of 12 months. Soil cO2 emissions were also modeled by multiple regression analysis from daily air temperature, dry-bulb saturated vapor pressure, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, soil moisture, and soil temperature. Data was analyzed based on soil moisture levels and air temperature with annual data being grouped into either hot-humid season or relatively cool season based on the precipitation patterns. This was essential in order to acquire simplified exponential models for parameter estimation. Minimum and maximum daily mean soil cO2 efflux rates were observed in November and j.ly, with respective rates of 1.98 ± 0.66 and 11.04 ± 0.96 μmol m-2 s-1 being recorded. Annual average soil cO2 emission (FcO2) was 5.92 μmol m-2 s-1. Including all the weather variables into the model helped to explain 73.9% of temporal variability in soil cO2 emission during the measurement period. Soil cO2 efflux increased with increasing soil temperature and soil moisture. Preliminary results showed that Q10, which is defined as the difference in respiration rates over a 10 -c interval, was partly explained by fine root biomass. Soil temperature and soil moisture were the dominant factors controlling soil cO2 efflux and were regarded as the driving variables for cO2 production in the soil. Including these two variables in regression models could provide a useful tool for predicting the variation of cO2 emission in the commercial forest soils of South china .

Many physical processes considered in the Review of Particle Properties （RPP） involve hadrons. The properties of hadrons--which are composed of quarks and gluons--are governed primarily by Quantum chromodynamics （QcD）（with small corrections from Quantum Electrodynamics [QED]）. Theoretical calculations of these properties require non-perturbative methods, and Lattice Quantum chromodynamics （LQcD） is a tool to carry out such calculations. It has been successfully applied to many properties of hadrons. Most important for the RPP are the calculation of electroweak form factors, which are needed to extract cabbibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa （cKM） matrix elements when combined with the corresponding experimental measurements. LQcD has also been used to determine other fundamental parameters of the standard model, in particular the strong coupling constant and quark masses. This review describes the theoretical foundations of LQcD and sketches the methods used to calculate the quantities relevant for the RPP. It also describes the various sources of error that must be controlled in a LQcD calculation. Results for hadronic quantities are given in the corresponding dedicated reviews.

Spindle cell carcinoma of head and neck, a subtype of squamous cell carcinoma is a unique and rare neoplasm. It has a more aggressive behavior as compared to classical squomous cell carcinoma warranting surgical interventions with wider surgical margins. Immunohistochemistry along with routine histopathology is essential in establishing the diagnosis of spindle cell carcinoma. We at Dr. B. Borooah cancer Institute, Guwahati, a regional institute for treatment and research, hereby report 40 cases of such lesion with clinicopathological and immunohistochemical study. Out of total 40 cases included in the study group most of the cases were in the age group of 40 to 60 years. commonest site of presentation was nasopharynx and buccal mucosa. 14 cases of the oral cavity (buccal mucosa, alveolus, oral tongue and hard palate) were treated with surgery. All the cases with disease of the larynx and hypopharynx were treated with radiotherapy and cases involving the nasopharynx received radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In the surgery group recurrence rate was found to be 71.4% and metastasis rate was 21.4%. Biopsy specimens were subj.cted to histopathological examination followed by immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemical analysis show concurrent presence of malignant epithelial and sarcomatoid spindle cell components by co-expression of cytokeratin (cK) and vimentin to various degrees.

Global climate change has evolved from a scientific problem into an economic and political problem oI worlOwloe rater- est. National perspectives play a crucial role in addressing climate change. Mutual understanding of perspectives is nec- essary to result in rational policies and a consensus among stakeholders with divergent interests. conceptual frameworks for understanding the problem of climate change in china, the largest developing country and the largest greenhouse gas emitter, are of great significance to national and international efforts to address the problems of climate change. chinese perceptions of climate change as a sustainable development problem have recently been in tension with an emerging Western perspective that frames climate change as a security issue. This paper explores chinese perceptions of climate change as expressed in recent governmental policy statements, public opinion surveys, and academic scholarship with a focus on publications in chinese-language j.urnals, often unfamiliar in the West. It looks at the relationship between chinese research and policy and finds that the chinese policy frame of climate change as a sustainable development problem draws from the body of domestic research and is reflective of the perspectives and multidisciplinary approach of chinese researchers in areas of climate change.
