This.work explored pos.ibilities.of biodegradable magnes.um alloy mg-3Y preparation by two modern powder metallurgy techniques.s.ark plas.a s.ntering(s.s.and s.lective las.r melting(s.m).The powder material was.cons.lidated by both methods.utilis.ng optimis.d parameters.which led to very low poros.ty(∼0.3%)in the s.m material and unmeas.rably low poros.ty in the s.s.*** main aim of the s.udy was.the thorough micros.ructure characteris.tion and interrelation between the micros.ructure and the functional properties.s.ch as.mechanical s.rength,deformability,and corros.on *** materials.s.owed comparable s.rength of∼110 mPa in tens.on and compres.ion and relatively good deformability of∼9%and∼21%for the s.m and s.s.materials.*** corros.on res.s.ance of the s.s.material in 0.1 m NaCl s.lution was.s.perior to the s.m one and comparable to the conventional extruded *** digital image correlation during loading and the cros.-s.ction analys.s.of the corros.on layers.revealed that the res.dual poros.ty and large s.rained grains.have the dominant negative effect on the functional properties.of the s.m *** the other hand,one of the primary outcomes.of this.s.udy is.that the s.s.cons.lidation method is.very effective in the preparation of the W3 biodegradable alloy,res.lting in material with convenient mechanical and degradation properties.that might find practical applications.

Dialys.s.plays.a crucial role in the purification of nanomaterials.but its.impact on the s.ructural properties.of carbon nanomaterials.was.never ***,a carbon-bas.d nanomaterial generated electrochemically in potas.ium phos.hate buffer,was.characterized before and after dialys.s.agains. pure *** is.s.own that dialys.s.affects.the s.ze of the carbon domains.s.ructural organization,s.rface functionalization,oxidation degree of carbon,and grade of ***,dialys.s.drives.the nanomaterial organization from dis.rete roundis. carbon domains.with s.zes.ranging from 70 to 160 nm,towards.linear s.acking s.ructures.of s.all nanoparticles.（m）.In parallel,alcohol and ether （epoxide） s.rface groups.evolve into more oxidized carbon groups.（e.g.,ketone and es.er groups..Inves.igation of the as.prepared nanomaterial by electron paramagnetic res.nance （EPR） revealed a res.nance s.gnal cons.s.ent with carbon-oxygen centred ***,this.s.udy brings.to light the s.lective affinity of the carbon nanomaterial under s.udy to capture Na+ions.a property greatly enhanced by the dialys.s.proces.,and its.high ability to trap oxygen,particularly before *** findings.open new pers.ectives.for the application of carbon-bas.d nanomaterials.and rais. awarenes. of the importance of s.ructural changes.that can occur during the purification of carbon-bas.d nanomaterials.

Ferroelectric HfO_(2)has.attracted much attention owing to its.s.perior ferroelectricity at an ultra-thin thicknes. and good compatibility with s.-bas.d complementary metal-oxide-s.miconductor(CmOs.***,the crys.allization of polar orthorhombic phas.(o-phas.)HfO_(2)is.les. competitive,which greatly limits.the ferroelectricity of the as.obtained ferroelectric HfO_(2)thin ***,the crys.allization of o-phas. HfO_(2)can be thermodynamically modulated via interfacial s.res. *** this.paper,the growth of improved ferroelectric Al doped HfO_(2)(HfO_(2):Al)thin films.on(111)-oriented s. s.bs.rate has.been *** analys.s.has.s.gges.ed that nonpolar monoclinic HfO_(2):Al grown on(111)-oriented s. s.bs.rate s.ffered from a s.0} compres.ive s.rain,which promoted the crys.allization of(111)-oriented o-phas. HfO_(2)in the as.grown HfO_(2):Al thin *** addition,the in-plane lattice of(111)-oriented s. s.bs.rate matches.well with that of(111)-oriented o-phas. HfO_(2),which further thermally s.abilizes.the o-phas. HfO_(2).Accordingly,an improved ferroelectricity with a remnant polarization(2P_(r))of 26.7C/cm^(2) has.been *** res.lts.s.own in this.work provide a s.mple way toward the preparation of improved ferroelectric HfO_(2)thin films.

Home Energy management s.s.ems.HEms.are increas.ngly relevant for demand-s.de management at the res.dential level by collecting data(energy,weather,electricity prices.and controlling home appliances.or s.orage *** control can be performed with clas.ical models.that find optimal s.lutions.with high real-time computational cos.,or data-driven approaches.like Reinforcement Learning,that find good and flexible s.lutions.but depend on the availability of load and generation data and demand high computational res.urces.for *** this.work,a novel HEms.is.propos.d for the optimization of an electric battery operation in a real,online and data-driven environment that integrates.s.ate-of-the-art load forecas.ing combining CNN and Ls.m neural networks.to increas. the robus.nes. of *** Reinforcement Learning agents.are trained with different algorithms.Double DQN,Dueling DQN,Rainbow and Proximal Policy Optimization)in order to minimize the cos. of electricity purchas. and to maximize photovoltaic s.lf-cons.mption for a PV-Battery res.dential *** s.ow that the bes. Reinforcement Learning agent achieves.a 35%reduction in total cos. when compared with an optimization-bas.d agent.
