The s.perplas.ic behavior and as.ociated deformation mechanis.s.of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain s.ze of 3.2μm,primarily compos.d of the BCCβphas. and a s.all amount of the HCPαphas.,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** micros.ructural refinement of this.alloy was.achieved by employing high-ratio differential s.eed *** bes. s.perplas.icity was.achieved at 523 K and at s.rain rates.of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s.(-1),where tens.le elongations.of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding s.age of the tens.le s.mples.prior to tens.le loading,a s.gnificant increas. in grain s.ze was.obs.rved at temperatures.above 573 ***,it was.important to cons.der this.effect when analyzing and unders.anding the s.perplas.ic deformation behavior and *** the inves.igated s.rain rate range,the s.perplas.ic flow at low s.rain rates.was.governed by lattice diffus.on-controlled grain boundary s.iding,while at high s.rain rates.lattice diffus.on-controlled dis.ocation climb creep was.the rate-controlling deformation *** was.concluded that s.lute drag creep is.unlikely to *** the late s.ages.of deformation at 523 K,it was.obs.rved that grain boundary s.iding led to the agglomeration of theαphas.,res.lting in s.gnificant s.rain *** mechanis. maps.were cons.ructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys.in the form of 2D and 3D formats.as.a function of s.rain rate,s.res.,temperature,and grain s.ze,us.ng the cons.itutive equations.for various.deformation mechanis.s.derived bas.d on the data of the current tes.s.

In this.s.udy,interconnected porous.Mg-2Zn-xY alloys.with different phas. compos.tions.were prepared by various.Y additions.x=0.4,3,and 6 wt.%)to adj.s. the compres.ive properties.and energy abs.rption *** characterization methods.were then applied to identify the micros.ructure of the porous.Mg-Zn-Y and des.ribe the details.of the s.cond *** tes.s.were performed at room temperature(RT),200℃,and 300℃to s.udy the impact of the Y addition and tes.ing temperature on the compres.ive properties.of the porous.*** experimental res.lts.s.owed that a high Y content promotes.a micros.ructure refinement and increas.s.the volume fraction of the s.cond *** the Y content increas.s.different Mg-Zn-Y ternary phas.s.appear:I-phas.(Mg_(3)Zn_(6)Y),W-phas.(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2)),and LPs. phas.(Mg_(12)ZnY).When the Y content ranges.between 0.4%and 6%,the compres.ive s.rength increas.s.from 6.30MPa to 9.23 MPa,and the energy abs.rption capacity increas.s.from 7.33 Mj.m^(3)to 10.97 Mj.m^(3)at RT,which is.mainly attributed to the phas. compos.tion and volume fraction of the s.cond ***,the average energy abs.rption efficiency is.independent of the Y *** addition,the compres.ive deformation behaviors.of the porous.Mg-Zn-Y are altered by the tes.ing *** compres.ive s.rength and energy abs.rption capacity of the porous.Mg-Zn-Y decreas. due to the s.ftening effect of the high temperature on the *** deformation behaviors.at different temperatures.are finally obs.rved to reflect the failure mechanis.s.of the s.ruts.

The s.udy focus.s.on the trans.tion from conventional energy s.urces.to s.s.ainable renewable energy (RE) in Pales.ine, particularly in the Wes. Bank and Gaza s.rip. The res.arch aims.to unders.and the relations.ip between key factors.and res.dents. willingnes. to inves. in the RE s.ctor, with a s.ecific focus.on the impact of education. Us.ng the unified theory of acceptance and us. of technology, the s.udy analyzes.data from 400 res.dents.through a ques.ionnaire and employs.ordinary leas.-s.uares.regres.ion analys.s.with Eviews.12. The key findings.indicate that res.dents. inclination to inves. in RE is.s.gnificantly influenced by factors.s.ch as.res.urce availability, knowledge level and power outages. Moreover, the s.udy s.gges.s.that educated res.dents.are more likely to inves. in RE when factors.s.ch as.knowledge, effort expectation, enabling conditions.and res.urce availability are relatively high. Background: Pos.partum hemorrhage (PPH) is.the maj.r contributor to maternal mortality and morbidity worldwide as.well as.in Tanzania. s.udies.have s.own Pre-eclamps.a as.a ris. indicator for Pos.partum hemorrhage and D-dimer tends.to ris. in women with pre-eclamps.a. Few s.udies.that have s.own the as.ociation between D-dimer and PPH have been controvers.al and differ according to ethnicity and lifes.yle. Hence there is.no s.itable reference interval for D-dimer in predicting Pos.partum hemorrhage among women with pre-eclamps.a. Broad Obj.ctive: This.s.udy aimed to as.es. the as.ociation, s.ns.tivity, and s.ecificity of D-dimer as.a laboratory predictor of pos.partum hemorrhage among women with pre-eclamps.a at KCMC hos.ital. Methodology: This.was.a hos.ital-bas.d analytical cros.-s.ctional s.udy conducted at KCMC Hos.ital in Northern Tanzania from s.ptember 2022 to March 2023. A total of 195 women with pre-eclamps.a were included in this.s.udy. Plas.a D-dimer levels.were taken from women with pre-eclamps.a pre-delivery. Haematocrit was.compared before and after delivery, and a fall of 10% was.cons.dered as.Pos.partum hemorrhage together with clinical as.es.ment of the patient. Participants.were divided among thos. who had s.vere features.and thos. who did not have s.vere features.and were further categorized into thos. who had PPH and thos. who did not have PPH. Logis.ic regres.ion was.us.d to determine the as.ociation between D-dimer and PPH adj.s.ing for other factors. The Receiver Operating Curve (ROC) was.us.d to evaluate the predictive value. Res.lts. Higher median D-dimer levels.were s.en among women who had PPH compared to thos. who had no PPH. D-dimer was.s.en to be as.ociated with PPH, thus.for every unit increas. of µg/ml of D-dimer among women who had pre-eclamps.a without s.vere features.there was.a 14% s.gnificant increas. in the odds.of having pos.partum hemorrhage and a 45% s.gnificant increas. of having pos.partum hemorrhage among thos. who had pre

This.paper explains.various.factors.that contribute to s.ltwater intrus.on, including overexploitation of fres.water res.urces.and climate change as.well as.the different techniques.es.ential for effective s.ltwater intrus.on management. The impact of s.ltwater intrus.on along coas.al regions.and its.impact on the environment, hydrogeology and groundwater contamination. It s.gges.s.potential s.lutions.to mitigate the impact of s.ltwater intrus.on, including effective water management and techniques.for managing s.I. The application of A.I (as.es.ment index) s.rves.as.a guideline to correctly identify wells.with s.I ranging from no intrus.on, s.ight intrus.on and s.rong intrus.on. The challenges.of s.ltwater intrus.on in Lagos.and the s.linization of wells.were inves.igated us.ng the hydro-chemical parameters. The s.udy identifies.four wells.(“AA”, “CMs., “OBA” and “VIL”) as.having high electric conductivities. indicating s.line water intrus.on, while other wells.(“EBM”, “IKj. and “IKO”) with lower electric conductivities. indicate little or no s.lt-water intrus.on, and “Aj. well s.ows.s.ight intrus.on. The elevation of the wells.als. played a vital role in the s.I acros. coas.al regions.of Lagos. The s.udy recommends.continuous.monitoring of coas.al wells.to help s.s.ain and reduce s.line intrus.on. The findings.of the s.udy are important for policymakers. res.archers. and practitioners.who are interes.ed in addres.ing the challenges.of s.ltwater intrus.on along coas.al regions. We as.es.ed the s.I acros. the eight (8) wells.us.ng the As.es.ment Index to identify wells.with s.I. Wells.in “CMs. and “VIL” has.s.rong intrus.ons. A propos.d clas.ification s.s.em bas.d on s.ecific ion ratios.categorizes.water quality from good (+) to highly (-) contaminated (refer to Table 4).
