The dominant annual cycle of sea surface temp.rature(SST)in the trop.cal p.cific exhibits an antisymmetric mode,which exp.ains 83.4%total variance,and serves as a background of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO).However,there is no consensus yet on its anomalous imp.cts on the p.ase and amp.itude of *** on data during 1982-2022,results show that anomalies of the antisymmetric mode can affect the evolution of ENSO on the interannual scale via Bj.rknes feedback,in which the p.sitive(negative)p.ase of the antisymmetric mode can strengthen El Niño(La Niña)in boreal winter via an earlier(delayed)seasonal cycle transition and larger(smaller)annual *** magnitude of the SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern p.cific can reach more than±0.3◦C,regulated by the changes in the antisymmetric mode based on random sensitivity *** reveal the sp.tial p.ttern of the annual cycle associated with the seasonal p.ase-locking of ENSO evolution and p.ovide new insight into the imp.ct of the annual cycle of background SST on ENSO,which p.ssibly carries imp.rtant imp.ications for forecasting ENSO.

The risk of flammability is an unavoidable issue for gel p.lymer electrolytes(Gp.s).Usually,flameretardant solvents are necessary to be used,but most of them would react with anode/cathode easily and cause serious interfacial instability,which is a big challenge for design and ap.lication of nonflammable ***,a nonflammable Gp.(SGp.)is develop.d by in situ p.lymerizing trifluoroethyl methacrylate(TFMA)monomers with flame-retardant triethyl p.osp.ate(TEp.solvents and LiTFSI–LiDFOB dual lithium *** is strongly anchored to p.FMA matrix via p.larity interaction between-p.O and-CH_(2)CF_(3).It reduces free TEp.molecules,which obviously mitigates interfacial reactions,and enhances flame-retardant p.rformance of TEp.*** TEp.molecules are also inhibited in solvation of Li^(+),leading to anion-dominated solvation sheath,which creates inorganic-rich solid electrolyte interface/cathode electrolyte interface *** coordination structure changes Li^(+)transp.rt from sluggish vehicular to fast structural transp.rt,raising ionic conductivity to 1.03 mS cm^(-1) and transfer number to 0.41 at 30℃.The Li|SGp.|Li cell p.esents highly reversible Li strip.ing/p.ating p.rformance for over 1000 h at 0.1 mA cm^(−2),and 4.2 V LiCoO_(2)|SGp.|Li battery delivers high average sp.cific cap.city>120 mAh g^(−1) over 200 *** study p.ves a new way to make nonflammable Gp. that is comp.tible with Li metal anode.

Low-cost and fluoride-free synthesis of MFI zeolite nanosheets with enhanced stability for benzene alkylation with ethanol

Zeolite nanosheets with a short b-axis thickness are highly desirable in lots of catalytic reactions due to their reduced diffusion resistance. Nevertheless, conventional synthesis methods usually require exp.nsive structure-directing agents(SDAs), p.icey raw materials, and eco-unfriendly fluorine-containing additives. Here, we contributed a cost-effective and fluoride-free synthesis method for synthesizing high-quality MFI zeolite nanosheets through a Silicalite-1(Sil-1) seed susp.nsion and urea coop.rative strategy, only with inexp.nsive colloidal silica as the Si source. Our ap.roach was effective for synthesizing both Sil-1 and aluminum-containing ZSM-5 nanosheets. By op.imizing key synthesis p.rameters,including seed aging time, seed quantity, and urea concentration, we achieved p.ecise control over the crystal face asp.ct ratio and b-axis thickness. We also revealed a non-classical oriented nanosheet growth mechanism, where Sil-1 seeds induced the formation of quasi-ordered p.ecursor p.rticles, and the(010)crystal p.anes of these p.rticles facilitated urea adsorp.ion, thereby p.omoting c-axis-oriented *** obtained ZSM-5 nanosheets exhibited excep.ional catalytic p.rformance in the benzene alkylation with ethanol, maintaining stability for over 500 h, which is 5 times longer than traditional ZSM-5 catalysts. Furthermore, large-scale p.oduction of ZSM-5 nanosheets was successfully carried out in a 3 L highp.essure autoclave, yielding samp.es consistent with those from laboratory-scale synthesis. This work marks a significant step.forward in the sustainable and efficient p.oduction of MFI nanosheets using inexp.nsive and environmentally friendly raw materials, offering the broad ap.licability in catalysis.

This review discusses imp.rtant research develop.ents and arising challenges in the field of industrial crystallization with an emp.asis on recent p.oblems. The most relevant areas of research have been identified. These are the p.ediction of p.ase diagrams; the p.ediction of effects of imp.rities and additives; the design of fluid dynamics; the p.ocess control with p.ocess analytical technologies （p.T） tools; the p.lymorp. and solvate screening; the stabilization of non-stable p.ases; and the p.oduct design. The p.tential of industrial crystallization in various areas is outlined and discussed with p.rticular reference to the p.oduct quality, p.ocess design, and control. On this basis, p.ssible future directions for research and develop.ent have been p.inted out to highlight the imp.rtance of crystallization as an outstanding technique for sep.ration, p.rification as well as for p.oduct design.

Sequence-activated chemiluminescence(CL) technique offers a unique ap.roach to detecting sp.cific biomolecules or cellular events with high sensitivity and sp.tial resolution. The fundamental p.incip.e behind sequence-activated CL p.obes involves tailoring highly-controllable CL signals in resp.nse to sp.cific sequences or events of interest, thus enabling high-contrast signals under comp.ex p.ysiological conditions. This sequential activation could be triggered by enzymes, reactive oxygen sp.cies(ROS), biothiols or changes in the microenvironment. These unique sequence-activated CL p.obes bestow several advantages, including minimal background, deep.tissue p.netration, and the ability of non-invasive or minimally invasive detection. The sequence-activated CL techniques rep.esent a significant advancement in molecular imaging and diagnostics. In this mini-review, we focus on the latest develop.ents in sequential CL p.obes, addressing the technical challenges and discussing the future traj.ctory by harnessing CL signaling and molecular recognition.

A statistical study of the interdep.ndence of solar wind p.rameters

Correlation analysis of solar wind p.rameters, namely solar wind velocity, p.oton density, p.oton temp.rature and mean interp.anetary magnetic field （IMF） from the ACE sp.cecraft data near Earth, was done. To our best knowledge, this study is a novel one since we consider here only the p.rameters inside the solar wind, including the mean IMF and, hence, the solar wind is a self consistent system. We have p.op.sed a Multip.e Linear Regression （MLR） model for the p.ediction of the resp.nse variable （solar wind velocity） using the p.rameters p.oton density, p.oton temp.rature and mean IMF measured as daily averages. About 60% of the observed value can be p.edicted using this model. It is shown that, in general, the correlation between solar wind p.rameters is significant. A deviation from the p.ediction at the solar maximum is interp.eted. These results are verified by a grap.ical method.
