Uganda has been implementing the Global Health Security Agenda(GHSA)since 2015 to build its capacity according to World Health Organization(WHO)Benchmarks on International Health Regulations *** country remains prone to outbreaks,with more than 20 disease outbreaks reported in the past five years,including Ebola virus disease,Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever,Marburg haemorrhagic fever,measles,yellow fever,coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),and *** resistance(AMR)is an ongoing *** scored capacity level 3 on infection prevention and control(IPC)and antimicrobial stewardship(AMS)in the 2017 j.int External Evaluation(j.E)*** gaps were being addressed after a self-assessment in *** paper describes the technical assistance approaches provided to Uganda by the Medicines,Technologies,and Pharmaceutical Services Program,funded by the United States(U.S.)Agency for International Development,and implemented by Management Sciences for *** program,through a One Health approach,supported systematic capacity strengthening based on the j.E's capacity advancement framework for global health security,specifically relating to *** program's interventions impacted 32 WHO benchmark actions(7 for AMR multisectoral coordination,16 for IPC,and 9 for AMS),contributing to Uganda's strengthened GHSA *** success built on the AMR platform,the program trained 745 health workers in IPC for the Ebola virus and provided support for simulation exercises by eight district IPC *** program also worked with the Ministry of Health to coordinate IPC for the COVID-19 response in five health regions,covering 45 districts and reaching 5,452 health workers at 858 health facilities.

We report the high speed scanning submicronic microscopy （SSM） using a low cost polymer microlens integrated at the extremity of an optical fiber. These microlenses are fabricated by a free-radical photopolymerization method. Using a polymer microlens with a radius of curvature of 250 nm, a sub-micrometric gold pattern is imaged experimentally by SSM. Different distances between the tip and the sample are used with a high scanning speed of 200 cm/s. In particular, metallic absorption contrasts are described with an optical spatial resolution of 250 nm at the wavelength of 532 nm. Moreover, finite-difference time-domain （FDTD） simulations concerning the focal lengths of microlenses with different geometries and heights support the experimental data.

Dibenzo-7-phosphanorbornadiene P-sulfide anions APS-（A=C14H10，蒽）是一种非常重要有机磷分子前驱体．该类化台物通过释放有机成分蒽，进而得到纯净的各种无机磷小分子．本文通过电喷雾离子技术将其从溶液相转移到气相中，然后通过磁瓶式光电子飞行时间能谱和速度成像光电子能谱，并结合计算对其几何和电子结构进行研究．通过不同波长的光谱对比以及Franck-Condon模拟，得到其电子亲和势（2．62±0．05eV）和自旋轨道劈裂（43±7meV）．实验光谱不仅给出丰富的电子结构信息，而且呈现一个非常独特的现象：不同波长（440、450、460nm）的速度成像光电子能谱在同一位置均出现一个尖锐的峰．理论计算显示APS有足够大偶极矩（3．31D），能够产生自旋偶极电子．进一步的计算将具有相同动能（17．9meV）的强峰归属来自振动-电子态耦台引起的电子自动脱附的态-态跃迁过程．通过对其几何结构和电子结构的研究，有助于理解磷转移反应中化学键的断裂和形成．

As a part of the National Water Development Authority (NWDA) proposal, the linking between Pennar and Cauvery is put forth with a single purpose of conserving water to the maximum extent possible. The present study covers with land use/land cover (LU/LC) along the alignment study area 17215.68 sq·km. All the details of these features have been studied using IRS-P6, LISSIII data to analyze the effect of land use and land cover. The land use and land cover data are classified into 9 categories such as crop land, current fallow, forest, plantations, built-up land, water bodies, scrub land, sandy area and others. The total area going to be capsized is 17215.68 sq·km out of which 10105.96 sq·km is proposed command area. The 244 villages have to be rehabilitated due to this canal whereas about 4597 villages will enj.y the fruits of this canal in the form of drinking water, ground water recharge and as an additional source of irrigation as well. The study indicated current fallow land of 5340.14 km2 and 6307.98 km2 of cropland can be brought under cultivation which is more than what NWDA estimated land that can be benefitted.

基因连锁研究在理论和应用上都报重要。交换值表明基因位点间的距离,能给育种者提供设计选育试验方案的准则,以便在分离世代中为分离出理想的重组体去种植适宜的群体。若找到控制不良性状(如感病性等)的基因和那些控制主要经济性状的基因之间的紧密连锁,便可借助突变育种将它们打破。经淘汰不良性状和聚集优异基因可以提高产量。遗传操作是实现此目的的方法之一,但只有彻底了解植物的遗传结构方有可能。

BACKGROUND Management of single small hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is straightforward with curative outcomes achieved by locoregional therapy or *** transplantation is often considered for multiple small or single large *** of two small HCC whether presenting synchronously or sequentially is less *** To define the outcomes of patients presenting with two small *** Retrospective review of HCC databases from multiple institutions of patients with either two synchronous or sequential HCC≤3 cm between j.nuary 2000 and March *** outcomes were overall survival(OS)and transplant-free survival(TFS).RESULTS 104 patients were identified(male n=89).Median age was 63 years(interquartile range 58-67.75)and the most common aetiology of liver disease was hepatitis C(40.4%).59(56.7%)had synchronous HCC and 45(43.3%)had sequential.36 patients died(34.6%)and 25 were transplanted(24.0%).1,3 and 5-year OS was 93.0%,66.1% and 62.3% and 5-year post-transplant survival was 95.8%.1,3 and 5-year TFS was 82.1%,45.85% and 37.8%.When synchronous and sequential groups were compared,OS(1,3 and 5 year synchronous 91.3%,63.8%,61.1%,sequential 95.3%,69.5%,64.6%,P=0.41)was similar but TFS was higher in the sequential group(1,3 and 5 year synchronous 68.5%,37.3% and 29.7%,sequential 93.2%,56.6%,48.5%,P=0.02)though this difference did not remain during multivariate *** TFS in patients presenting with two HCC≤3 cm is poor regardless of the timing of the second *** patients presenting with two small HCC should be considered for transplantation.
