i. i. well renowned that trees have capaci.y to reduce the ai. polluti.n. i. i. mandatory to expand tree plantati.n i. i.dustri.l area to mi.i.i.e the threat of pollutants. For green belt development, i. i. necessary to use plants that are tolerant to ai. polluti.n. The present study i.cludes Ai. polluti.n tolerance i.dex (APTi. of selected plant speci.s wi.h the help of bi.chemi.al analysi.. On the basi. of APTi.and some other soci.economi. and bi.logi.al parameters of plants, Anti.i.ated Performance i.dex (APi. was calculated. Out of twelve speci.s, Fi.us benghalensi. showed to be the most effi.i.nt among others. As per classi.i.ati.n of APi. Fi.us reli.i.sa tree speci.s i. classi.i.d i.to the moderate category. Based on the APTi.and APi. appropri.te plant speci.s for green belt development i. i.dustri.l area were i.enti.i.d and recommended for mi.i.ati.g the polluti.n.

The Li.ter nutri.nt concentrati.ns of N, P, Ca, Mg, K and Na i. mature leaves, twi.s and reproducti.e parts and thei. relati.nshi. between senescent and young leaves were i.vesti.ated i. fi.e forest speci.s： Acaci. ni.oti.a, Acaci. leucophloea. Tectona grandi., Mi.i.sa tomentosa and Butea monosperma i. i.di.n tropi.al dry deci.uous forest i. Western i.di... Total dry matter of plant speci.s was recorded and analyzed for N, P, Ca, Mg, K and Na. A. ni.oti.a had the hi.hest concentrati.ns of N i. leaf, whi.e ,4. leucophloea had the hi.hest concentrati.ns of Ca and Mg i. leaf. The hi.hest concentrati.ns of P i. leaf were found i. A. ni.oti.a, A. leucophloea and B. monosperma where as lowest i. T. grandi. and M. tomentosa. No si.ni.i.ant di.ferences i. K and Na were regi.tered among the speci.s. A marked seasonal vari.bi.i.y was ob- served i. the concentrati.ns of N, P and K, except for Ca and Mg. Potas- si.m i. the si.gle element that undergoes leachi.g and mobi.i.ati.n i. all speci.s. Resorped N and P can be used for the producti.n of fresh leaf i. the followi.g annual cycle. Nutri.nt resorpti.n and retranslocati.n from senescent leaves and li.ter supports the producti.n of new foli.ge and i.crease the ferti.i.y of soi..

The problem of unsteady osci.latory flow and heat transfer of porous medi. sandwi.hed between vi.cous flui.s has been consi.ered through a hori.ontal channel wi.h i.othermal wall temperatures. The flow i. the porous medi.m i. modeled usi.g the Bri.kman equati.n. The governi.g parti.l di.ferenti.l equati.ns are transformed to ordi.ary di.ferenti.l equati.ns by collecti.g the non-peri.di. and peri.di. terms. Closed-form soluti.ns for each regi.n are found after applyi.g the boundary and i.terface condi.i.ns. The i.fluence of physi.al parameters, such as the porous parameter, the frequency parameter, the peri.di. frequency parameter, the vi.cosi.y rati.s, the conducti.i.y rati.s, and the Prandtl number, on the veloci.y and temperature fi.lds i. computed numeri.ally and presented graphi.ally. i. addi.i.n, the numeri.al values of the Nusselt number at the top and bottom walls are deri.ed and tabulated.

Molecular spectroscopy i. a branch of physi.s whi.h deals wi.h the i.teracti.n of electromagneti. radi.ti.n wi.h *** the new theoreti.al approach,i.e.,Li. algebrai. approach,we calculate the i.frared spectra of phosphi.e i. the range from 3000 cm^(-1) to 9500 cm^(-1) and ni.rogen tri.luori.e i. the range from 900 cm^(-1) to 4500 cm^(-1).The model Hami.toni.n constructed seems to descri.e the P–H and N–F stretchi.g modes accurately wi.h only four numbers of *** present calculati.n not only predi.ts the hi.her overtones but also shows good agreement wi.h the few observed data.

The study was carri.d out to i.vesti.ate the effect of tree age on postharvest attri.utes and mi.eral content of Amrapali.mango frui.s. Effect of 3 di.ferent tree ages(6, 18 and 30 years) on functi.nal components, i.cludi.g the anti.xi.ant acti.i.y(AOX), total phenols, total carotenoi.s,ascorbi. aci. and mi.erals li.e Ca, K, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn and B along wi.h total sugars, total soluble soli.s(TSS) and ti.ratable aci.i.y(TA),respi.ati.n rate, polygalacturonase(PG) and pecti. methylesterase(PME) acti.i.i.s i. Amrapali.culti.ar were studi.d. Wi.h tree agei.g total phenols, ascorbi. aci. and anti.xi.ant acti.i.y decreased whereas total carotenoi.s i.creased. Ca di.i.i.hed and K elevated wi.h the tree age progressi.n whi.e, B, Fe, Cu, Zn, and Mn showed an i.defi.i.e pattern. Total soluble soli.s and total sugars were recorded hi.her i. 18 year old tree frui.s. Frui. respi.ati.n rate, polygalacturonase and pecti. methylesterase acti.i.i.s showed an upward trend wi.h tree agei.g. The study i.di.ates that frui. produced from mi.dle age group mango orchard(18 year old) sui.s to the requi.ement of consumers as well as i.dustry.
