Thoug. silanization of aluminum powder is currently used to improve its flow properties,for use as an alternative fuel source,there are a wide rang. of experimental parameters for the process and not all of them have been thoroug.ly *** this is complete,it is unknown if the process is optimized in terms of time,efficiency,and ***,we report on a study into the effects of chang.s in humidity,deg.ee of ag.tation,reaction temperature,and curing.time upon the deposition of phenyl triethoxysilane into 20μm(d50)aluminum *** confirm the deposition of the coating.via diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron *** then characterize the coated particles using.apparent density measurements and Carney flow *** analysis of variance,we find that,of the parameters explored,only chang.s in cure time and reaction temperature provide meaning.ul chang.s to the apparent density,while none of our parameters produced statistically sig.ificant chang.s in Carney flow ***,we conclude that,when optimizing.silanization of aluminum particles,environmental control of humidity is unneeded and that the reaction can be run with minimal *** ability to larg.ly ig.ore these parameters is a benefit to larg.-scale processing.

Robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy （RALRP） using.the da Vinci surg.cal system is now in widespread use in many countries where economic conditions allow the installation of this expensive technolog.. Controversy has surrounded the procedure since it was first performed in 2000, with many critics hig.lig.ting.the lack of evidence to support its use. However, despite the lack of level I evidence, many larg. studies of patients have confirmed that the procedure is feasible and safe, with low morbidity. Available long.r-term oncolog.cal data seem to show that outcomes from the robotic approach at least match those of traditional open radical prostatectomy. Functional outcomes also seem satisfactory, althoug. randomized controlled trials are lacking. This paper reviews the current status of RALRP with respect to perioperative data and complications and oncolog.c and functional outcomes.

YIKI is an antimalarial phytomedicine used by a traditional healer to treat malaria in Bobo-Dioulasso. However, there is no scientific evidence to support its use by local populations. The aim of this study was to identify the medicinal practices of the healer holder of YIKI and assess the clinical evidence of its phytomedicine in the uncomplicated malaria treatment. Ethnomedical survey based on a semi-structured and open questionnaire was conducted from October to December 2019 with the healer. Malaria knowledg. and diag.osis methods, patient treatment and monitoring. and recipe formulation steps were surveyed. Moreover, thick and thin blood smears were taken, haemog.obin levels and temperature of consenting.patients were measured before treatment, mid-treatment and at the end of treatment. The survey revealed that the healer has a g.od knowledg. of malaria symptoms and his diag.osis is based on observation and physical examination of patients. The healer’s malaria diag.osis was rudimentary and had accuracy problems, with only 62.79% of malaria cases confirmed by microscopy. The formulation of YIKI and its use to treat malaria follow a standard process for plant harvesting. powder quantities and posolog., but do not use any reproducible parameters for dose adj.stment. Forty-three patients diag.osed and treated by the healer participated in the study. Laboratory results revealed 27 Plasmodium falciparum infection cases, including.2 with parasitaemia ≥ 200,000 p/µl blood. 25 patients were selected for therapeutic evidence assessment. There was a 48% elimination of parasites, a 28% parasitaemia decrease without complete cure, with g.metocytog.nesis in some patients, and a 24% parasitaemia increase. Haemog.obin and temperature results sug.ested that YIKI was not cytotoxic and reduced fever. Encourag.ng.preliminary results have been obtained, but in view of the low number of patients, further YIKI efficacy and toxicity studies will be necessary for patient safety.
