Objective and Impact ***-time monitoring of the temperatures of regional tissue microenvironments can serve as the diagnostic basis for treating various health conditions and *** thermal sensors allow measurements at surfaces or at near-surface regions of the skin or of certain body *** at depth require implanted devices connected to external readout electronics via physical interfaces that lead to risks for infection and movement constraints for the ***,surgical extraction procedures after a period of need can introduce additional risks and ***,we report a wireless,bioresorbable class of temperature sensor that exploits multilayer photonic cavities,for continuous optical measurements of regional,deep-tissue microenvironments over a timeframe of interest followed by complete clearance via natural body *** designs decouple the influence of detection angle from temperature on the reflection spectra,to enable high accuracy in sensing,as supported by in vitro experiments and optical *** with devices implanted into subcutaneous tissues of both awake,freely moving and asleep animal models illustrate the applicability of this technology for in vivo *** results demonstrate the use of bioresorbable materials in advanced photonic structures with unique capabilities in tracking of thermal signatures of tissue microenvironments,with potential relevance to human healthcare.

Neocosmopolitan distributions of invertebrate aquatic invasive species due to euryhaline geographic history and human-mediated dispersal:Ponto-Caspian versus other geographic origins

Background:Aquatic invertebrate species that have broad salinity tolerances may be pre-adapted for invasion success and biogeographic distributional range expansions,facilitated by human-mediated dispersal(HMD),leading to a trend to become neocosmopolitan across many regions of the *** pattern appears to characterize many Ponto-Caspian(P-C)aquatic invertebrates,which have a>100-year history as aquatic invasive species(AIS),spreading throughout much of Eurasia and for some,in North America and *** study compiles comparative salinity conditions and distributional data for AIS invertebrate species globally versus those originating from the P-C region,to test whether they statistically ***:Our investigation discerns that a total of 1861 invertebrate AIS taxa have been recorded worldwide,with(A)70.5%exclusively living in the saline adaptive zone of brackish(0.5-30 ppt;A1)and/or marine waters(>30 ppt;A2),(B)20%in the freshwater adaptive zone alone(0-0.5 ppt),(C)7.5%being euryhaline(across both A and B),and(D)2%being semi-aquatic in either(D1)freshwater/terrestrial or(D2)saline/terrestrial *** contrast,our results indicate the following proportions for AIS invertebrates of P-C origins:(A)27%exclusively inhabit the saline adaptive zone,(B)25%are entirely freshwater,(C)45%are euryhaline,and(D)3%are semi-aquatic,significantly differing from the global *** AIS native to the P-C region thus markedly outnumber(45%)those originating from other regions(7.5%),likely pre-adapting them for widespread establishment in harbors,estuaries,and coastal ***,most P-C invertebrate AIS(70%)contain freshwater-tolerant populations(B+C),rendering them very successful invaders of inland water *** broad salinity tolerances of P-C AIS underlie their tremendous invasion successes and growing neocosmopolitan distributions with ***:An evolutionary and recent history of broad salinity tolerances of a large proportion of

Atomic Entailment and Atomic Inconsistency and Classical Entailment

In this paper we put forward a new solution of the well-known problem of relevant logics, i.e., we construct an atomic entailment. Hence, we construct a system of predicate calculus based on the atomic entailment. Next, we establish the definition of atomic inconsistency. The atomic inconsistency establishes an infinite class of inconsistent, but non-trivial systems. In this paper we construct the new definition of the classical entailment, into the bargain.

Beneficial impact of lithium bis(oxalato)borate as electrolyte additive for high-voltage nickel-rich lithium-battery cathodes

High-voltage nickel-rich layered cathodes possess the requisite,such as excellent discharge capacity and high energy density,to realize lithium batteries with higher energy ***,such materials suffer from structural and interfacial instability at high voltages(>4.3 V).To reinforce the stability of these cathode materials at elevated voltages,lithium borate salts are investigated as electrolyte additives to generate a superior cathode-electrolyte ***,the use of lithium bis(oxalato)borate(LiBOB)leads to an enhanced cycling stability with a capacity retention of 81.7%.Importantly,almost no voltage hysteresis is detected after 200 cycles at *** outstanding electrochemical performance is attributed to an enhanced structural and interfacial stability,which is attained by suppressing the generation of micro-cracks and the superficial structural degradation upon *** improved stability stems from the formation of a fortified borate-containing interphase which protects the highly reactive cathode from parasitic reactions with the ***,the decomposition process of LiBOB and the possible adsorption routes to the cathode surface are deduced and elucidated.

我们已构建两组质粒,适合于在大肠杆菌内克隆基因和直接大量合成融合蛋白。这些质粒含有***的lac启动基因和部分编码β-半乳糖苷酶的序列,编码的蛋白长度约590或450个氨基酸残基(原基因编码1023个氨基酸残基)。被缩短的β-半乳糖苷酶基因的末端跟随一个多种限制性酶的接头序列;这个序列可被八种限制性酶中的任一种切断,然后插入任何蛋白基因。每组质粒有三种,可以满足所有三种不同的翻译读框。我们克隆了人工合成的人胰岛素原基因到这些质粒上去,在大肠杆菌内可以生产大量β-半乳糖苷酶残基——人胰岛素原融合蛋白。
