考察了Mo基催化剂上空气气相氧化丙烯反应.从无机的和有机金属Mo前驱体出发,采用浸渍法和物理气相沉积法(PVD)制备了不同类型的SiO2负载氧化钼和Mo-Bi复合氧化物催化剂.透射电镜结果证实,所制催化剂上环氧化反应活性与其纳米结构直接有关.催化剂中出现部分或完全结晶的氧化钼相,它们与载体SiO2的相互作用较弱,使得反应生成环氧丙烷的选择性低于10%,而锚合在SiO2上的非结晶的八配位Mo物种上的环氧丙烷选择性达55%以上,此时丙烯转化率约为11%.不同形貌氧化钼的电化学表征结果证实了结构缺陷的重要性.另外,还讨论了Bi对氧化钼催化环氧化活性的直接促进效应.

We generalize Biggs Theorem to the case of directed cycles of multi-digraphs allowing to compute the dimension of the directed cycle space independently of the graph representation with linear runtime complexity. By considering two-dimensional CW complex of elementary cycles and deriving formulas for the Betti numbers of the associated cellular homology groups, we extend the list of representation independent topological inavariants measuring the graph structure. We prove the computation of the 2nd Betti number to be sharp #P hard in general and present specific representation invariant sub-fillings yielding efficiently computable homology groups. Finally, we suggest how to use the provided structural measures to shed new light on graph theoretical problems as graph embeddings, discrete Morse theory and graph clustering.

Chloroplast Proteins without Cleavable Transit Peptides： Rare Exceptions or a Major Constituent of the Chloroplast Proteome？

Most chloroplast proteins （cp proteins） are nucleus-encoded, synthesized on cytosolic ribosomes as precursor proteins containing a presequence （cTP）, and post-translationally imported via the Tic/Toc complex into the organelle, where the cTP is removed. Only a few unambiguous instances of cp proteins that do not require cTPs （non-canonical cp proteins） have been reported so far. However, the survey of data from large-scale proteomic studies presented here suggests that the fraction of such proteins in the total cp proteome might be as large as -30%. To explore this discrepancy, we chose a representative set of 28 putative non-canonical cp proteins, and used in vitro import and Red Fluorescent Protein （RFP）-fusion assays to determine their sub-cellular destinations. Four proteins, including embryo defective 1211, glycolate oxidase 2, protein disulfide isomerase-like protein （PDII）, and a putative glutathione S-transferase, could be unambiguously assigned to the chloroplast. Several others （＇potential cp proteins＇） were found to be imported into chloroplasts in vitro, but failed to localize to the organelle when RFP was fused to their C-terminal ends. Extrapolations suggest that the fraction of cp proteins that enter the inner compartments of the organelle, although they lack a cTP, might be as large as 11.4% of the total cp proteome. Our data also support the idea that cytosolic proteins that associate with the cp outer membrane might account for false positive cp proteins obtained in earlier studies.

Main aim of this study was focused on characterization of the effect of microwave air plasma treatment on wettability of synthetic polymer surfaces. Wettability of solid polymer surfaces polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene (PE, PP, PS) was followed as a function of plasma treatment time. For evaluation the equilibrium contact angles of wetting as well as dynamic contact angles of wetting were determined by means of sessile drop and Wilhelmy plate methods. Free surface energy (SFE) of studied samples were calculated from the experimentally determined contact angles using Fowkes and van Oss, Chaudhury and Good (vOCG) approaches. It was found that with prolonged treatment time the total surface free energy of PE was two times increased from 23 mJ/m2 to 45 mJ/m2 after 360 s plasma treatment time (calculated for W and EG as wetting liquids). Similar effect was found for all studied polymers. With respect to the dispersive and polar components of the total surface free energy the vigorous effect was found for polar component, for which it was increased from 7 mJ/m2 to 20 mJ/m2.

AIM： To evaluate the outcomes of （6y ranibizumab therapy in neovascular age-related macular degeneration （AMD）.METHODS： HELIX was a retrospective, observational effectiveness study using medical records of patients treated in three clinics in Belgium. Patients had neovascular AMD and were initially treated with intravitreal ranibizumab （0.5 mg） between November 1, 2007 and October 31, 2008, had （6y of data available, and were treated on an ongoing, as-needed basis. Outcomes included best-corrected visual acuity （BCVA） and central retinal thickness （CRT）.RESULTS： The sample consisted of 88 eyes from 69 patients. Mean age was 76.4±6.5y, most patients were female （62.3%）. Most eyes （62.5%） were treatment-naive, 33 previously treated eyes had received predominantly other anti-vascular endothelial growth factor agents and verteporfin. Mean baseline BCVA was 57.4±12.7 ETDRS letters and CRT was 291.5±86.1 （m. On average, patients received 20.6±11.9 ranibizumab injections over the （6y. Intervals between injections were on average 12.7±16.1wk. Mean change in BCVA from baseline to last observation for the sample was less than one letter （-0.9±17.3 letters）, with an average loss of -3.2±15.6 letters in previously treated eyes versus a gain of 0.6±18.4 letters in treatment-na？ve eyes. When considering a loss of 〈15 letters over 6y as stabilization of disease, 75.9% of all eyes showed a positive （improvement or stabilization） outcome. Mean change in CRT from baseline to last observation for the sample was -26.9±148.4 （m with the greatest reduction observed in treatment-naive ***： This retrospective study of 69 neovascular AMD patients treated for （6y with ranibizumab demonstrates long-term visual stabilization. In light of the natural evolution of the disease, these data confirm that ranibizumab is effective long-term under real-world conditions of heterogeneity of patients, clinicians, and centers.

The familiar amyloid polyneuropathy(FAP) is a rare autosomal-dominant systemic amyloidosis. Amyloid deposition occurs more frequently and extensively in the vitq. The increase in intraocular pressure(IOP) is a result of deposition of transthyretin(TTR) in trabecular meshwork. Rarely, the amyloid deposition in anterior segment can be more exuberant than in posterior segment. A 42 years old man, with FAP(Val30Met mutation), liver transplantation in 1997. He was asymptomatic, without any significant ocular abnormality until 2011. In 2011 he had an episode of pain in right eye(RE). Scalloped pupils, pupillary amyloid deposits and subtle vitreous opacities were detected. The IOP was 40 mmHg in RE and 28 mmHg in left eye(LE) with open angle. Optical coherence tomography detected a temporal superior retinal nerve fiber layer defect in LE and perimetry was normal. Topical timolol was initiated, and brimonidine was subsequently added to improve IOP control, which was achieved with topical medication until last evaluation. No progression occurred since 2011. Actually, with longer life expectancies, there is an increased risk of ocular involvement in FAP, even after liver transplantation. Although rare, a more exuberant amyloid deposition in anterior segment vs posterior segment can occur, and supports an important role of amyloid production in ciliary pigment epithelium in these patients. Medical control of IOP and a stable course are unusual in this secondary glaucoma. Ophthalmologists have an important task in the follow-up of patients and early diagnosis of risk factors for secondary glaucoma, such as scalloped pupils with amyloid deposits.

Validating cone-beam computed tomography for peri-implant bone morphometric analysis

Cone-beam computed tomography （CBCT） has been recently used to analyse trabecular bone structure around dental implants. To validate the use of CBCT for three-dimensional （3D） peri-implant trabecular bone morphometry by comparing it to two-dimensional （2D） histology, 36 alveolar bone samples （with implants n=27 vs. without implants n=9） from six mongrel dogs, were scanned ex vivo using a high-resolution （80 ~m） CBCT. After scanning, all samples were decalcified and then sectioned into thin histological sections （-6 jim） to obtain high contrast 2D images. By using CTAn imaging software, bone morphometric parameters including trabecular number （Tb.N）, thickness （***）, separation （***） and bone volume fraction （BV/TV） were examined on both CBCT and corresponding histological images. Higher *** and ***, lower BV/TV and Tb.N were found on CBCT images （P〈0.001）. Both measurements on the peri-implant trabecular bone structure showed moderate to high correlation （r=0.65-0.85）. The Bland-Altman plots showed strongest agreement for *** followed by ***, Tb.N and BV/TV, regardless of the presence of implants. The current findings support the assumption that peri-implant trabecular bone structures based on high-resolution CBCT measurements are representative for the underlying histological bone characteristics, indicating a potential clinical diagnostic use of CBCT-based peri-implant bone morphometric characterisation.

目的:评价计算机辅助设计与制作(computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing,CAD/CAM)一体化玻璃纤维桩核修复漏斗状根管的抗疲劳性能和抗折强度。方法:收集32颗离体上颌中切牙,制作漏斗状根管模型后,利用随机数字表分为4组,每组8颗牙齿,分别用4种桩核修复,第1组:CAD/CAM一体化玻璃纤维桩核;第2组:预成石英纤维桩与树脂核;第3组:铸造金合金桩核;第4组:CAD/CAM一体化氧化锆桩核。使用化学固化的树脂粘接剂Superbond C&B将制作完成的桩核粘入到预备后的根管中,为每个牙齿制作氧化锆全冠并使用Superbond C&B粘接。使用加成型硅橡胶模拟牙周膜后把制作完成的试件固定到专用的咀嚼模拟器上,以1.67 Hz的频率在5℃和50℃每2 min交替一次的水浴中沿牙体长轴45°角,用49 N的力在牙冠舌侧加载1.2×106次,再将试件用力学测试机沿牙体长轴45°角加力将桩核折断,记录抗折强度,观察折断模式。结果:咀嚼模拟结束时,预成石英纤维桩组有4个样本的牙冠脱落,剩余样本中未观察到破坏;在抗力测试中,CAD/CAM一体化玻璃纤维桩核组和铸造金合金桩核组的抗折强度分别为(441.5±103.2)N和(462.9±170.0)N,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),但是都高于CAD/CAM一体化氧化锆桩核组[(284.1±99.0)N]和预成石英纤维桩组[(315.4±112.3)N],其差异有统计学意义(F=4.613,P<0.05)。结论:漏斗状根管使用CAD/CAM一体化玻璃纤维桩核或铸造金合金桩核修复可能能取得更好的临床效果。
