The purpose of the current investigations is to solve the nonlinear dynamics based on the nervous stomach model(nSM)using the supervised neural networks(Snns)along with the novel features of Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation technique(LMBT),i.e.,*** Snns-LMBT is implemented with three different types of sample data,authentication,testing and *** ratios for these statistics to solve three different variants of the nonlinear dynamics of the nSM are designated 75%for training,15%for validation and 10%for testing,*** the numerical measures of the nonlinear dynamics of the nSM,the Runge-Kutta scheme is implemented to form the reference *** attained numerical form of the nonlinear dynamics of the nSM through the Snns-LMBT is implemented in the reduction of the mean square error(MSE).For the exactness,competence,reliability and efficiency of the proposed Snns-LMBT,the numerical actions are capable using the proportional arrangements through the features of the MSE results,error histograms(EHs),regression and correlation.

nonselective beta‐blockers reduce mortality in patients with acute‐on‐chronic liver failure

Aim:nonselective beta‐blockers(nSBBs)can reduce the incidence of complications in patients with cirrhosis and prolong *** safety and efficacy of nSBBs in real‐world settings in patients with acute‐on‐chronic liver failure(ACLF)identified by the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of Liver criteria are *** study aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of nSBBs in patients with Asian Pacific Association for the Study of Liver(APASL)‐defined ACLF Methods:In this retrospective,multicenter study,patients with ACLF with complete 30 days follow‐up from January 2019 to December 2021 were *** primary objective was to compare 30‐day mortality among standard of care(SOC)and nSBB(+SOC)*** secondary objectives were to compare the incidence of infection,variceal bleed,and recompensation among both the ***:A total of 346 patients were *** 26%(n=89)of them received nSBBs,while 74%(n=257)received only *** Kaplan-Meier analysis,the incidence of mortality was 21%(95%confidence interval[CI]:16.20-26.50)in SOC group compared to only 8%(95%CI:3.22-15.53)in nSBB group at Day 30(p=0.005).Similarly,mortality in SOC group was 63%(95%CI:56.81-69.00)compared to 46%(95%CI:35.44-57.00)in nSBB group at 1 year(p=0.001).nSBB therapy could not reduce the incidence of infections or variceal ***‐seven percent of patients in the SOC group and 73%of patients in the nSBB group(pn 77.5%and propranolol in 22.5%of ***:nSBBs reduce mortality without any effect on infection or variceal bleed in patients with ***,only one in four ACLF patients are suitable for nSBB therapy.

Cu,n codoped carbon nanosheets encapsulating ultrasmall Cu nanoparticles for enhancing selective 1,2-propanediol oxidation

In the selective oxidation of biomass-based 1,2-propanediol(PDO)with oxygen as the terminal oxidant,it is challenging to improve the lactic acid(LA)selectivity for nonnoble metal nanoparticles(nPs)due to their limited oxygen reduction rate and easy C-C *** the high economic feasibility of nonnoble metals,i.e.,Cu,in this work,copper and nitrogen codoped porous carbon nanosheets encapsulating ultrafine Cu nanoparticles(Cu@Cu-n-C)were developed to realize highly selective of PDO oxidation to *** carbon-encapsulated ultrasmall Cu^(0)nPs in Cu@Cu-n-C have high PDO dehydrogenation activity while n-coordinated Cu(Cu-n)sites are responsible for the high oxygen reduction ***,the performance of catalytic PDO conversion to LA is optimized by a proposed pathway of PDO→hydroxylacetone→lactaldehyde→***,the enhanced LA selectivity is 88.5%,and the PDO conversion is up to 75.1%in an O_(2)-pressurized reaction system(1.0 MPa O_(2)),superior to other Cu-based catalysts,while in a milder nonpressurized system(O_(2)flow rate of 100 mL min-1),a remarkable LA selectivity(94.2%)is obtained with 39.8%PDO conversion,2.2 times higher than that of supported Au nanoparticles(1%Au/C).Moreover,carbon encapsulation offers Cu@Cu-n-C with strong leaching resistance for better recycling.

The Wireless Sensor network(WSn)is a network that is constructed in regions that are inaccessible to human *** widespread deployment of wireless micro sensors will make it possible to conduct accurate environmental monitoring for a use in both civil and military *** make use of these data to monitor and keep track of the physical data of the surrounding environment in order to ensure the sustainability of the *** data have to be picked up by the sensor,and then sent to the sink node where they may be *** nodes of the WSns are powered by batteries,therefore they eventually run out of *** energy restriction has an effect on the network life span and environmental *** objective of this study is to further improve the Engroove Leach(EL)protocol’s energy efficiency so that the network can operate for a very long time while consuming the least amount of *** lifespan of WSns is being extended often using clustering and routing *** Meta Inspired Hawks Fragment Optimization(MIHFO)system,which is based on passive clustering,is used in this study to do *** cluster head is chosen based on the nodes’residual energy,distance to neighbors,distance to base station,node degree,and node *** on distance,residual energy,and node degree,an algorithm known as Heuristic Wing Antfly Optimization(HWAFO)selects the optimum path between the cluster head and Base Station(BS).They examine the number of nodes that are active,their energy consumption,and the number of data packets that the BS *** overall experimentation is carried out under the MATLAB *** the analysis,it has been discovered that the suggested approach yields noticeably superior outcomes in terms of throughput,packet delivery and drop ratio,and average energy consumption.

Water as dual functional cocatalyst: A theoretical study on the mechanism of direct aldol reaction on water catalyzed by a leucine derivative

The role of water and stereoselectivity in the direct syn-aldol reaction involving 3-pentanone and 4-nitrobenzaldehyde catalyzed by amino acid derivatives on water has been investigated by density functional theory. Calculations indicate that the formation of intermediate enamine is the rate determining step via a three-step process with activation enthalpies of 50 kcal/mol in the gas phase and 21 kcal/mol in the presence of water. The subsequent nucleophilic addition of enamine to aldehyde is relatively easier with activation enthalpies below 10 kcal/mol both in the gas phase and in the presence of water. The diastereoselective formation of syn-and anti-aldol products results from the preferential formation of Z-enamine to E-enamine, kinetically and thermodynamically. The enantioselectivity of both syn-and anti-products is controlled by the steric repulsive interactions between the amino alcohol moiety of catalyst and the phenyl ring of aldehyde. Calculations show that water molecule can act as a proton shuttle in the proton-transport catalytic processes. The water-assisted proton-transfer is very efficient to reduce the activation barriers via protonation and deprotonation in the formation of C?n and C°C bonds, dehydration, and β-elimination processes by inhibiting the generation of zwitterionic transition states. The theoretical discoveries indicate that in the present proton-transport assistance, the amino alcohol moiety of the catalyst plays a critical role as hydrogen bond donor to anchor substrates with carbonyl group close to the amine or enamine moiety so that the water molecule can bridge the nH of amine and the oxygen of carbonyl by hydrogen bonding interaction around the reactive site to activate the reactants and promote the reaction effectively.

Simultaneous optimization of multiple performance characteristics in WEDM for machining ZC63/SiC_p MMC

Abstract The compliance of an integrated approach, principal component analysis （PCA）, coupled with Tagu chi＇s robust theory for simultaneous optimization of cor related multiple responses of wire electrical discharge machining （WEDM） process for machining SiCp rein forced ZC63 metal matrix composites （MMCs） is investi gated in this work. The WEDM is proven better for its efficiency to machine MMCs among others, while the particulate size and volume percentage of SiCp with the composite are the utmost important factors. These improve the mechanical properties enormously, however reduce the machining performance. Hence the WEDM experiments are conducted by varying the particulate size, volume fraction, pulseon time, pulseoff time and wire tension. In the view of quality cut, the most important performance indicators of WEDM as surface roughness （Ra）, metal removal rate （MRR）, wire wear ratio （WWR）, kerf （Kw） and white layer thickness （WLT） are measured as respon ses. PCA is used as multiresponse optimization technique to derive the composite principal component （CPC） which acts as the overall quality index in the process. Consequently, Taguchi＇s S/n ratio analysis is applied to optimize the CPC. The derived optimal process responses are confirmed by the experimental validation tests results. The analysis of vari ance is conducted to find the effects of choosing process variables on the overall quality of the machined *** practical possibility of the derived optimal process conditions is also presented using SEM.

Density functional theory study of 1:1 glycine–water complexes in the gas phase and in solution

We present a systematic study of 1:1 glycine-water complexes involving all possible glycine conformers. The complex geometries are fully optimized for the first time both in the gas phase and in solution using three DFT methods (B3LYP, PBE1PBE, X3LYP) and the MP2 method. We calculate the G3 energies and use them as the reference data to gauge hydrogen bond strength in the gas phase. The solvent effects are treated via the integral equation formalism-polarizable continuum model (IEF-PCM). Altogether, we locate fifty-two unique nonionized (n) structures and six zwitterionic (Z) structures in the gas phase, and fifty-five n structures and thirteen Z structures in solution. Both correlation and solvation are shown to be important in geometry determination. We found that in the gas phase, a water molecule binds more strongly to the carboxylic acid group of glycine than to its amine group, whereas in solution phase the reverse is true. The most stable Z structure is isoenergetic with the most stable n structure.

Using Geochemistry of Rare Earth Elements to Indicate Sediment Provenance of Sand Ridges in Southwestern Yellow Sea

The Jianggang Harbour-centered radial sand ridge(RSR) is the largest sand body in the Yellow Sea. Its formation and evolution are of interest for scientists of various fields; however, the sediment provenance is uncertain. In this study, rare earth element(REE) geochemical compositions of the RSR sediments together with their potential sources are investigated to identify the provenance of the RSR sediments. The typical parameters((La/Yb)_n,(La/Sm)_n and(Gd/Yb)_n) as well as the upper continental crust-normalized patterns of REEs can only be associated with source rocks, and thus can be used as effective tracers for the origin and sources of sediments. However, the REE contents of sediments are affected by many factors, such as particle sorting and chemical weathering. Onshore RSR sediments are different in REE geochemical composition from offshore RSR sediments to some extent, suggesting that not all of the offshore RSR sediments have the same sources as the onshore RSR sediments. Meanwhile, the sediments adjacent to the northeast of Cheju Island and at Lian Island near the Lianyun Harbour were not the source of the RSR sediments due to their distinctive REE patterns, dEu,(La/Yb)_n,(Gd/Yb)_n and(La/Sm)_n. The Korean river sediments could be dispersed to the Jiangsu Coast slightly impacting the fine fractions of the RSR sediments, particularly the offshore RSR sediments. Additionally, geochemical comparisons show that the modern Yellow River was responsible for the onshore RSR sediments, whereas the sediment loads from the Yangtze River could serve as a major contributor to the RSR, particularly the offshore RSR. In addition, the offshore RSR could also be partly fed by an unknown source due to some high values of(La/Yb)_n,(La/Sm)_n and La contents differing from those of the Chinese and Korean river sediments.
