Several bacterial strains of Actinomycetes belonging to Streptomyces and Arthrobacter genera for the first time were used to study the biotechnology of synthesis of gold and silver nanoparticles. The experimental conditions of gold and silver nanoparticles production by the cells of studied strains in aqueous chloroauric acid （HAuCIq） and in silver nitrate （AgNO3） solutions, respectively, were determined. Concentration and time-dependences of nanoparticle formation were investigated. The complex of optical and analytical methods was used for testing the gold and silver nanoparticles in the bacterial biomass. The TEM （Transmission Electron Microscopy） and XRD （X-ray Diffraction） data in all cases demonstrated the presence of crystals with fcc （face centered cubic） structure. The results obtained show that the Actinomycetes are capable of producing gold and silver nanoparticles of spherical shape extracellularly when exposed to suitable compounds. The particle size distribution shows that the sizes of nanoparticles are in the range of 5 nm to 80 nm. The biomass obtained may be used for industrial as well as medical and pharmaceutical purposes.

Molar Binding Energy of Zigzag and Armchair Single-Walled Boron Nitride Nanotubes

Molar binding energy of the boron nitride single-walled zigzag and armchair nanotubes is calculated within the qua-si-classical approach. We find that, in the range of ultra small radii, the binding energy of nanotubes exhibit an oscil-latory dependence on tube radius. Nanotubes (1,1), (3,0), and (4,0) are predicted to be more stable species among sin-gle-walled boron nitride nanotubes. The obtained binding energies of BN single-walled nanotubes corrected with zero-point vibration energies lies within the interval (12.01-29.39) eV. In particular, molar binding energy of the ul-tra-large-radius tube is determined as 22.95 eV. The spread of the molar zero-point vibration energy of BN nanotubes itself is (0.25-0.33) eV and its limit for ultra-large-radius tubes is estimated as 0.31 eV. The binding energy peak lo-cated at 2.691 ? corresponds to the equilibrium structural parameter of all realized stable BN nanotubular structures.

It is widely known that very low frequency/low frequency(VLF/LF)radiation has been recorded prior to large earthquakes in several seismically active countries of the *** networks employed to detect this radiation consist of stationary transmitters and ***,there are reported cases of existing networks being unable to detect any electromagnetic radiation prior to large *** this study,we determined the optimal arrangement of a mobile VLF/LF electromagnetic radiation network to ensure the detection of an upcoming earthquake *** considered the possible arrangements of the VLF/LF mobile network based on certain physical considerations,and developed a relatively simple arrangement that is completely different from the existing stationary *** suggested design will significantly increase the number of detected/predicted earthquakes by using the relevant electromagnetic radiation receivers strategically placed in regions of increased tectonic and seismic activity.

Radical Islamism in Georgia

The paper describes and analyzes the chronology of radical Islamism activities in Georgia, the threats and challenges for Georgian state coming from terrorist organizations, the spread of Ideas of Militant Islamism and Jihadism, the possibilities of using Georgian territories by the foreign and local fighters and steps taken by Georgian State. Also popularization of the idea of creation world Islamic Caliphate in the Middle East and ISIL Caucasus Province, joining the terrorist organizations ISIL and A1-Nusra Front in Iraq and Syria by some of the Georgian Muslims. The author analyzes the factors of the popularization of radical Islamism ideas among the young generation, the problems of Georgian Muslim communities and gives the recommendations for state actors.

Method of Calculation of Stability Constants of Fulvic Complexes on the Example of Copper

On the example of copper fulvate, it is discussed the method of calculation of stability constants of fulvic complexes. At pH = 8, the complex formation of copper（ll） ions with fulvic acids was studied by the solubility method. Fulvic acids were separated from the river Mtkvari by the adsorption-chromotographic method. The charcoal （BAU, Russia） was used as a sorbent. The suspension of copper（If） hydroxide was used as the solid phase, on which was added the increasing quantity of standard solution of fulvic acids. In diluted solutions, at pH = 8 the dominant form of copper（lI） is copper dihydroxo complex Cu（OH）^zO. It was established that in the Cu（OH）2 （solid）-Cu（OH）^20 （solution）-FA^2-H20 system, dominates copper dyhydroxo fulvate complex with the structure 1：1, [Cu（OH）2FA]^2. The average stability constant of copper dyhydroxo fulvate complex was calculated based on experimental data fl [Cu（OH）2FAJ^2 = 4.5× l0^5.

Ancient Glaciation of the Caucasus

The paper deals with important, different views on the old glaciation of the Caucasus based on the literary sources and the latest data obtained through the expeditions. Our researches are mostly of complex character where petrographic, palynological and paleontological methods are widely used. The petrographic method allowed us to connect block debris of the moraine with the main centers and to determine the directions of the glaciers movement and their distribution boundaries. The palynological method was used to determine the genesis of loose sediments considered as moraines and their sedimentation conditions. The palynological spectrum of deposits shows that they are river sediments and their sedimentation took place under humid, moderately warm climate conditions that is not associated with glaciation.

Hydro-Meteorological Monitoring of Tskaltubo (Prometheus) Cave System’s Catchment Basin (Caucasus, Western Georgia)

Based on the present simultaneous hydrometeorological data and the analysis of the actual materials obtained by our studies, we can suppose the fact of the occurrence of powerful underground floodings in the hydrodynamic system of the Tskaltubo Cave. The simultaneous records of the water levels (discharges) of the underground rivers and atmospheric precipitation show that there are importantly clear peaks in the hydrographs, when the diurnal sums of precipitations reach or exceed 50 mm in all observation points (in all surface catchment basins defined by us). Though, a long-term observation revealed that only 50 mm of precipitation diurnal sum is not enough for the formation of strong underground flooding in the cave hydrodynamic system;a rainy period of several days should precede such kind of precipitation so that the soil was well saturated with water. Only under these conditions is expected a powerful flooding. As the analysis of the dangerous flooding formation mechanism showed, what is important is not the abundance of diurnal precipitation and their intensity, but the combination of factors such as: the total amount and duration of precipitation of the predecessor period, precipitation amount during the flooding maximum development days and the coverage rate of the cave system’s surface water catchment area.

The Natural Remarkable Monuments Create by Geodinamical Processes （Basin Rioni, Georgia）

This interest, first of all, was a result of Georgia＇s unique natural conditions with its mountainous sights or the sea, diverse herbs, animals, different traditions from people living in different comers of the country, agriculture and historical-architectural monuments. By the final stage of the Soviet Union Georgia had a well-developed tourist-resort infrastructure; there were tens of particularly important resorts centers and several hundreds of tourist headquarters. Hundreds of thousands of astonished foreigners or soviet tourists used to visit country every year. They had an opportunity to enjoy pleasantness of each natural area from subtropics of the Black Sea to glaciers of the Caucasus, from Kolkheti Valley to Alazani Valley, Darially Valley to Vardzia--all the tourist routes were filled of natural sights or historical monuments. In 2015 the faculty of Natural Sciences of ivane Javakhishvili State University conducted a research--Research and Popularization of Natural Monuments of Endogenous Origin in River Rioni Basin EN/15/2015. During research it was revealed very interesting and unique naturally remarkable places, which have a great potential of consumption allowing regions to develop tourist potential. Within frames of the project it was possible to search unique forms of relief, visit and evaluate on spot; in case of necessity include specialists for conducting further ground researches. Recommendations were made to grant status of natural monument to these forms. Meetings were held with the local population in order to notify them importance of the objects within their region and reveal new and unknown places which can be studied in the future.
