Lignin,lignosulfonate,and synthesized phosphorylated lignosulfonate were introduced as greenﬁllers in citric acid-sucrose adhesives for bonding particleboard fabricated from areca leaf sheath(ALS).The characteristics of particleboards were compared to that of ultralow emitting formaldehyde(ULEF-UF).Theﬁllers derived from Eucalyptus ***-lignin were added forﬂame retardancy enhancement.10%of each lignin and modiﬁed lig-nin was added into the ULEF-UF and citric acid-sucrose bonded *** applied to particle-boards included thermal characteristics,X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),morphological properties,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),as well as physical,mechanical,andﬁre resistance characteristics of the laboratory-fabricated *** and modiﬁed lignin resulted in improved thermal stability of the composites bonded with ULEF-UF while the improvement in the particleboard bonded with citric acid-sucrose was not signiﬁ*** introduction ofﬁller exerted a higher inﬂuence on the UF-bonded particleboards compared to composites fabricated with citric ***,the presence of lignin,lignosulfonate,and phosphorylated lignosulfonate enhanced the mechanical strength of the ULEF-bonded particleboards,although their dimensional stability has ***,the use of lignin and lignosulfonate enhanced theﬁre resis-tance of the particleboards produced with lower observed weight *** laboratory particleboards exhibited satisfactoryﬁre resistance,attaining a V-0 rating in according to the UL-94 standard.

The meaning of complementary, alternative and traditional medicine among the Indonesian psychology community: a pilot study

OBJECTIVE： Complementary, alternative and traditional medicine （CATM） is a new field, as well as a promising area of study and practice in psychology. It is important to research the cultural context and meaning of CATM, including its definitions and examples, among different communities of psychology because CATM＇s use is dependent on how it is understood by the members. The aim of this pilot study is to provide an interpretation of the Indonesian psychology community＇s understanding of CATM through a qualitative approach. METHODS： Online interviews with open-ended questions and purposive sampling were used. Participants were dominantly psychologists or lecturers in clinical psychology area. Ten males and 12 females with an average age of 28.0 ＋ 2.5 years voluntarily participated in this study. Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and reviewed and analysed by the two authors to ensure accuracy of interpretation. RESULTS： It was found that there was no single meaning of CATM among the Indonesian community of psychology. Participants were not familiar enough with the terms and tended to use them with overlap. It can be suggested that ＂complementary medicine＂ and ＂alternative medicine＂ or ＂complementary- alternative medicine＂ combined provides more suitable terminology for use among Indonesian psychology community when communicating with other health care professionals. CONCLUSION： The understanding of the terms and examples of CATM were diverse and were often used interchangeably in the projects/interviews. It was also found that Indonesian psychologists required more education regarding CATM. In addition, future studies with more participants from various aspects of the psychology community should be conducted to capture a more representative sample.

Over the past decades,epidemiological studies have concluded that a diet rich in plant-derived products plays a pivotal role in human ***(3,3’,4’,7-tetrahydroxyflavone)is a hydrophobic polyphenolic compound primarily found in edible plants(***,blueberry,apple,grape,persimmon,kiwi,and cucumber).Various preclinical studies have revealed that fisetin exhibits a wide range of pharmacological effects such as antioxidant,antiinflammatory,anti-carcinogenic,anti-osteoporotic,antimicrobial,and anti-diabetic ***,the pharmacological in vitro and in vivo studies on fisetin are discussed in this ***,this review would be useful for further study regarding the potential of natural products,notably fisetin,and its therapeutic potential for the prevention and treatment of diseases.

A novel lipase gene(lip4346)encoding a primary translation product with 176 amino acids was screened from the genome fine mapping of the macroalgae-associated bacterial strain Microbulbifer *** were collected from the coast of the Halmahera Island of *** lip4346 gene was cloned and heterologously expressed in Escherichia *** purified recombinant Lip4346 protein had a molecular mass of 19 k Da,a single band on sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE),and a maximum enzyme activity of 31.2 U m *** optimal temperature and pH for the lipase activity of Lip4346 were 70℃and 10.0,***4346 was tolerant with a number of organic solvents and detergents,and was active toward triacylglycerols and p-nitrophenyl esters with short-and medium-chain *** unique characteristics of Lip4346 indicate that it is a promising nonaqueous biocatalyst for industrial applications.

Effect of La^(3+)substitution on structural,microstructure,magnetic properties,and microwave absorbing ability of yttrium iron garnet

Synthesis and characterization of lanthanum-doped yttrium iro n garnet(YIG)in the compositional se ries of Y_(3-x)La_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)(x=0.0,0.1,0.3,and 0.5)were carried *** compositions were made by using solid state reaction method with ball-milling *** phase formation,surface morphology,magnetic properties,and microwave absorbing ability of all compositions were characterized by using an X-ray diffractometer,a scanning electron microscope,a vibrating sample magnetometer,and a Vector network *** results reveal that all compositions are crystallized into Y_(3)Fe_(5)O_(12)phase(space group la-3d(230).It was observed that the lattice constant is increased from 1.2373 to 1.2421 nm with the increase of lanthanum substitution level from x=*** crystallite size of Y_(3-x)La_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)series calculated by Scherrer method is found to decrease from 78 nm in x=0.0-63 nm in x=*** particle size distribution from the surface morphology image analysis is shifted to lower-range number with the increase of lanthanum substitution level from x=0.0 to *** substitution process also affects the lattice distortion in La-doped samples and changes the bond angles and bond lengths of the YIG *** the results,a linear correlation between the Fe'-O-Fe bond angle with magnetic properties parameters of saturation magnetization(M_(s))and remanence magnetization(M_(r))was *** to the lanthanum substitution process,all La^(3+)-doped samples possess higher M_(s)and M_(r)values compared to the original *** results of Vector network analyzer show that the improvement of the M_(s)and M_(r)plays an important role in enhancing the microwave absorbing ability of the *** minimum RL changes from-8.22 dB(~85.22%microwave absorption)in x=0.0 to-14.21 dB(~96.25%microwave absorption)in x=*** enhancement is mainly ascribed to the natural magnetic resonance loss and dipoIe-polarization loss due to the substitution *** decr

印尼的SARS-CoV-2或2019冠状病毒疾病(Covid-19)大流行正在进行安全化进程,以消除威胁。这一威胁包括在卫生部门,2021年初对Covid-19呈阳性的印尼人人数已超过1亿人,死亡率仍然很高。除此之外,来自Covid-19大流行的另一个威胁导致印尼经济增长乏力和许多其他影响。直到2021年初,印尼政府仍无法控制Covid-19在印尼的传播。安全化是印尼面对Covid-19的解决方案。这项研究解释了在印尼应对Covid-19流感大流行的过程中,几个参与者进行的安全化过程。此外,本研究还解释了行为体在应对印尼Covid-19流感大流行方面所做的安全化努力,以COVID-19问题是否已经消退,或者是否确实造成了安全化努力的其他影响。安全化过程可以通过安全化行为主体、言语行为、存在威胁、难处理对象等多种方法进行分析,特别措施可以解释Covid-19在印尼的安全化过程。本研究采用定性研究方法。

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted global mobility.‘Lockdowns’and travel bans have been used as control measures by international ***,the ways that we use buildings have also been impacted by these ***,this paper explores the roles of heritage sites in a post-COVID-19 pandemic *** research is part of the Urban Heritage and Community Resilience:Conservation,Tourism,and Pandemic project,and it employs methods such as semistructured interviews,participant observations,archival research,and focus group discussions(FGDs).This paper is based on semistructured interviews conducted with one hundred eighteen participants across ten popular heritage sites in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar,*** fndings confrm the debated claim in postdisaster studies asserting that some of these Acehnese heritage sites,especially those imbued with religious values,have become places of ***,during the pandemic,these sites have facilitated community resilience by helping people feel closer to *** practising Acehnese Muslims,prayer at home is culturally acceptable,but praying at the mosque,which is one of the essential heritages of the Acehnese,has contributed to and strengthened the sense of community ***,visitation and participation in heritage sites that include experiencing the sense of place and conducting religious and cultural activities is integral to community resilience.

Liquid phase equilibrium of phenol extraction from bio-oil produced by biomass pyrolysis using thermodynamic models

Utilization of biomass as a new and renewable energy source is being actively conducted by various parties. One of the technologies for utilizing or converting biomass as an energy source is pyrolysis, to convert biomass into a more valuable product which is bio-oil. Bio-oil is a condensed liquid from the vapor phase of biomass pyrolysis such as coconut shells and coffee shells. Biomass composition consisting of hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin will oxidize to phenol which is the main content in bio-oil. The total phenolic compounds contained in bio-oil are 47.03%(coconut shell) and 45%(coffee shell). The content of phenol compounds in corrosive bio-oils still quite high, the use of this bio-oil directly will cause various difficulties in the combustion system due to high viscosity, low calorific value, corrosivity, and instability. Phenol compounds have some benefits as one of the compounds for floor cleaners and disinfectants which are contained in *** correlation between experimental data and calculations shows that the UNIQUAC Functional-group Activity Coefficients(UNIFAC) equilibrium model can be used to predict the liquid–liquid equilibrium in the phenol extraction process of the coconut shell pyrolysis bio-oil. While the Non-Random Two Liquid(NRTL) equilibrium model can be used to predict liquid–liquid equilibrium in the extraction process of phenol from bio-oil pyrolysis of coffee shells.
