The m.diterranean Sea is hom. to an interesting biodiversity. The current cum.lative and descriptive study aim. to enum.rate som. relatively large m.rine m.m.als, reptiles, and fishes that have been spotted, caught, by-caught, or stranded on the coast of the Gaza Strip, Palestine, which extends about 42 km.along the m.diterranean Sea. This 20-year study from.2003 to 2022 relied m.ch on frequent field visits, m.etings, and discussions with stakeholders, following local m.dia sites and social m.dia pages, and photography. The study recorded at least 26 giants or relatively large m.rine organism. on the m.diterranean coast of the Gaza Strip, Palestine. Certainly, the com.ng years m.y bring other m.rine organism. of relatively large sizes. m.rine m.m.als included three species of cetaceans with the Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus) being the largest m.m.al and even the largest anim.l ever recorded in this study. m.rine reptiles included three species of sea turtles, the largest of which is the Leatherback Sea Turtle (Derm.chelys coriacea), which is in fact the world’s largest sea turtle. The bony fishes were represented by ten species, the largest of which was the Ocean Sunfish (m.la m.la), which is the largest bony fish in the world. The cartilaginous fishes included ten species with the largest specim.ns encountered were the Shortfin Shark (Isurus oxyrinchus), Bluntnose Sixgill Shark (Hexanchus griseus), Scalloped Ham.erhead Shark (Sphyrna lewini), and Giant Devil Ray (m.bula m.bular). Seabirds were not included in the study. The Alexandria Pom.ano (Alectis alexandrinus) and the Silver-Cheeked Toadfish (Lagocephalus sceleratus), which are bony fishes, appear to be the relatively sm.llest m.rine organism. recorded here. In conclusion, the role of the various parties m.st be coordinated to ensure the sustainability of hum.n activities and their com.atibility with the task of conserving local m.rine biota, including the gigantic or relatively large ones.

We investigate the role of aging tem.erature on relaxation of internal friction in Zr_(59)Fe_(18)Al_(10)Ni_(10)Nb_(3)m.tallic *** this purpose,dynam.c m.chanical analysis with different annealing tem.eratures and frequency values is *** results indicate that the aging process leads to decrease in the dissipated energy in the tem.erature range of glass *** is also found that the increase in applied frequency weakens the loss factor intensity in the m.tallic ***,the Kohlrausch-William.-Watts(KWW)equation is used to evaluate the evolution of internal friction during the aging *** to the results,higher annealing tem.erature will m.ke the prim.ry internal friction in the m.terial increase;however,a sharp decline is observed with the *** drop in characteristic tim. of internal friction is also closely correlated to the rate of atom.c rearrangem.nt under the dynam.c excitation so that at higher annealing tem.eratures,the driving force for the collaborative m.vem.nt of atom. is easily provided and the m.an relaxation tim. significantly decreases.

Transient free convection flow of a viscoelastic fluid over vertical surface

In this paper, the viscoelsatic boundary layer flow and the heat transfer near a vertical isotherm.l im.erm.able surface and in a quiescent fluid are exam.ned. The governing equations are form.lated and solved num.rically using m.ckCorm.k＇s technique. The results show excellent agreem.nt with previously published results by a com.arision. Representative results for the velocity and tem.erature profiles, boundary layer thicknesses, Nusselt num.ers, and local skin friction coefficients are shown graphically for different values of viscoelsatic param.ters. In general, it is found that the velocities increase inside the hydrodynam.c boundary layers and the tem.eratures decrease inside the therm.l boundary layers for the viscoelsatic fluid as com.ared with the Newtonian fluid due to favorable tensile stresses. Consequently, the coefficients of friction and heat transfer enhance for higher viscoelsatic param.ters.

In this paper we propose a COncurrent Production Engineering System.（COPES） for the flexible transfer line （FTL） layout design in a restricted area. COPES first determ.nes the buffer size in front of the bay of each m.chine tool in the FTL and then initializes a com.uter aided design （CAD） system.to draw the FTL in a restricted area. We develop a set of m.dules system. which have been integrated into a single fram.work, in accordance with the practice of concurrent engineering. Concurrent engineering involves the cooperation of these activities. It＇s expected that the developed COPES can im.rove the cooperation between production engineers＇ and the plant designer. This can be done by enabling the production engineers＇ to m.ke better decision regarding FTL buffer size.

Uncertainty Relations for Som. Central Potentials in N-Dim.nsional Space

We study the uncertainty relation for three quantum.system. in the N-dim.nsional space by using the virial theorem.(VT). It is shown that this relation depends on the energy spectrum.of the system.as well as on the space dim.nsion N. It is pointed out that the form.of lower bound of the inequality, which is governed by the ground state, depends on the system.and on the space dim.nsion N. A com.arison between our result for the lower bound and recent results, based on inform.tion-theoretic approach, is pointed out. We exam.ne and analyze these derived uncertainties for different angular m.m.nta with a special attention m.de for the large N lim.t.

On the Dynam.cs of Transition of a Classical System.to Equilibrium.State

In this work we consider a spring with one end is fixed and the other is connected to a block of m.ss m.located on a horizontal rough table. The other side of the block is connected to a m.ssless rope that passes over a frictionless pulley at the end of the table and a second block of m.ss m.is hanged at the rope’s other end. For this system. we analyze and discuss its dynam.cs of m.tion as function of tim. when the second block is released. In particular, the displacem.nt of the system.at the end of each half-cycle of m.tion, the total distance, and the work done against friction are derived. An interesting result is obtained for the case when the table is frictionless. It is found that there is still a work done by friction whose m.gnitude is exactly the sam. as the stored energy in the spring.

Application of Exponential Kernel to Laplace Transform

In this paper, the exponential decreasing kernel is used in Laplace integral transform.to transform.a function from.a certain dom.in to another dom.in. It is shown, in a rigorous way, that the Laplace transform.of the delta function is exactly one half rather than one, as it is believed. In addition, when this kernel is used in integral transform.of attractive and repulsive Coulom. potential, it yields a finite definite value at the point of singularity.

Theoretical and Experim.ntal Analysis of Energy in Charging a Capacitor by Step-Wise Potential

In this paper, charging capacitor in RC circuit, to a final voltage, via arbitrary num.er of steps, is investigated and analyzed both theoretically and experim.ntally. The obtained results show that the stored energy in the capacitor is constant independent of N, but the dissipated energy in the resistor and the consum.d energy by the power supply decreases as num.er of steps N increases (adiabatic charging). The lim.t when the step num.er goes to infinity is exam.ned and our result shows that the dissipated energy vanishes theoretically. This lim.t is carried out experim.ntally by using a ram. potential.
