Nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide（NrGO）sheets decorated with Co（Oh）;nanoflakes were prepared by a single-step hydrothermal *** morphological and structural characterizations of as synthesized Nr GO@Co（Oh）;nanoflakes were performed by field emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEM）,EDX-mapping and X-ray diffraction（XRD）.Nr GO@Co（Oh）;nanoflakes modified glassy carbon electrode（GCE）was used for electrochemical sensing of dopamine in neutral *** nanocomposite modified electrode showed enhanced electrochemical sensing ability for the detection of dopamine and the limit of detection（Lo D）was found to be 0.201μM with a sensitivity value of 0.0286±0.002 m A m M;.Interference studies revealed that Nr GO@Co（Oh）;─GCE endow excellent selectivity for DA detection even in the presence of higher concentration of common co-existing physiological interfering ***,proposed sensor demonstrated excellent performance in urine samples with promising reproducibility and stability.

Background: Spinal Cord Schistosomiasis (SCS) is the most disabling ectopic form of Schistosomal infection. It may or may not have clinical manifestations. They include low back pain and/or lower limb pain and weakness, and double incontinence. Early diagnosis and treatment provide a good outcome. Aim: To describe the clinical, radiologic, and therapeutic data of 7 patients with Spinal Schistosomiasis. Patients and Methods: In this retrospective clinical case study, the medical records of 7 patients with spinal cord pathologies admitted to Aswan University hospital from May 2014 to May 2017 were reviewed. All were male aged from 17 to 30 years old (mean ± SD, 20 ± 9.5 yr.;median 21 yr.), with neurological deficit in the form of lower limb weakness and sphincter disturbance. All were treated by decompressive laminectomy and debulking of the intramedullary lesion followed by medical treatment. Results: The outcome of our patients was good as 4/7 patients (57%) presented a full recovery, 3/7 patients (43%) presented a partial recovery without functional limitations and none presented a partial recovery with limitations or no response. Conclusion: high index of suspicion should be raised in the differential diagnosis of patients with clinical or radiological evidence of Spinal Cord Schistosomiasis, as early diagnosis can guarantee a better prognosis and avoid the occurrence of serious sequels. The association of corticosteroids and antischistosomal drugs is related to the best outcome. The role of surgery is decompression, particularly in the granulomatous or pseudotumoral form, and to obtain material for definite histopathological diagnosis in doubtful cases.

描述了一种新颖、简便的合成含五齿配位基的大环席夫碱配体的方法,制备和表征了该席夫碱的1∶1包合物。用化学和光谱学方法测定了标题配合物的组成,认为在所有配合物中配位金属原子取八面体结构。数据表明:配体起O2N4六齿结构而每个环绕金属原子在八面体环境中。配合物的红外和1h NMR光谱符合中心金属原子的配位结果。用分光光度法测定了配合物的稳定常数。用共轭余量法(CR method)计算了在热分解的不同阶段配合物活化的动力学和热力学参数。此外,用抑菌圈直径法筛选了配体及其金属配合物抑制细菌和真菌的能力。用回收率试验研究了天然螯合配体在不同天然水体中对Fe(Ⅲ)离子配合作用的影响。

Cytotoxic, genotoxic and apoptotic effects of naringenin-oxime relative to naringenin on normal and cancer cell lines

Objective: To assess and compare the cytotoxic, genotoxic, apoptotic and reactive oxygen species(ROS) generating effects of naringenin(NG) and its new derived compound naringenin-oxime(NG-Ox) on MCF-7, hT-29, PC-12 cancer and L-929 normal cell ***: The cells were incubated with different doses of NG-Ox and NG(50–1 000 mmol/L) for 24 h. The cell viability was assessed based on ATP cell viability *** accumulation of ROS was determined using the fluorescent probes 2070-dichlorodihydrofluorescin diacetate. Genotoxic effects were evaluated by alkaline single cell gel electrophoresis assay(comet assay) and, the apoptotic effect was evaluated by acridine orange staining at below the IC50 ***: Both NG-Ox and NG exhibited cytotoxic, genotoxic and apoptotic effects and resulted in increased ROS values in a dose-dependent manner. The effects were more pronounced on cancer cell lines. The cytotoxic, genotoxic and apoptotic effects of NG-Ox were higher than that of NG in all cell lines. Significant correlations were observed between cell viability, DNA damage, apoptosis and ROS, in all cell lines exposed to either NG-Ox or ***: This study showed that both NG-Ox and NG possess cytotoxic, genotoxic and apoptotic activities through the production of ROS on cells, NG-Ox being the more effective one. Therefore, derived compound of NG might be used as antiproliferative agents for the treatment of cancer.

多金属氧酸盐(polyoxometalates,POMs)的Br(?)nsted酸性和自身的氧化还原性,尤其本身强的多电子转移能力可以应用于光电材料和催化氧化领域中。在POMs催化研究领域POMs易溶于水和有机溶剂,导致催化反应难以回收,并且POMs的比表面积小,极大的限制了其在催化领域的应用。因此,如何提高POMs的循环使用性并制备长效稳定的POMs材料一直是POMs催化领域的研究热点。而开发新的固体POMs合成策略,实现POMs高效、稳定的固载是人们追求的目标。静电纺丝技术是构建一维纳米材料常用的方式,也是将POMs固载化的有效手段。本论文以静电纺丝技术为基础,围绕POMs一维纳米复合材料的合成、表征及催化氧化性能展开研究。具体内容如下:利用静电纺丝技术合成了[AlO/Polymethylmethacrylate]/[hPMo10VO/Polymethylmethacrylate]([AlO/PMMA]/[hPMoV/PMMA])“Janus”双功能纳米纤维催化剂。“Janus”纳米纤维催化剂的形貌通过IR、31P NMR、SEM等手段证明。在氧化淀粉和hMF过程中发现,催化剂的催化效果与hPMoVO固载量有关,当固载量为20%时,得到最佳的催化氧化效果。在氧气氧化淀粉反应中,最佳反应条件为:1.0 g淀粉,5 mg催化剂,70 C,10h,得到的氧化淀粉羧基含量为0.55 mol/100 g。hMF氧气氧化的最佳条件:63 mg hMF,40 mg催化剂,100℃,6 h,得到82.6%hMF的转化率和54.8%DFF的产率。并且催化剂具有良好的稳定性。

Two selective stability-indicating hPLC methods are described for determination of rabeprazole sodium （RZ）-mosapride citrate （MR） and RZ-itopride hydrochloride （IO） mixturcs in the presence of their ICh-stress formed degradation products. Separations were achieved on X-Bridge CI 8 column using two mobile phases： the first for RZ-MR mixture consisted of acetonitrile： 0.（125 M Kh,PO4 solution： TEA （30：69：1 v/v; ph 7.0）; the second for RZ-IO mixture was at ratio of 25：74：1 Iv/v： ph 9.25J. The detection wavelength was 283 nm. The two methods were validated and wdidation acceptance criteria were met in all cases. Peak purity testing using contrast angle theory, relative absorbance and log A versus the wavelengths plots were presented. The % recoveries of the intact drugs were between 99.1% and 102.2% with RSD% values less than 1.6%. Application of the proposed hPLC methods indicated that the methods could be adopted to follow the stability of their formulations.

Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma(KIRC)is a malignant tumor that carries a substantial risk of morbidity and *** MMP family assumes a crucial role in tumor invasion and *** study aimed to uncover the mechanistic relevance of the MMP gene family as a therapeutic target and diagnostic biomarker in Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma(KIRC)through a comprehensive approach encompassing both computational and molecular ***,Cytoscape,UALCAN,GEPIA,OncoDB,hPA,cBioPortal,GSEA,TIMER,ENCORI,DrugBank,targeted bisulfite sequencing(bisulfite-seq),conventional PCR,Sanger sequencing,and RT-qPCR based analyses were used in the present study to analyze MMP gene family members to accurately determine a few hub genes that can be utilized as both therapeutic targets and diagnostic biomarkers for *** performing STRING and Cytohubba analyses of the 24 MMP gene family members,MMP2(matrix metallopeptidase 2),MMP9(matrix metallopeptidase 9),MMP12(matrix metallopeptidase 12),and MMP16(matrix metallopeptidase 16)genes were denoted as hub genes having highest degree *** analyzing MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16 via various TCGA databases and RT-qPCR technique across clinical samples and KIRC cell lines,interestingly,all these hub genes were found significantly overexpressed at mRNA and protein levels in KIRC samples relative to *** notable effect of the up-regulated MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16 was also documented on the overall survival(OS)of the KIRC ***,targeted bisulfite-sequencing(bisulfite-seq)analysis revealed that promoter hypomethylation pattern was associated with up-regulation of hub genes(MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16).In addition to this,hub genes were involved in various diverse oncogenic *** MMP gene family members(MMP2,MMP9,MMP12,and MMP16)may serve as therapeutic targets and prognostic biomarkers in KIRC.

Background Ciliopathies are a group of diseases associated with abnormal structure or function of primary cilia. Ciliopathies include polycystic kidney disease （PKD）, a pathology associated with vascular hypertension. We previously showed that cilia length regulates cilia function, and cilia function is required for nitric oxide （NO） biosynthesis in endothelial cells. Because patients with PKD show abnormal sensory cilia function, the aim of our current study was to search for a targeted therapy focused on primary cilia, which we refer to as ＇cilio- therapy＇. Methods and Results In the present studies, our in vitro analyses refined fenoldopam as an equipotent and more specific dopa- minergic agonist to regulate cilia length and function. Our in vivo studies indicated that fenoldopam increased cilia length and serum NO thereby reducing blood pressure in a PKD mouse model. Our crossover, multicenter, double-blind and placebo-controlled clinical study further indicated that cilia-targeting therapy showed an overall reduction in mean arterial pressure in PKD patients. Conclusions Overall, our studies provide the first evidence of ciliotherapy as an innovative intervention in patients with abnormal primary cilia.

Antimonene-based saturable absorber for a soliton mode-locked and Q-switched fiber laser in the 2 μm wavelength region

We demonstrate antimonene as a saturable absorber(SA) to generate an ultrafast mode-locked and Q-switched laser in the 2 μm wavelength region. The two antimonene-based SAs were prepared and inserted separately in a thulium–holmiumdoped fiber laser to produce the pulsed laser. Antimonene was coated onto a tapered fiber to generate soliton mode-locked pulses and used in thin-film form for the generation of Q-switched pulses. The mode-locking was stable within a pump power of 267 m W–511 m W, and the laser operated at a central wavelength of 1897.4 nm. The mode-locked laser had a pulse width of 1.3 ps and a repetition rate of 12.6 Mhz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 64 d B. Q-switched laser operation was stable at a wavelength of 1890.1 nm within a pump power of 312 m W–381 m W. With the increase in pump power from 312 m W to 381 m W, the repetition rate increased to a maximum of 56.63 k hz and the pulse width decreased to a minimum value of 2.85 μs. Wide-range tunability of the Q-switched laser was also realized within the wavelength range of1882 nm–1936 nm.
