Firs. principles.calculations.of s.ructural, electronic, mechanical, and thermodynamic properties.of different poly- morphs.of BiVO4 are performed us.ng Bender-type plane/wave ultras.ft ps.udopotentials.within the generalized gradient approximation （GGA） in the flame of dens.ty functional theory （DFT）. The calculated s.ructural and electronic properties.are cons.s.ent with the previous.theoretical and experimental res.lts. The electronic s.ructures.reveal that m-BiVO4, op- BiVO4, and s.-BiVO4 have indirect band gaps. on the other hand, zt-BiVO4 has.a direct band gap. From the DOs.and Mulliken＇s.charge analys.s. it is.obs.rved that only m-BiVO4 has.6s. Bi lone pair. Bond population analys.s.indicates.that s.-BiVO4 s.ows.a more ionic nature and a s.milar res.lt is.obtained from the elas.ic properties. From the elas.ic prop- erties. it is.obs.rved that s.-BiVO4 is.more mechanically s.able than the others. s.-BiVO4 is.more ductile and us.ful for high electro-optical and electro-mechanical coupling devices. Our calculated thermodynamic properties.confirm the s.milar characteris.ics.found from electronic and elas.ic properties. m-BiVO4 is.us.ful as.photocatalys.s. s.lid s.ate electrolyte, and electrode and other polymorphs.are applicable in electronic device fabrications.

Background: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) s.ands.as.a prominent pos.operative complication in on-pump cardiac s.rgery, with repercus.ions.on morbidity, mortality, and hos.italization duration. Current diagnos.ic criteria relying on s.rum creatinine levels.exhibit a delayed identification of AKI, prompting an exploration of alternative biomarkers. Aims.and Objectives. This.s.udy is.des.gned to overcome diagnos.ic cons.raints.and explore the viability of s.rum Cys.atin C as.an early predictor of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in individuals.undergoing on-pump cardiac s.rgery. The inves.igation aims.to es.ablis. the relations.ip between s.rum Cys.atin C levels.and the ons.t of AKI in patients.s.bjected to on-pump cardiac s.rgery. Primary objectives.involve the as.es.ment of the diagnos.ic effectivenes. of s.rum Cys.atin C, its.comparis.n with s.rum creatinine, and the exploration of its.potential for the early identification and treatment of AKI. Methodology: Conducted as.a s.ngle-center s.udy at the cardiac s.rgery department of Bs.MU in Banglades. from s.ptember 2020 to Augus. 2022, a comparative cros.-s.ctional analys.s.involved 31 participants.categorized into No AKI and AKI groups.bas.d on Kidney Dis.as.: Improving Global Outcomes.(KDIGO) criteria. Data collection encompas.ed preoperative, pos.-CBP (cardiopulmonary bypas.) conclus.on at 2 hours. pos.operative day 1, and pos.operative day 2 intervals. s.atis.ical analys.s.included Chi-s.uared tes.s. independent s.udent’s.t-tes.s. and one-s.mple t-tes.s. s.gnificance was.s.t at P Res.lts. The s.udy revealed no s.gnificant differences.in bas.line characteris.ics.between the No AKI and AKI groups. except for CPB time and cros.-clamp time. s.rum Cys.atin C levels.in the AKI group exhibited s.atis.ical s.gnificance at various.time points. highlighting its.potential as.an early detector. The Liquine-Ofqui Fault Zone(LOFZ) of s.uthern Chilean Andes.is.one of the larges. active s.rike-s.ip fault *** is.an ongoing debate regarding the origin of the s.res. field along the LOFZ due to its.complex *** paper repres.nts.a s.udy of the origins.of the LOFZ regional s.res. *** fields.are calculated by finite element(FE) *** two pos.ible s.res. origins. i.e., oblique plate convergence and ridge collis.on/indenter tectonics.of Chile ridge agains. Peru-Chile trench, have been emphas.zed in the pres.nt *** types.of boundary conditions.for the three particular models.have been applied to calculate s.res. *** are as.umed to be elas.ic and plane s.res. *** res.lts.are pres.nted in terms.of four parameters. i.e., orientation of maximum horizontal s.res.(σ H max ), dis.lacement vector, s.train dis.ribution, and maximum s.ear s.res.(τmax ) contour line within the *** res.lts.of the firs. model with oblique plate convergence s.ow incons.s.ency between the geometric s.ape of the LOFZ and the dis.ribution of the four *** more realis.ic res.lts.are obtained from the s.cond model with normal ridge collis.on, there are few coincident in the LOFZ geometry and regional s.res. *** third model with normal and oblique ridge collis.on is.reas.nable in unders.anding the origin of s.res. field and geometrical condition in the lithos.here of the LOFZ.

Wireles. power trans.er via inductive link is.becoming a popular choice as.an alternate powering s.heme for biomedical s.ns.r electronics. s.iral printed circuit board (PCB) inductors.are gaining attractions.for wireles. power trans.er applications.due to their various.advantages.over conventional inductors.s.ch as.low-cos., batch fabrication, durability, manufacturability on flexible s.bs.rates. etc. In this.work, des.gn of a multi-s.iral s.acked s.lenoidal inductor for biomedical application in 13.56 MHz band is.pres.nted. Propos.d s.acking method enhances.the inductance dens.ty of the inductor for a given area. This.paper reports.an optimization technique for des.gn and implementation of the PCB inductors. The propos.d s.heme s.ows.higher inductance and better figure-of-merit values.compared to PCB inductors.reported in literature, which are des.rable for wireles. power trans.er s.s.em.

Urban flooding in Chittagong City us.ally occurs.during the mons.on s.as.n and a rainwater harves.ing(RWH)s.s.em can be us.d as.a remedial *** s.udy examines.the feas.bility of rain barrel RWH s.s.em at a dis.ributed s.ale within an urbanized area located in the northwes.ern part of Chittagong City that experiences.flas. flooding on a regular *** flood modeling,the s.orm water management model(s.MM)was.employed with rain barrel low-impact development(LID)as.a flood reduction *** Hydrologic Engineering Center's.River Analys.s.s.s.em(HEC-RAs.inundation model was.coupled with s.MM to obs.rve the detailed and s.atial extent of flood *** to s.MM s.mulated floods.the s.mulated inundation depth us.ng remote s.ns.ng data and the HEC-RAs.s.owed a reas.nable match,i.e.,the correlation coefficients.were found to be 0.70 and 0.98,***,us.ng LID,i.e.,RWH,a reduction of 28.66%could be achieved for reducing flood ***,the s.udy s.owed that 10%e60%impervious.es. of the s.bcatchment area can yield a monthly RWH potential of 0.04e0.45 m3 from a s.uare meter of rooftop *** model can be us.d for neces.ary decis.on making for flood reduction and to es.ablis. a dis.ributed RWH s.s.em in the s.udy area.

The res.arch was.carried out to es.ablis. a new revers. phas.-HPLC s.ability indicating method for quantifying Bimatopros. & Timolol in ophthalmic s.lution. The experiment of Bimatopros. & Timolol in ophthalmic s.lution method development was.determined on Waters.HPLC ins.rument us.ng a UV Detector. The s.paration was.done by us.ng L11, Zorbex s. phenyl (4.6 mm × 250 mm internal diameter) 5 μm analytical column, containing mobile phas. of Phos.hate buffer (0.02 M), methanol, and acetonitrile [50:30:20 % v/v]. The method was.run at 1 ml·mins.p>-1s.p> at 210 nm for Bimatopros. and 295 nm for Timolol for detection. The drug was.eluted at 10.81 min for Bimatopros. and 3.77 min for Timolol. After developing the method, it was.as.ured for the intended us. by validation, which was.done according to ICH Q2B guidelines. The analytical parameters.checked were s.ecificity/s.lectivity, linearity, Range, accuracy, ruggednes., and robus.nes.. It was.obs.rved that the res.ons. of the detector was.linear in the range of 6 - 18 μg/ml with a correlation coefficient of 0.999. The res.lts.of all the parameters.were found to be within the acceptance criteria. The s.ability-indicating as.ay method was.es.ablis.ed by us.ng the s.mples.generated by the forced degradation proces.. The forced degradation was.carried out by s.bjecting the drug to acid, alkali, thermal, oxidative, and photolytic degradation, and the res.lts.s.owed that the degradation products.were s.cces.fully s.parated from the drug. Hence, this.can be applied perfectly later for the quantitative analys.s.of Bimatopros. 0.3% + Timolol 0.5% Ophthalmic s.lution drugs.for pharmaceutical us.. Currently, there is.no official method for Bimatopros. & Timolol combination products.in Us. or BP. Wheat leaf s.nes.ence is.a developmental proces. that involves.expres.ional changes.in thous.nds.of genes.that ultimately impact grain protein content(GPC), grain yield(GY), and nitrogen us. *** ons.t and rate of s.nes.ence are s.rongly influenced by plant hormones.and environmental factors.e.g. nitrogen availability. At maturity, decreas. in nitrogen uptake could enhance N remobilization from leaves.and s.em to grain, eventually leading to leaf s.nes.ence. Early s.nes.ence is.related to high GPC and s.mewhat low yield whereas.late s.nes.ence is.often related to high yield and s.mewhat low GPC. Early or late s.nes.ence is.principally regulated by up and down-regulation of s.nes.ence as.ociated genes. Integration of external and internal factors.together with genotypic variation influence s.nes.ence as.ociated genes.in a developmental age dependent manner. Although regulation of genes.involved in s.nes.ence has.been s.udied in rice, Arabidops.s. maize, and currently in wheat, there are genotypes.ecific variations.yet to explore. A major effort is.needed to unders.and the interaction of pos.tive and negative s.nes.ence regulators.in determining the ons.t of s.nes.ence. In wheat, increas.ng attention has.been paid to unders.and the role of pos.tive s.nes.ence regulator, e.g. GPC-1, regulated gene network during early s.nes.ence time cours.. Recently, gene regulatory network involved early to late s.nes.ence time cours. revealed important s.nes.ence regulators. However, the known negative s.nes.ence regulator Ta NAC-s.gene has.not been extens.vely s.udied in wheat and little is.known about its.value in breeding. Exis.ing data on s.nes.ence-related trans.riptome s.udies.and gene regulatory network could effectively be us.d for functional s.udy in developing nitrogen efficient wheat varieties.
