For Ag alloy film used for the storage media, it is required to have heat-resistance, anti-constant temperature and anti-constant humidity characteristics, corrosion resistance, while high reflectivity over Al is maintained. An Ag alloy thin film (additive element Pd, Cu, P) was created on glass substrates, and various heat treatment was conducted. Then, fine structure was observed on this thin film using AFM, and fine structure evaluation of the inside was carried out by the in-plane diffractometry and X-ray diffractometry, and in addition, residual stress analysis was carried out. These results were compared and were examined, and fine structure and physical property in a metallic thin film were evaluated, and usefulness of evaluation method was verified.

Effect of bending and tension deformation on the texture evolution and stretch formability of Mg-Zn-RE-Zr alloy

Bending and tension deformations were performed on Mg-1.3 wt%Zn-0.2 wt%RE-0.3 wt%Zr(ZEK100)alloy sheets that initially had a transverse direction(TD)-split *** effects of bending and tension deformations on the texture formation and room-temperature formability of specimens were *** specimen subjected to 3-pass bending and tension deformations exhibited an excellent Erichsen value of 9.6 ***,the Erichsen value deterioration was observed in the specimen subjected to 7-pass *** rolling direction-split texture developed on the surface with an increasing pass number of ***,the clear TD-split texture remained at the central *** a result,a quadrupole texture was macroscopically developed with an increasing pass number of *** reduction in anisotropy by the formation of the quadrupole texture is suggested to be the main reason for the improvement in stretch *** contrast,the generation of coarse grains near the surface is suggested to be the direct cause for the deterioration of the stretch formability of the specimen subjected to 7-pass deformations.

Although gastric cancer(GC)is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death,major therapeutic advances have not been made,and patients with GC still face poor *** prognosis of GC also remains poor because the molecular mechanisms of GC progression are incompletely ***(miRNAs)are noncoding RNAs that are associated with gastric *** investigating the regulation of gene expression by miRNAs have made considerable progress in recent years,and abnormalities in miRNA expression have been shown to be associated with the occurrence and progression of *** contribute to gastric carcinogenesis by altering the expression of oncogenes and tumor suppressors,affecting cell proliferation,apoptosis,motility,and ***,a number of miRNAs have been shown to be associated with tumor type,tumor stage,and patient survival and therefore may be developed as novel diagnostic or prognostic *** this review,we discuss the involvement of miRNAs in GC and the mechanisms through which they regulate gene expression and biological ***,we review recent research on the involvement of miRNAs in GC prognosis,their potential use in chemotherapy,and their effects on Helicobacter pylori infections in GC.A greater understanding of the roles of miRNAs in gastric carcinogenesis could provide insights into the mechanisms of tumor development and could help to identify novel therapeutic targets.

Analysis of Motor Synergies Utilization for Optimal Movement Generation for a Human-like Robotic Arm

Controlling human-like robots with musculoskeletal structure has been a challenging problem in engineering. In biological studies, motor synergy hypothesis has been proposed as a solution in order to control high degree-of-freedom and complex human body. In this paper, we focus on exploring the applicability of motor synergies in generating goal-directed movements by optimal control in a human-like robotic arm. We focus on three problems： 1） Can motor synergies facilitate the solving of optimal control problem？ 2） What properties should motor synergies have in order to achieve tasks？ 3） How should motor synergies be utilized better？ For the first problem we show that goal-directed movements can be achieved by utilizing motor synergies which have properties of achieving the goals. For the second problem, we testify motor synergies which have different properties and discover that energy efficiency is an important aspect in motor synergies which can also be utilized to achieve goal-directed movements. This discovery also implies that we can obtain motor synergies by other ways rather than from goal-directed optimal control signals. For the third problem, we show that the control complexity can be further reduced by utilizing a subset of motor synergies which are effective to achieve goals.

Acute and delayed psychiatric sequelae among patients hospitalised with COVID-19:a cohort study using LIFE study data

Background Characterising the psychiatric sequelae of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)can inform the development of long-term treatment ***,few studies have examined these sequelae at different time points after COVID-19 *** The study aimed to investigate the incidences and risks of acute and delayed psychiatric sequelae in patients hospitalised with COVID-19 in *** This retrospective cohort study was conducted using a database comprising healthcare claims data from public health insurance enrollees residing in a Japanese *** analysed a primary cohort comprising patients hospitalised with COVID-19 between March 2020 and July 2021 and two control cohorts comprising patients hospitalised with influenza or other respiratory tract infections(RTI)during the same *** calculated the incidences of acute(1–3 months after infection)and delayed(4–6 months after infection)psychiatric *** sequelae were identified using diagnosis codes and categorised as mood/anxiety/psychotic disorder,mood disorder,anxiety disorder,psychotic disorder or *** logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratios(ORs)of psychiatric sequelae occurrence after COVID-19 infection compared with influenza and other *** The study population with acute psychiatric sequela consisted of 662 patients with COVID-19,644 patients with influenza,and 7369 patients with RTI who could be followed for 3 months;the study population with delayed psychiatric sequelae consisted of 371 patients with COVID-19,546 patients with influenza,and 5397 patients with RTI who could be followed for 6 *** the analysis of acute psychiatric sequelae,COVID-19 had significantly higher odds of mood/anxiety/psychotic disorder(OR:1.39,p=0.026),psychotic disorder(OR:2.13,p<0.001),and insomnia(OR:2.59,p<0.001)than influenza,and significantly higher odds of insomnia(OR:1.44,p=0.002)and significantly lower odds of anxiety disorder(OR:0.56,p<0.

Gastric cancer is the second most frequent cancer in the world, accounting for a large proportion of all cancer cases in Asia, Latin America, and some countries in Europe. Helicobacter pylori（H pylori） is regarded as playing a specific role in the development of atrophic gastritis, which represents the most recognized pathway in multistep intestinal-type gastric carcinogenesis. Recent studies suggest that a combination of host genetic factors, bacterial virulence factors, and environmental and lifestyle factors determine the severity of gastric damage and the eventual clinical outcome of H pylori infection. The seminal discovery of Hpylori as the leading cause of gastric cancer should lead to effective eradication strategies. Prevention of gastric cancer requires better screening strategies to identify candidates for eradication.

The primexine formation and plasma membrane undulation are the crucial steps of pollen wall formation in many ***,the molecular mechanism underlining these processes is largely *** Arabidopsis,NEW ENHANCER OF ROOT DWARFISM1(NERD1),a transmembrane protein,was reported to play pleiotropic roles in plant development including male fertility control;while,how NERD1 disruption impacts male reproduction is yet ***,we revealed that the male sterility of nerd1 mutants is attributed to defects in early steps of pollen wall *** found that nerd1-2 is void of primexine formation and microspore plasma membrane undulation,defective in callose ***,sporopollenin precursors are unable to deposit and assemble on the microspore surface,but instead accumulated in the anther locule and tapetal cells,and ultimately leading to microspore ***1 is localized in the Golgi and is expressed in both vegetative and reproductive organs,with the highest expression in reproductive tissues,including the tapetum,male meiocytes,tetrads and mature pollen *** results suggest that NERD1 is required for the primexine deposition and microspore plasma membrane undulation,thus essential for sporopollenin assembly and pollen exine formation.

Strategic Analysis of WMD Nonproliferation： Iraq and After Iraq

We examine two strategies for the nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction （WMD）：＂sanctions＂ and ＂monitoring and inspections＂. Our main conclusions are summarized as follows. Firstly, there is a substitutive relationship between sanctions and monitoring and inspections. We posit that the proliferation of WMD may be prevented through intensified sanctions or increased monitoring and inspections. Secondly, monitoring activities may be decreased through the increased effectiveness of sanctions aimed at preventing proliferation. Thirdly, if the increased development costs of WMD can decrease the need for inspection activities sufficiently, the extent of monitoring activities could also reduce.

This paper shows that the standing, backward- and forward-accelerated large amplitude relativistic electromagnetic solitons induced by intense laser pulse in long underdense collisionless homogeneous plasmas can be observed by particle simulations. In addition to the inhomogeneity of the plasma density, the acceleration of the solitons also depends upon not only the laser amplitude but also the plasma length. The electromagnetic frequency of the solitons is between about half and one of the unperturbed electron plasma frequency. The electrostatic field inside the soliton has a one-cycle structure in space, while the transverse electric and magnetic fields have half-cycle and one-cycle structure respectively. Analytical estimates for the existence of the solitons and their electromagnetic frequencies qualitatively coincide with our simulation results.
