Klebsiella pneumoniae has been associated with different types of infections and one of the important aspects of Klebsiella associated infection is the emergence of multi-drug resistant strains particularly those involved in nosocomial *** our studies we have collected fifty-nine clinical isolates,from different places of India as this study was conducted in *** resembled Klebsiella were recovered from respiratory,UTI and pus *** of fifty-nine clinical isolates,twenty were found positive for *** at biochemical *** clinical isolates of *** were further tested for antimicrobial sensitivity and most of them were found to be multidrug *** confirmed *** isolates were resistant to carbenicillin and one among them recovered from sputum sample of a pneumonic patient was resistant to all the antimicrobial agents tested except exhibiting a partial susceptibility to *** pneumoniae strains from clinical cases in our study were found highly susceptible to quinolones,aminoglycoside,amykacin and *** the same time over 60% strains were resistant to chloramphenicol and *** also found that 28 to 76% of them were resistant to cephalosporins(ceftizoxime and cefotaxime).

Microsporidia are obligate intracellular protozoal parasites. They are eukaryotic and spore forming. Increasing interest in this parasite as a pathogen in the ocular tissues in recent times is due to increasing awareness of microsporidia as an ocular pathogen and better methods of identification of the organism. It also can cause intestinal, sinus, pulmonary, muscular and renal diseases, in both immunocompetent and immunosuppressed patients. Ocular microsporidiosis can occur in isolation or as a part of systemic infections. In earlier published literature, ocular involvement in immunocompetent individuals was more in the form of stromal keratitis and immunocompromised individuals were seen to have keratoconjunctivitis. However, later studies show that this pattern has many variations. Occurrence in rainy season with exposure to muddy water and history of minor trauma is now a known factor. Identification by light microscopy from scrapings with KOH, Gram, Giemsa staining is possible. Growth of the organisms, however, is possible only by cell culture. Species identification is done by polymerase chain reaction and by electron microscopy. Immunofluorescent staining techniques are also available in advanced laboratories for species differentiation of microsporidia. Till date, treatment of ocular microsporidia has not been standardized and varies from simple debridement to use of various antibiotics, antiseptics antifungals and antiviral agents.

Semiconducting nanoparticle tin oxide-based sensors have been prepared with a pressure load of 4, 6, 8, 10 tons and reinforced with carbon nanofibers (CNF) in SnO2 matrix. The SnO2/CNF sensor’s sensitivity for ethyl alcohol has in-creased by a factor of two, in compared with that of pure SnO2 8-ton pressed sensor with lower response time. These results open the way towards further optimized lower cost CNF nanocomposite sensors as compared with expensive tin oxide/carbon nanotubes sensors.

The syntax score devised as a tool to grade complexity of coronary artery disease with a view to its suitability for PCI or otherwise on deeper introspection is fraught with some inherent limitations and fallacies largely as a result of the variability in coronary anatomy and the fixed nomenclature of the devised scoring system. We, in this special report, bring out the limitations and fallacies in the same and possible remedies presented as a viewpoint which may be useful to the interventional community at large.
