Crop growth in greenhouses is basically determined by the climate variables in the environment and by the amounts of water and fertilizers supplied by *** management of these factors depends on the expertise of agricultural technicians and farmers,usually assisted by control systems installed within the *** this context,decision support features enable us to incorporate invaluable human experience so thatwe can take quick and effective decisions to ensure efficient crop *** work describes a real-time decision support system for greenhouse tomatoes that supports decisions at three stages–the supervision stage identifies climate sensor faults,the control stage maintains climate variables at setpoints,and the strategic stage identifies diseases affecting the crop and changes climate variables accordingly to minimize *** DSS was implemented by integrating a real-time rule-based tool into the control *** results show that the system increases climate control effectiveness,while providing support in preventing diseaseswhich are difficult to *** system was tested by simulating the appearance of the disease and observing the real *** main contribution has been to demonstrate that production rules,which aremature and well-known in the artificial intelligence domain,can act as a shared technology for the whole *** means that fault detection,temperature control and disease monitoring features are not dealt with in isolation.

为探究稀土离子掺杂对Ca_(3)Ti_(2)O_(7)物理性能的调控,采用固相反应法制备了Sm^(3+)掺杂的(Ca_(1-x)Sm_(x))_(3)Ti_(2)O_(7)(x=0,0.02,0.04)陶瓷样品,通过XRD、XPS、紫外-可见光吸收光谱以及第一性原理计算等方法对样品的晶体结构、光学性能、电学性能和磁学性能进行分析.结果表明:随着Sm^(3+)含量的增加,(Ca_(1-x)Sm_(x))_(3)Ti_(2)O_(7)的晶胞参数逐渐增大.Sm^(3+)掺杂导致氧空位减少,因此样品的漏电流随着Sm^(3+)掺杂量的增加而减小.同时,随着Sm^(3+)掺杂量的增加,样品的光学带隙呈现增大趋势.此外,第一性原理研究表明,Sm^(3+)掺杂可在体系中诱导出磁性能,进一步丰富了该材料的物理性能.

Introducing magnetic dopants into twodimensional transition metal dichalcogenides has recently attracted considerable attention due to its promising applications in spintronics and *** we realized manganese-doped molybdenum diselenide(MoSe_(2))single crystal via chemical vapor transport(CVT)reaction,containing up to 2.9%(atomic concentration)Mn dopants,and investigated the light-matter interaction in these *** observed a suppressed trion intensity,a longer photoluminescence lifetime,and prominent blue-and red-shift of E_(2g)^(2)(in-plane)and A_(1g)(out-of-plane)Raman modes,***,the Mn dopants increase the valley Zeeman splitting of the MoSe_(2) monolayer by~50%,while preserving the linear dependence on magnetic ***-principles calculations indicate that the spin-polarized deep level defect states are formed due to the Mn substitutional dopants in the Mo Se_(2) *** resulting defect potential favors the funnelling of excitons towards the *** Mn dopants reduce the magnitude of the interatomic force constants,explaining the red-shift of the A_(1g)*** Mn atoms and their immediate Mo and Se neighbors carry significant magnetic moments,which enhance the observed exciton g-factors due to the exchange interactions affecting defect-bound excitons.

Up-conversion photoluminescence(UCPL)refers to the elementary process where low-energy photons are converted into high-energy ones via consecutive interactions inside a *** additional energy is provided by intermnal thermal energy in the form of lttice vibrations(phonons),the process is called phonon-assisted ***,we report the exceptionally large phonon-assisted energy gain of up to^8kgT(kg is Boltzmann constant,T is temperature)on all-inorganic lead halide perovskite semiconductor colloidal nanocrystals that goes beyond the maximum capabilty of only harvesting optical phonon *** systematic optical study in combination with a statistical probability model,we explained the nontrivial phonon-assisted UCPL process in perovskites nanocrystals,where in addition to the strong electron-phonon(light-matter)coupling,other nonlinear processes such as phonon-phonon(matter-matter)interaction also effectively boost the up-conversion efficiency.

An 11 year old, hispanic girl with a history of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia was admitted to the hospital for symptoms compatible with Bartonella henselae infection. The first molecularly diagnosed case of disseminated Bartonella henselae infection was reported in an immunocompromised patient in Lima, Peru. The analysis was confirmed by Polymerase Chain Reaction and automated sequencing of a liver biopsy sample, even though the serologic tests were negative. In conclusion, Bartonella spp. infection should have a particular diagnostic consideration in immunocompromised patients with fever of unknown origin and further investigation regarding the patient's past exposures with cats should also be elicited.

AIM： To analytically assess the effect of pupil size upon the refractive power distributions of different designs of multifocal contact ***： Two multifocal contact lenses of center-near design and one multifocal contact lens of center-distance design were used in this study. Their power profiles were measured using the NIMO TR1504 device （LAMBDA-X, Belgium）. Based on their power profiles, the power distribution was assessed as a function of pupil size. For the high addition lenses, the resulting refractive power as a function of viewing distance （far, intermediate, and near） and pupil size was also ***： The power distribution of the lenses was affected by pupil size differently. One of the lenses showed a significant spread in refractive power distribution, from about ？3 D to 0 D. Generally, the power distribution of the lenses expanded as the pupil diameter became greater. The surface of the lens dedicated for each distance varied substantially with the design of the ***： In an experimental basis, our results show how the lenses power distribution is affected by the pupil size and underlined the necessity of careful evaluation of the patient’s visual needs and the optical properties of a multifocal contact lens for achieving the optimal visual outcome.

Improving the Control Energy in Model Reference Adaptive Controllers Using Fractional Adaptive Laws

This paper presents the analysis of the control energy consumed in model reference adaptive control(MRAC)schemes using fractional adaptive laws, through simulation studies. The analysis is focused on the energy spent in the control signal represented by means of the integral of the squared control input(ISI). Also, the behavior of the integral of the squared control error(ISE) is included in the *** orders of the adaptive laws were selected by particle swarm optimization(PSO), using an objective function including the ISI and the ISE, with different weighting factors. The results show that, when ISI index is taken into account in the optimization process to determine the orders of adaptive laws,the resulting values are fractional, indicating that control energy of the scheme might be better managed if fractional adaptive laws are used.
