＜正＞ A series of novel poly-aza bis-histidines with much potential in medicinal, bioinorganic, bioorganic, biomimet-ic and supramolecular chemistry were synthesized conveniently, efficiently and readily in excellent yields from com-mercial histidine. The low temperature in the reaction of the protected histidine with poly-aza diamine 5 is key con-dition for the selective preparation of target compounds with high yields.

Attachment style,which has been theorized to be rooted in childhood bonding experiences,influences adult cognitive,emotional and interpersonal *** its relationship with early experiences,research indicates that the continuity of attachment style across childhood and adulthood is only partial,being a malleable tendency that is shaped throughout development,with an increasing influence of genetics,as it occurs in other cognitive and behavioral *** research indicates that up to 45% of the variability in anxious and 39% in avoidant adult attachment style could be explained by genetic causes,but the precise mechanisms remain unclear.A narrative review is conducted analyzing the existing literature regarding the implication of candidate genes related to oxytocin,dopaminergic pathways,serotonergic pathways and brainderived neurotrophic factor in adult attachment,with both vulnerability and differential susceptibility approaches,yielding mixed *** highlight the lack of genome-wide studies and the scarcity of epigenetic *** on the existing data,we conclude that the genetics of adult attachment is an area that requires further research to clarify its etiological role and that it should be preferably approached as an interaction between nature and nurture.

Violence at work and its relationship with burnout, depression and anxiety in healthcare professionals of the emergency services

The aim of this study was to examine the possible relationship between physical and psychological aggression suffered in the workplace and professional burnout, depression and anxiety suffered by healthcare professionals of the emergency services. methods: 315 physicians, nurses, orderlies and ambulance drivers of Critical Care and Emergency Devices (CCED) in the Andalusian Public Health System, in the province of Granada (Spain) participated. They were interviewed about the exposure to violence at work and answered a battery of questions that measured burnout, depression and anxiety. Results: Physical aggression was significantly related to emotional exhaustion, personal accomplishment at work, depression and anxiety. Psychological aggression was associated with personal accomplishment. Logistic regression showed that the CCED professionals who have suffered physical aggression were 4.2 and 2.6 times more likely to have suffered anxiety and reduced personal accomplishment, respectively, than those who did not suffer physical aggression. On the other hand, feelings of anxiety and reduced personal accomplishment increase the professionals’ risk (3.4 and 2.1 times more likely, respectively) of suffering from physical aggression. Conclusion: The results suggest that exposure to violence is related to the other psychological problems tested: emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment (two components of burnout), depression and anxiety. In addition, physical violence is a risk factor for anxiety and diminished personal accomplishment of the CCED professionals.

Dose Pattern Evolution and Therapeutic Benefit in Patients on Solifenacin or Fesoterodine Treatment in Daily Clinical Practice

Aim: To explore in daily clinical practice the evolution in time of the fesoterodine and solifenacin dose pattern and assess the therapeutic benefit provided by the highest dose of these anti-muscarinics. Patients and methods: This was a post-hoc analysis of data from an observational, cross-sectional, retrospective and multicenter study. Adult patients diagnosed with over active bladder (OAB) who initiated fesoterodine or solifenacin treatment were included. Data on the prescribed treatment and dose, change of dose, reasons for switching and treatment benefit were recorded. Results: A total of 828 subjects were analyzed (262 receiving solifenacin and 566 fesoterodine). most subjects were women with a mean time since diagnosis of more than one year and aged around 60 years old. The majority of patients initiated the OAB treatment with the lowest available dose (64% fesoterodine vs. 77% solifenacin). At the follow-up visit 54% of the fesoterodine group and 66% of the solifenacin opted for dose escalation. At the study visit, 70.1% fesoterodine vs. 43.3% solifenacin remained on the highest dose. A significantly greater proportion of subjects receiving fesoterodine 8 mg, reported higher improvement in terms of both patient-reported-treatment benefit and clinical global impression compared with solifenacin 10 mg (p more than half of the patients opted for the higher dose and remained on it over time, suggesting a desire for greater efficacy. Fesoterodine 8 mg seems to provide greater benefits from the physician’s and the patient’s point of view compared with those provided by solifenacin 10 mg.

Anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) have several adverse effects on the cardiovascular system that may lead to a sudden cardiac death (SCD).We herein report a case involving a 24-year-old male,AAS abuser with intramuscular delivery in the 6 months before,who suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest at home's bathtub when returning from New Year's party.A forensic autopsy was performed according to the guidelines of the Association for European Cardiovascular Pathology (AECVP).The body showed hypertrophy of skeletal musculature,with low amount of subcutaneous fat and no signs of injury (body mass index,Bmh 26.8 kg/m^(2)).On internal examination,there were multiorgan congestion,acute pulmonary edema,and cardiomegaly (420 g) with severe coronary atherosclerosis and superimposed acute occlusive thrombosis at the left main trunk and left anterior *** of scarring were located at the intersection between the posterior wall and the posterior third of the septum (postero-septal).At histology,acute myocardial infarction at the anterior third of the septum and the anterior wall,and subacute myocardial infarction at apical septum and apical posterior wall were *** findings were small intramyocardial vessel disease and myocytes *** analysis in blood showed ethanol ((0.90 ±0.05) g/L),stanazolol (11.31 μg/L),nandrolone (2.05μg/L) and testosterone (must pay attention to the physical phenotype that may suggest AAS abuse and perform a detailed examination of the *** analysis is a key to establish the relationship between SCD and AAS abuse.

Predictors for advanced fibrosis in morbidly obese nonalcoholic fatty liver patients

AImTo investigate predictors for fibrosis specifically in a high risk population of morbidly obese patients, including detailed evaluation of lifestyle. mETHODSWe conducted a cross-sectional study among morbidly obese patients attending the bariatric clinic at the Tel-Aviv medical Center between the years 2013-2014 with body mass index (BmI) above 40 or above 35 with co-morbidity. Patients with serum hepatitis B surface antigen or anti-hepatitis C virus antibodies, genetic liver diseases, autoimmune disease or high alcohol intake (≥ 30 g/d in men or ≥ 20 g/d in women) were excluded from the study. Liver fibrosis was estimated by transient elastography (FibroScan®), using the ‘‘XL’’ probe. We collected data on age and gender, education, smoking status and amount, medical history, nutrition and lifestyle habits. All these data were collected using structured and validated questionnaires. Fasting blood test were available for a subsample. RESULTSFibroscan was performed on a total of 91 patients, of which 77 had a valid examination according to the accepted criteria. Of those, 21% had significant fibrosis (F2) and 39% had advanced or severe fibrosis (F3 or F4). In multivariate analysis, male gender and BmI had a positive association with advanced fibrosis; the OR for fibrosis F ≥ 2 was 7.93 (95%CI: 2.36-26.64, P = 0.001) for male gender and 1.33 (1.11-1.60 kg/m2, P = 0.002) for BmI. The OR for fibrosis F ≥ 3 was 2.92 (1.08-7.91, P = 0.035) for male gender and 1.17 (1.03-1.33, P = 0.018) for BmI. Subjects were categorized to subgroups based on the combination of male gender and BmI of 40 and above. A significant dose response association with stiffness level was noted across these categories, with the highest stiffness among men with a higher BmI (P = 0.001). In addition, a significant positive correlation between pack-years cigarette smoking and liver stiffness was demonstrated among men (r = 0.54, P = 0.012)

对三个普通冬小麦(Triticum aestivum L.)品种(Splendeur,Hobbit和maris Huntsman)进行室内栽培试验,分析生长过程中各品种的氨基酸组分差异。maris Huntsman到开花后第15天,叶片衰老得最快,谷氨酸与总氨基酸比值较大,而苏氨酸、甘氨酸、丙氨酸、缬氨酸、蛋氨酸和异亮氨酸的比值较小;此后,上述趋势不太明显。与Splendeur相比,尤为如此。可以认为,叶片衰老较快的品种,较早地出现醇溶蛋白的快速合成。在成熟籽粒中,无论氮的比例多少,Hobbit的谷氨酸含量较小,而赖氨酸、精氨酸和丙氨酸的比例较大;Splendeur的天冬氨酸和赖氨酸的水平较低,只能用于制作面包;maris Hantsman的苯丙氨酸的相对含量最高。本文还对品种间某些蛋白质组分的相对比例的可能差异进行了探讨。maris Huntsman在开花后第25天,游离丙氨酸,缬氨酸,亮氨酸,异亮氨酸和苏氨酸的相对含量较少,尤其是与Splendeur比较。从开花后15天开始maris Hantsman天冬氨酸的相对含量增加,而Hobbit仅在成熟时才增加。
